Rupert and Andrea made me feel like a VIP. My first meal was ordered while I waited to board my plane from Antigua. When I arrived my bags were whisked away while I was plied with Prosecco and my first course arrived as soon as I sat at my table. My room was upgraded and I had a lovely suite with a view over the pool and sea. The food and service was impeccable. Thank you so much Rupert for driving me to the ferry and beach when a taxi wasn't immediately available.
Fantastic spot with an outstanding staff. They managed the COVID restrictions as well as could be done. Excellent food, wonderful views and nice rooms. The rooms are well done and the pool has a James Bond feel. Highly recommend this place for you.
After a week of boating we spent 3 peaceful days here. Truly a beautiful place to relax and be pampered. Rupert and Andrea are top notch managers who welcomed us with a glass of Prosecco when we arrived. The owners, Mary and Dennis personally welcomed us and we were even offered tasty tidbits and champagne for Dennis’ birthday celebration at the pool. Waitstaff is incredible and Shekina and Nia were amazing. Rooms were well appointed with many amenities including fresh flowers to greet us. A beautiful little beach with both a beach restaurant and a more formal restaurant at the hotel. Best food on the island too!
My Wife and I came here for our honeymoon and had a great time! Andrea and Rupert were the perfect hosts. They made sure we had everything we needed while we were waiting for our covid tests to come back. Once we were clear of quarantine, they set up a tour of the island, a sailing and snorkeling adventure, and various trips around the island. Lets talk about food. I have had good food, but what we were served was absolutely amazing! Many places say they are known for steak, but nothing I have ever had stands up to the Filet Mignon at Sugar Mill. The good food did not stop at the steak, everything we ate was absolutely delicious! The only things that we thought were not optimal were all due to Covid. It is difficult to see the beautiful view from the patio when you can't go and enjoy it, but hopefully all of that won't be a problem here in the near future. My wife and I had planned on vacationing in many different areas, but after our stay and Sugar Mill, we have already made plans to come back!…
My husband and I booked this place after being canceled on a yacht charter. On day one at the Sugar Mill, we were very happy our yacht charter had been canceled and we were staying a week at the Sugar Mill Hotel. Rupert and Andrea were the best hosts and, now life-long friends. They truly went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time, from delivering food to our room at any time to taking us on a day tour of the island. They truly love their job and their home and it shows. It was like staying in a luxury 5-star resort combined with the small personal attention to every detail. The staff, cook, housekeepers, and everyone we encountered were so very nice and made sure we had everything we needed or wanted. We are already planning our return to the Sugar Mill.
