My fiancé and I stayed and the Heritage Inn for 1 week. Let me first start with the pros: The view was amazing! Waking up to that view and eating dinner on our patio with the view was fantastic and really enhanced our trip. Also, if you like to cook, the kitchen was fully stocked with dishes and cookware. The... More

The view is spectacular and the chef does a great job with the dinner and also the weekend brunch. We also thought Ninja and the other staff were excellent. The downside was we did not know you absolutely need a car! One of the days we stayed there was a holiday and the kitchen was closed so there was no... More

the place is in poor repair. Windows that would not open or close were the worst of the issues we found. For a place very high over the water .... very high ... windows to keep the frequent nightly rains out are a must. Most were jalousie style and simply would not operate. The AC went full tilt and chilled... More

We spent our last night in the BVI after a week on a sailboat! First we had a wonderful dinner with our sailing crew at BananaKeet. The staff, especially Desiree and Tito, were so friendly and nice. Tito also drove up to the airport quite early in the morning and was wonderful at explaining the BVI culture to us. Very... More

There is no disputing that the views from this hotel are stunning. However the hotel itself is in desperate need of repairs and renovation. None of the windows in our room shut properly as they were either broken or just worn out. Previous guests had tried in vain to stuff paper towelling and other things into the holes to stop... More

I can't deny that the views and sunsets at this place are pretty amazing. Prefect hillside location with westerly views. Enjoyed sitting on the balcony or sipping on one of their cocktails, watching the sun go down. Waking up in the morning and looking over the sea is also pretty cool. The accommodation itself is OK, but a bit basic... More

We stayed at the Heritage Inn for our honeymoon. The view truly is amazing! Thanks to Rosa for her help getting connected w/ text messages back to our kids in Kansas. It is a nice little hotel high on a hill. Beautiful views of the sunset! Not fancy, but a nice getaway.

You can't beat the view from this Inn that is up on the hill :) It was amazing to sit out on the balcony and watch the sunset. All the staff there were very helpful and nice. The living space was great as well. Very clean and plenty of space in the kitchen and living room. The bedrooms were also... More

We spent a week at Heritage Inn last month with another couple and we loved it! The view was amazing! The living areas were comfy and the bedrooms were large . The kitchen was fairly well equipped and we were able to make some fantastic meals. The pool was nice and clean. We had dinner at the Bananakeet right next... More

Its location high on Windy Hill sets The Heritage Inn apart from other accommodations on the British Virgin Island of Tortola. The sweeping vista encompasses lush mountains and the sugary beaches of Apple and Long bays to the south, Jost Van Dyke due west and the open Caribbean beyond. On clear nights, St. Thomas’ lights twinkle in the distance. The... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Heritage Inn is just what you want if you are looking for the total getaway. The Inn is located on the hilltop of a sleepy village: Carrot Bay, on the north side of Tortola. These comfortable apartments offer probably the most breathtaking views on the island: "voted Best sunset view in the BVI!" 180 degrees east and west and overlooking Jost Van Dyke, Sandy & Green Cays and three Tortola bays. This locally owned inn is quaint and quiet. Each suite has a private view-facing balcony and is furnished with a fully equipped kitchen, living room and AC king-size bed in bedrooms. Three suites have two bedrooms for family or friendly vacationers. Six, clean and comfortable, one bedroom suites also offer enough space to just forget your cares and hang out for a week. The views are so beautiful that most guests just "gape" for the first few days. In the summer the sun sets directly over the water. It is so beautiful that the locals go up for sunset cocktails at the BananaKeet Cafe on the poolside veranda to watch the sun setting over the awesome horizon. It's no wonder the slogan reads... the Higher you Get... the Better the Views!! ... more   less
