We just spent the holidays in the newly rebuilt and reopened Rosewoeed LIttle Dix Bay. This has always been a spectacular property, originally part of Laurence Rockefeller's RockResorts, with a real eco friendly feel. After the rebuilding, the rooms are some of the best anywhere int he world. The restaurants have menus that reflect locally available produce and fish, and the service is Rosewood's typcally top rate service. Our family loved the beach and some of the island's other treasures such as the Baths. highly recommended.
I had the pleasure to stay at Little Dix Bay during this past Holidays and both myself and my family had a great time, stunning property well maintained without disrupting the local fauna. You can either spend all your time within the property or exploring the many beautiful beaches
I had an amazing spa day for my birthday on 22nd December. The ladies were very welcoming and helpful. The Bath Stone scrub was amazing and my masseuse was very attentive. All in all the team at little dix helped to make my birthday one of the best ever!!!
Because we were the first tourists to visit the island in 9 months, I was reluctant about how extensive the security measures would be. The process was seamless - and it made us feel incredibly safe and secure. Booking during a pandemic wasn’t the easiest process, and the price wasn’t cheap. But when that boat pulled up to Rosewood Little Dix Bay Resort, we knew it was ALL worth it. The staff could not have possibly been more welcoming, professional, warm, accommodating - I just can’t say enough about the staff. Everything, from the multitude of restaurants to the bars to the lobby, had the perfect mix of outside (the breeze is incredible), while still being under a roof in case of an island mist - or if one of us wanted a break from the sun. The entire resort is bordered by the beach. We had a very private ocean-facing villa that seemed to be hidden from the rest of the world. The staff was wonderful at arranging anything reservations to going out to purchase me fake eyelashes. We didn’t eat at one restaurant on the resort more than once, with exception of breakfast. Each restaurant had a completely different menu/ drink specials as well. There was both a gym and spa that appeared beautiful, but sadly we never had the time to check out. The resort offered bikes at your disposal. It really was like a fairytale out of a book. The staff: We had two “butlers” designated to us whom were available 24/7. Undrea and Allan - under the care of Undrea I sincerely believe I received better service than the Queen of England. They gave us their numbers and insisted that ANYTHING we need, we reach out. They all say that, right? Day 1 (when quarantined) I realized I’d forgotten a lot of trivial things…Undrea saw my distress & immediately drove to the OTHER SIDE of the island - she made me feel safe, treated us like our safety and happiness was her sole mission, I mean… I truly can’t say enough. The room was exquisite. Woke up to the sounds of the ocean, and the sun lightly coming in. The room also had an incredibly spacious balcony with 3 different areas to eat/nap/booze. The room was immaculate, and every time we left, we’d come back to the same immaculate condition we were greeted with. The only sounds we ever heard were that of nature. Gigantic king size bed. A/C and fan very easy to work. Minibar (constantly refilled). Coffee maker, hair dryer, outdoor AND indoor shower…..gigantic bathtub, huge walk in closet. Free WiFi - FAST and worked anywhere we went.…
A great beach (awesome beach) , terrific service with a smile! Accommodations are all new and luxurious, especially the higher end suites. The food at lunch on the beach was always fresh and delicious. Dinners were also well presented. Also excellent restaurants nearby by taxis. Private boats also accessible at the resort dock. Loved it!
