Small local hotel (10 or 12 rooms) located in the heart of Phillipsburg, St. Maarten. Definitely not a slick resort -- you can "do" those at home! Arrived tired from a long red-eye flight, received a warm welcome, recommendation for a nearby restaurant -- open air, great food, locals place -- spotless room, great bed, perfect! Solo grey-haired female traveler felt perfectly safe in the neighborhood. Like everywhere I travel solo, I did make a point to be home before dark. I would definitely stay at Alicia's Inn again!!
I love it‼️ I love everything about it 🥳🥳 staff was amazing , the location was excellent everything was right there and even if it wasn’t right there admin made it easy for you 😃😃. We stayed for 3 nights on our way to the USA. The ladies of Alicia’s Inn went above and beyond to help us arrive safely and soundly in Philipsburg. The Inn itself is exceptionally clean and comfortable, with a great location only minutes walk from the beach and many delicious restaurants nearby. Room was well stocked with a fancy tv, coffee maker, microwave and mini fridge. AC in all rooms. I would only choose Alicia’s Inn for a great stay in Philipsburg. Thanks so much for everything.
I live in Saint Martin and from time to time I go over to the Sint Maarten side to get out of the house. If possible I stay at Alicia's Inn, which is nice, clean, safe and professional managed with friendly staff. The location is perfect. Back Street, 5 minutes by foot to the super market, less than 5 minutes to the amazing beach of Great Bay with beach chairs and umbrellas and the board walk with lots of restaurants and beach bars. Front Street is about 2 minutes by foot, where you can go shopping until your credit cards are melting.
We spent early February 2020 at Alicia's Inn on Saint Maarten. The rooms were clean; well managed front desk with self check in at night. The location was ideal for shopping, museums, waterfront, and dining purposes. Breakfast options nearby were fun to try out and discover. We walked to a free parking lot every day for our rental car to explore the island.
