I live in Saint Martin and from time to time I go over to the Sint Maarten side to get out of the house. If possible I stay at Alicia's Inn, which is nice, clean, safe and professional managed with friendly staff. The location is perfect. Back Street, 5 minutes by foot to the super market, less than 5 minutes to the amazing beach of Great Bay with beach chairs and umbrellas and the board walk with lots of restaurants and beach bars. Front Street is about 2 minutes by foot, where you can go shopping until your credit cards are melting.

We spent early February 2020 at Alicia's Inn on Saint Maarten. The rooms were clean; well managed front desk with self check in at night. The location was ideal for shopping, museums, waterfront, and dining purposes. Breakfast options nearby were fun to try out and discover. We walked to a free parking lot every day for our rental car to explore the island.

I was pleasantly surprised by the space of the hotel room. Everything was clean and in great condition. Unbeatable location in the heart of downtown Phillipsburg. You are in walking distance of the Boardwalk, Front Street and Back Street which is full of shopping and restaurants. Also a short walk to the market where you can catch a mini bus to other parts of the island. I plan on staying here again!

I had the unfortunate luck of planning my trip to St Marten during the height of the coronavirus madness in mid March. My 2 week trip that started in Cyprus and was going to take me to Malta, Paris, St Marten and Amsterdam, started with a big bang. On 12th March upon arriving in Malta I was informed that all flights to France were cancelled due to the virus. Having a zillion issues to handle following the apparent cancellation of the whole trip, I found time to send an email to Alicias Inn kindly asking that they cancel my reservation as I would not be able to make it. Despite the fact that the cancellation period was over and they could charge me for one night accomodation, they cancelled my reservation without charging me anything. Thanks for being human and empathetic...your attitude shows a lot of respect to your customers. Hopefully one day I will make it to St Marten and I will be able to thank you face to face. All the best.

Dear Marcos, Thank you for writing your review despite the fact that we never had a chance to host you due to the pandemic. It is quite unfortunate that our guests are left with no choice but to cancel their trips, however, we absolutely value you all and that we totally understand that there are circumstances that we cannot control. In light with the current situation, please stay healthy and safe. We are definitely looking forward to your visit in the future. Best regards, Alicia’s Inn

We stayed at Alicia's Inn in January 2020 for three nights before boarding a cruise. The staff is friendly, our room was very clean and the location very convenient. The staff was also helpful with ideas for restaurants (try Chesterfield's). It's a very easy walk to the beach.
