We loved our stay at Horizon View! We had 8 travelers in our group and the hotel accommodated our needs. The location is great for dining in the area and ocean views. Our rooms were clean and as expected for the islands. Everyone in our group were very comfortable with the beds in their rooms. All interactions with the desk and staff were courteous and very easy. We will stay at Horizon View any time on St. Maarten in the future.

We stayed here at the end of august for several nights (5 people) and everything was there what we needed, spacious, with a great view. The staff would do their utmost for the guests. The price is excellent, we recommend the penthouse. All kinds of stores, beauty shops in Frontstreet, local food and little supermarkets around the Frontstreet. Great bay beach at the hotel with the nice boardwalk with lots of bars and restaurants (no noise). Marina for trips at walking distance. As a Backstreet girl in heart its a great location. We initially booked for one night prior to joining a cruise out of Philipsburg but enjoyed it so much that we booked in again for the two additional nights on the island post the cruise. The location couldn't be better for enjoying the lovely beach or for exploring Philipsburg. The rooms that we had (we were travelling as two couples) were perfect for what we required and were priced accordingly. The team on the front desk were extremely helpful and couldn't do enough for us. When trying to find the best way to get our Covid tests on a Sunday (all closed until Monday), prior to flying via Miami to the UK, they contacted a local clinic who came into the hotel to undertake the testing. That's what I call service. An unexpected surprise that made the extra days in St Maarten, a holiday in their own right.…

Karishma, the Front Desk Clerk, started my stay off with a warm smile and helped me with everything. I was travelling alone and she made check in and check out very easy. The Hotel itself in amazingly located right on the beach. I loved having my morning coffee watching the ocean, the cruise ships, and the people on the boardwalk and beach. Just all in all a great experience.

Uhhh pretty old & worn hotel read reviews reception on 2nd level. Ok for one night. The room was warm and window to beach had metal shutters closed so it looked like a wall. Checkin was efficient and when we asked about the panasonic Split units the fella came right up and helped immediately. The room is sad, view is amazing, great walkability and close to cruise terminal. Its $10 taxi ride to port. King bed is adequate but pillows hard. There are 2 TVS in room 202, tiny bath but shower clean and water pressure fine.

I stayed one night between flights. The room was spacious and clean. I asked for quiet room and got one. Big confortable bed. Super friendly staff. It is really close to the great bay ferry terminal. Beach is 1min away and there are plenty of restaurants around. I really aporeciated it and booke it again for another night between flights on my way back

Great property. Hospitable and friendly staff. Large clean and quiet room with full kitchen, good quality towels and sheets, quiet and efficient AC. A few things to note: location is on the beach/boardwalk, but the hotel is not facing the beach exactly - you get out on a side street, but it’s only a few steps from the boardwalk. The reception is not on the ground level - you need to take an elevator up. It’s about 25 min (US$ 20) taxi ride from the airport, but it can get longer with the afternoon traffic.

This hotel is in a great location downtown SXM great location. Probably would not rebook..I like comfort of ice in room or ice machine. No restaurant in house and limited service. The folks were polite at check in to us. I honestly not sure the vacation vibe of this hotel. It has no real feeling of being on beach front property.

The location of this hotel was the best!!! Price was also very good and the people that worked here were great. The downside was the room was very rundown and we thought we had a balcony but only a slider. The beach was beautiful and many good restaurants for a short walk.
