This boutique 8-room hotel is situated about 20 feet from the Caribbean sea, ensuring you will take multiple dips and enjoy the sound of breaking waves. Our room was perfect for a short stay and our host and hostess very welcoming. Highly recommend for a long weekend (or week long) escape to paradise as its a 7 minute drive to Intl airport. Rather than being annoying, the dozen or so planesThat land or take off daily are actually fun to watch overhead. Easy to walk to the local supermarket, fancy restaurants and friendly beachfront bar/restaurants nearby.
Fabulous Bach Hotel. Mike and Fawnette and family and staff have created a unique micro environment in an otherwise busy part of Sint Maarten. The Hotel has fully recovered from 2017 and is adding some space on a new top floor. In a residential district it requires NO effort to be on the beach eat at two local restaurants, and a local bar, also on the beach - and never leave the sand. For those wanting a break and no hot tarmac strips, this lovely place is accessible via a six minute cab from the airport. There are kitchenettes in each unit and stores five minutes away. If you want the nightlife you can walk to it. Do not be put off by the adjacency to the airport....ten planes a day and it is really not disruptive. Great for kids and bucket and spade holidays as it is so accessible, a secret in Simpson Bay…
Very nice boutique hotel in the heart of Simpson bay, big comfortable bed, room has a safe nice bathroom.water front room,Small kitchen but has everything you need, owners are super nice and the rooms are very clean and you cannot beat the location, Within walking distance of all the great restaurants on symptom bag
This is the perfect little boutique hotel, and you cannot get any closer to the beach than here on the happy island of St Maarten! The views are incredible, it's quiet and cozy, and Mike and his wife go above to make you feel right at home, no matter how long your stay. If you prefer the peace and tranquility of a smaller hotel, and not the crowds of a mega-resort or timeshare, this is the place to be. Additionally, the fountains and turtle garden add a lovely touch, the rooms have fully equipped kitchens, and you are also just a few minutes drive from all the major restaurants, bars and attractions in Simpson Bay. So lay out on the white sandy beach, grab a rum punch, and jump in the cool turquoise waters because you will never want to leave!
Our 2nd trip to St. Maarten and our 2nd stay at Azure. MIke really takes care of you and works hard to make the stay the best. Since the place was more empty due to COVID, he put us in a beachside suite anyway. He helped arrange rental car - much simpler than the big companies. The location is wonderful - you can easily walk up the beach to Mary's Boon bar or into Simpson Bay for a large collection of great restaurants. If you want to return to some seclusion on the beach after a day of adventure this is the place
