Nice big room, quiet location, steps from the beach, great local food and coffee. Very well kept small property with a pretty back garden. There is Wi-Fi and some parking available. The staff and owners are friendly.

Perfect hosts, great amenities, updated, affordable and delicious breakfast. The area is still recovering, however, there are still a number of amazing places to eat within walking distance. Great place to call a base camp to explore the island. About $60 US to go to far side of

We decided to stay on both ends of our week long sailing about Guadeloupe, as flying in and out of St. Martin is still easier than elsewhere for this part of the Caribbean. We wanted to give back to this wonderful island that was terribley devastated by Hurricane Irma last

Three of my friends and I came to St.Martin for sailing and we had booked Hevea for three nights (10th-13th) beforehand through booking.com. When we came to the hotel from the airport I could not believe it was the right place. The photos on the site had been taken long before

We stayed at Hevea Hotel for one night on 3rd March. To say we were shocked on arrival to see the 'hotel' in a state of devastation. This is NOT a hotel but a ROOM only property. The room we were given had holes in the ceiling (hurricane damage) we assume. The fridge was in a

Hello Sorry that you were disppointed. Our reception have damage and the renovation is suppose to start every 2 days but lots of materials problem at the moment. The second place with visible damage is the room that you booked. There are these 2 holes at a corner of the room. The fridge and the lampshade are already change. All other rooms are exactly the same as pictures. We though that the holes of this room would be fix earlier that why we didn't do anything for change picture. Exept that, all services of our place are the same. It is only the look and it is in process To change at the moment. About the terrasse it is clean so i don't know what you call lounge area (Maybe the storage;) ) About the fact that you hear sound it is a personal feeling because it didn't change between before and after the hurricane. Hope welcome you again in butter condition. Best regards Anne laure

I was there in March, and stayed on the lower level. It's fine for a budget/economy hotel on a very expensive island. There are indeed a few rooms on the street (upper) level. The lower level rooms are dark but who stays in the room except to sleep? If you want sunlight and view, you can certainly pay 2X for it across the street.

But there are restaurants on the beach right across the street from the hotel and their chairs and parasols are free if you drink and/or eat there.

Hi there. I actually rented a car when I went to the hotel, I am not sure about the shuttle service. II only stayed for one night, but the hotel is across the street from the beach, so I'd check with them directly about what is available. Depending on what type of shopping, a lot can be done just by walking.
