We just got back from a week at the Seafire and I have to say, I’ve never felt more pampered in my life. From the moment we got out of our taxi we were just embraced by the staff. Cocolobba was so great we ate there several times. You MUST get a pina colada. Whether it’s at cocolobba or out in a beach or pool chair. We had several every day…such that we got to know Nirosha as our ‘Pina Colada Queen’ she is quite literally the best and sweetest of the people we met that week. I would go back in a heartbeat. Thank you Seafire. ❤️
Went for a girls trip and had a fabulous time at Kimpton! The facility, rooms, and on site restaurants are amazing. The food at Ave is fantastic for breakfast or dinner. Service stands out here. Whether at the pool, restaurants, interacting with housekeeping or front desk, everyone went out of their way to welcome us. Special thanks to Paco who is an awesome bartender at Ave, Sudan and Talli our servers, and Javel at the pool. All were impressive and so accommodating — cheers to you!
Wow!!!! We were treated like royalty. An amazing experience. The hotel was super clean and the staff was so welcoming. Renee, who works at the Seafire made our trip extra special. She recommended Black Tip Charter with amazing Captain Glenn. Further, she also recommended the dolphin center, which was a fabulous experience. I highly recommend this hotel and using Renee for your local travel planning. Thank you Seafire and Renee!
Beautiful resort with lots of things to do on and off resort. From the time you arrive you are treated like the only guest they have. From saying hello, opening doors, food suggestions and off resort suggestions the staff are here for you every need. You can not go wrong with Sea Fire.
Thanks to the amazing staff at The Seafire, my family of four had an unforgettable vacation in Grand Cayman! I've been traveling with Kimpton for the past 10 years and this property takes the cake between location and service! It's evident that the staff is happy to be at work each day, with a warm smile and authentic approach in helping every way they can. While everything is still fresh in my mind, I'll try to provide a breakdown of my highlights: Arrival - doorman and bellman greet you with the biggest smile and welcome gift for the little kids. Front Desk - quick, efficient and helpful with making sure we were in a comfortable room for our family. Room - ocean view with two queen beds. huge, glass balcony overlooking the pool and sea. very clean, fresh, and vibrant. Beach- the water was crystal clear and so perfect that I never wanted to get out. Luckily, amenity fee includes those yellow floats that I basically lived on everyday. The staff on the beach was THE BEST, specifically Luis, Jakob, and Alex. Everyone was so friendly and ready to help whenever needed. Coccoloba- in our book, this was the heart of Seafire. We had lunch here everyday and dinner a few times (taco Tuesday). The manager, Steve, leads an incredible team who simply made our trip so memorable. RP, Kristina, Chahana, and everyone else who we encountered became family for the week with their warm hospitality and love. Each meal was better than the next and each cocktail is worth trying at least once! Ave- each dish is a work of art and taste was even better. The octopus appetizer is a must! Overall service was top notch everywhere without over doing it and keeping the essence of the Kimpton "human" connection. We cannot wait to come back to paradise!!…
The day before my birthday my dad took me to get a massage here. All of the staff were so friendly and helpful to us both and really made us feel comfortable. When we got to the room they told us that we had booked a 50 minute body scrub but were easily able to change it to a massage without a fuss or raising the price. They were so great that my dad fell asleep! Had a lot of fun and made some good memories. Thanks for taking almost 2 years of tension off of our backs!
We just came back from a 4 night stay at the Kimpton Seafire. This was our second stay at the hotel (first was in 2018). We're well travelled and stay at 5 star properties often. This hotel deserves each and every one of 5 stars! The best staff I have encountered at possibly any hotel. Super friendly and helpful...everyone from the front desk, maids, wait staff, etc. Very few hotels can pull of being an awesome hotel while also being kid friendly. This place does it PERFECTLY! It is absolutely wild. We brought our 4 year old son with us and he had the best time. We stayed in a 1 bedroom oceanview suite. Room was gorgeous. Huge balcony. One thing all should know is if you face the north sound, or the opposite direction of the pool, roosters start making noise at 5:15am, which will wake you. Food is top notch. Small but plentiful breakfast buffet. Options changed daily. Cocoloba is an amazing restaurant right on the beach. Food was fantastic. My only complaint would be that the drinks felt almost watered down (we were with another couple that agreed). They measure a shot per drink (which I happen to hate and feel looks a bit cheap) but you tasted more mixer than anything. They tasted amazing, dont get me wrong! Beach and pool were both exceptionally clean. Public bathrooms were too. The attention to detail is exceptional. My only complaint would be that happy hour no longer exists in the lobby! We cant wait to go back. Highly recommend this property it is without a doubt a hidden gem in the Carib!…

The Kimpton Seafire is perhaps one of the most beautiful resorts on Grand Cayman. From the moment we stepped into the resort to the check out, it was perfection. The staff was outstanding, from the bellman to the pool assistants. You are greeted by your last name everywhere you dine, drink, or lounge. I was celebrating my birthday and anniversary and we received unexpected surprises with dinner almost every evening at Ave. We stayed for four delightful nights and I not only felt rested and relaxed, I felt pampered and refreshed. Check-in was a breeze and you are greeted with bubbles for tte adults and juice for the kids. You are given a brief tour on the resort and then you are whisked off to your room. Our bags arrive at our room at the same time as we did, seamlessly. Since we are Platinum status, we received an upgrade to an Oceanview spa suite with two queen beds. The rooms are tastefully decorated with custom woodwork and lovely ombré blackout drapes. The balcony is glass which allows for unobstructed views to the magnificent pool and seven mile beach, which by far is one of the best beaches in the Caribbean. The best part about the Seafire is that is relatively secluded from all the other resorts which makes for a far more relaxing beach experience. Their are no crowds and all non motorized equipment is included in your stay. You can kayak, paddle board, or sea tricycle to your heart’s content. While the ocean and beach is amazing, the pool area is equally lovely. We went during spring break so there were many families but, it was never crowded or cramped. The pool lounges and umbrellas are comfortable and provide ample shade. The pool staff, especially Romeo, make you feel comfortable and cater to your needs. You tell what you want and need and they accommodate. Poolside dining for lunch is excellent and arrives promptly. There is plenty of lounging space for everyone and there are several cabanas around the pool and on the beach. Also, the resort provides sunblock, aloe Vera afternoon gel, hand sanitizer, and swim diapers at the the pool and beach. There are multiple infused water stations along with the amenities just mentioned. So if you are carrying on, just bring face sunblock sticks and you are good to go. The food at Seafire is superb. It is handsomely plated, varied, and delicious. They accommodate a variety of dietary restrictions. Everything is made to order and they have a vegetarian menu at Ave. We ate tacos at Cocoloba on Taco and Tequila night, and it was excellent. The view from this beachside eatery is wonderful. We watched the sunset over the ocean while we dined. My 8 year old participated in Seafire kids camp for two AM sessions and she had fun. She did some drawing, lawn games, and tons of pool play in the kids splash pool and the shallow end of the beach. She also got to play by the beach. The staff at the kids club is very friendly, and they reapply sunblock every hour on the hour. The sunblock is complimentary but if your child has sensitive skin, you should send some in just in case. They do use a separate face sunscreen on the children at camp. The camp also has all day, AM, and PM options and apparently craft time at around 1:00. The concierge was very accommodating and scheduled a last minute snorkeling, sting ray city, and starfish island tour for us. We also took advantage of the 5-6 pm complimentary refreshments. This mainly consisted of canned beers, hard seltzers, Capri Sun juices, and fruit gummies. We went every evening before dinner which was a nice little treat for everyone. The other nice part of the resort is that their are multiple areas to sit and enjoy the lovely gardens and ocean views. Also, they are added a splash park that appears to be nearly finished. Once the splash park opens, the pool will probably be more adult friendly because the splash park looks really fun. Overall, I give this resort two thumbs up because the service is excellent, the staff is friendly, and accommodating. The rooms are lovely and the location is incredible. You will not be disappointed. Thank you to Jon Whyte for helping us celebrate our anniversary and my birthday and for assisting us with all the options available pre-arrival. We really had a lovely vacation and we will be back.…
