Absolutely love the Belair! Although not a fancy hotel, the staff and the location are better than any fancy hotel. I have returned every year for over 20 years. I even bring other family members and friends. This year they helped my family celebrate two engagements and went above and beyond in how they handled them. Although the kitchen is small, Its ample and I am not looking to cook a gourmet meal. You are assigned your own beach chairs for the entire stay. So, no need to get up early and claim them for the day. Beach attendants are wonderful and work very hard. They have a amazing barbeque on Monday nights with entertainment. Gingerbread restaurant is on site and is very good. Happy hour every night with a wonderful staff including Bradley and Dwayne. Beach is usually very calm, and there is rarely seaweed on the sand unlike other beaches in Sint Maarten. There is a store onsite that carries just about anything you need. I utilize a service where they grocery shop for me ahead of time. So, the owner Neelu, communicates with me ahead of my arrival. She is amazing. My units are stocked when I arrive, beer, wine, snacks, whatever you want. That means you are on vacation from the time you check in. Just put your bathing suit on, poor a drink, and go to the beach. Car rental is also onsite, and they meet you at the airport when you land. This is a hidden gem.

Older resort but the beach is awesome and the workers are amazing. Will definitely try to trade in here again. The little store is well stocked and prices are reasonable. The Gingerbread Cafe has great breakfast and a decent evening .enu. The Divi next door has more food options. The pool is kept open late and we enjoyed after dinner floats.

The facility is nice, but dated. There are few outlets, but they are ready for US style plugs. The beach was beautiful and the staff very friendly and helpful. The attached Gingerbread Cafe is good. The happy hour specials were a daily treat. The food is good for nights you don't feel like going out.

The resort was very nice. The people that worked there were vey friendly and helpful for any questions or anything you needed. We ate the resort most of the time since we didn't have a car. The food was good and very fresh. My favorite was the mahi-mahi ad the red snapper. The rooms were clean and they take trash out every day, in addition to housekeeping once a week. The beach was lovely and they give you lounges, beach chairs and noodles for floating, specifically with your room number on them. August is off-season, so it wasn't crowded at all. I would definitely go back again.

As different people have different views, we all want different things out of our vacations. Our heaven on earth is St. Martin and Belair Beach Hotel. The staff is consistent, the beach is quiet and usually calm, the restaurant is excellent, we walk out of our rooms and onto the sand. We love the quiet and peace that we have here.

A great place to stay with a awesome beach. The staff were very friendly and the room was good for a family of 5. The events that they hosted were fun and the location of the resort is ideal, just between the Dutch and French sides of the island.

I browsed several stays before booking this one and I'm glad I did. Yes the resort is mildly outdated when it comes to others on the island but the the size and view from this resort is worth it alone. When you walk through the doors you are greeted with ocean views. The room had all we needed to share meals in house and when we wanted to grab something else having Gingerbread Cafe at the resort was amazing. We eat out a lot and let me save you some time when staying here. We tried many high end restaurants on the island many which were pricey but i promise you will not find better food at Gingerbread Cafe. The steaks and BBQ ribs were the best on the island (I'm from Texas so I know my steak and bbq lol) The breakfast is amazing and you will not break the bank eating at the resort. There a market named Carrefour Market about 5 minutes away to grab anything you may need for you room. Many of the prices of this market were comparable to what we pay at home and they have everything you need. There is a small market at the resort which is perfect for grabbing items as well..Eggs...bacon....water..snacks and sodas. The Belair Market also rents/sells snorkel gear and boogie boards as well as other water items. There is a laundry room on the 4th floor and you get tokens to use them from the front desk. The beach was beautiful and almost private to the resort. Having your own assigned beach chairs and umbrellas ready for you ever morning can not be beat. Do yourself a favor and stay here.

Great location, fantastic beach, lovely views and accessibility to beach from your room. Decent on site restaurant and mini mart. It was a real feeling of being on a relaxing Caribbean vacation. Only little problem was mosquitos form teh garden area but once you applied repellant, it was fine.
