We stayed for one night in the Ardgort on our way to Donegal. The owner John senior was very pleasant when we arrived and throughout our stay and nothing was too much trouble. He has a good way about him. The bedroom was big and had a balcony off it that would be nice to sit out in the summer....

The perfect base for exploring this area. The host John could not have been better. Both myself and my wife Therese really enjoyed John's company when relaxing in the very cosy bar. The room was spacious clean and comfortable. We had dinner there on our arrival night. I can definitely recommend the sirloin steak which was perfect. Overall a really...

We were on a road trip in Ireland and we stayed in John's place just to pass the night. We ended up staying there 4 days. The room, the town, the amenities and most importantly - John, his family (and of course his dog Tully) were wonderful. We enjoyed it very much. The place is really recommended for people looking...

We stayed for two nights in the family room which was perfect for myself, baby and my parents. The room was clean, comfy beds and beautiful big windows. Each morning we had breakfast in...

The room was very shabby and the bed was uncomfortable. The restaurant is closed on a Wednesday which is not advertised anywhere. Luckily we chanced on Red Peppers and had a really good meal. Breakfast was ok but had limited choices. Wi fi was a challenge and kept dropping signal.

We were greated and treated very nicely. The room was spacious and food were excellent, it was great to have fresh Guiness from the tap and the location was also very nice. The Wifi was kind of spotty and the shower in the second floor had very low water pressure, but otherwise everything else was perfect.

The accommodations were great! We were late arriving and the owner was gracious and stayed up late to accommodate us! True Irish hospitality! Breakfast was wonderful and the atmosphere quite comfortable! We felt very much at home, highly recommended!
