The resort is located on 27 lush acres near the rain forest and what is now a world heritage site. It is therefore secluded yet in the heart of all of St.Lucia's natural attractions like the open volcano, botanical gardens, rain forest, waterfalls, and other fine dining to enhance your experience of the island's local flavour. It captures the famous Petit Piton and Caribbean sea. Its villas have an open air design with 4 poster beds, hammocks, private garden showers and private pools. This resort was rated the number 1 resort in Soufriere by discriminating travelers - TripAdvisor. Please note that all guests at Stonefield must be 18 and over.

For our first visit to St. Lucia, we did a lot of research on different resorts and properties. I am so glad we chose Stonefield Villa. The stay was flawless, from the taxi service they arranged to pick us up from the airport to our arranged ride back when we left. Speaking of leaving, we had a hard time leaving. That sounds funny but we extended our stay twice because it was hard to leave this heavenly place. You may read of the majestic views, great staff, delicious food, and beautiful villas, but it is something else to experience in person. YOU MUST GO AND SEE FOR YOURSELF!!!! I was in awe just entering the property to see the very well beautifully kept grounds and gorgeous fruit trees. Our travel dates were not available when we tried to book online, so I worked with Sadia in the office and she helped finalize our villas for the days we planned for. Yes, I said villas (plural) because we had the supreme pleasure of staying in three different villas. That in itself was an amazing experience because each villa gave something different. Our jaws dropped each time we entered one. Neither of them was exactly alike. One had garden and ocean views, One had Ocean and Piton views, one had garden, Piton, and ocean views. Even outdoor showers were different in each. The food was amazing. We enjoyed a cooking class with Chef Roy. They also had live entertainment on some nights. If you love taking pictures, this whole place is a professional backdrop. The staff treated us like family. We got to know them by name as they were not bothered by our many questions and requests as we tried to make our anniversary trip a memorable one and navigate through different excursions. We love to travel and have stayed in many resorts and hotels. For the first time, we had an owner personally welcome us. On more than one occasion, Anista Brown approached us and held intriguing conversations. She did not boast the fact that she was the owner of this beautiful resort so we did not realize who she was until well into our first conversation when we started to probe and ask about her. Paul, the resort manager went above and beyond to assure that we were able to extend our stay even though it meant moving to a different villa each time, but we loved it. We want to send a very special THANK YOU to the following people for making our stay memorable. Drivers Kenyon, Sean, and Matthew, Chefs Roy and Enrique, Gardeners Donovan & Sebastian (They are so knowledgeable so make sure you see them if you want to be pointed to some amazing fruit trees), Daniel and Andrea in Housekeeping, Electrician Winston, Waitress Marie and the entire staff at Mango Tree, and to the many others whose names escape us right now. Thank you all for this amazing experience. We will be back soon. May you all be blessed!

What can we say...Stonefield was everything that we wanted and needed our honeymoon to be! First and foremost we want to thank Stonefield for their flexibility. We were originally supposed to travel in September, however a very active Atlantic storm season had us looking down the barrel of a full week of rain and wind, with the possibility of a hurricane. After chatting with us Stonefield allowed us to rebook any time in the next 12 months with no penalty! So we chose January and the choice was PERFECT. Stonefield is a romantic, relaxing paradise. Despite being a resort property our personal villa left us feeling completely secluded, as if we had a rainforest all to ourselves. The privacy was calming and relaxing and made just hanging around our villa a treat in itself. The villa itself was well put together, with our own "plunge" pool for floating or cooling off whenever we wanted - and the pool even had colored lights for night swimming! The hammock and porch furniture were perfect for relaxing and having a morning cup of coffee, or just taking a breather. The bed in the villa was huge and quite comfortable - and there was plenty of storage and bathroom space to make the villa complete. And the outdoor shower was so wonderful! Nothing like getting clean and taking in the tropical sun at the same time. As for the rest of the resort they have it gorgeously tucked away within the forest. There is a nice short walking path through the rainforest to the Ancient Petroglyphs that are represented in Stonefields logo. Then it is a very short distance to their on-site farm that provides all of the fruits and vegetables served at their restaurant, The Mango Tree. Personally, we loved The Mango Tree. There are breathtaking views of the Pitons and the Caribbean Sea - an absolutely wonderful place to take in a meal (and a sunset!) We booked our stay with an all-inclusive package that allowed us to eat and drink to our hearts desire the entire stay. All of the menus have a wide variety of food to choose from, allowing a little something for everybody. They also did a good job of updating certain parts of the menus throughout the week so that the options felt stale. We definitely doubled-up on some items throughout the week but that was only because they were so delicious! Finally, the excursions offered by Stonefield are definitely worthwhile! We highly recommend the Tet Paul Trail, the Sunset Cruise and taking advantage of their numerous shuttles to some of the best beaches on the island! One GREAT tip that several people at Stonefield gave us is that there are NO PRIVATE BEACHES on St. Lucia. So if you choose to spend a day at the nearby Sugar Beach or up at Anse Chastenet do NOT let their employees tell you otherwise! They can charge for their beach chairs but not the beach itself!. The only hiccup we could find with their tours was in the Sulfur Spring tour. While the tour is definitely worthwhile ( very informative and ends with a healthy mud-bath near the springs) it is billed to have "bubbling pools of lava", which is not the case. St. Lucia's volcano is a caldera, with lava only existing below the earths crust. What do you do is bubbling sulfuric mud pools. Interesting in their own right, but we were a little bummed after we thought there would be lava. We suggest a quick edit to Stonefield's on-site list just to prevent future confusion! All-in-all, a VERY minor blip on what was the perfect honeymoon. Many thanks to the Stonefield team! We'll be back as soon as possible!

We went to Stonefield for our honeymoon and purchased their all-inclusive package. While the room was beautiful, and the views were stunning, but I would recommend staying elsewhere in St. Lucia. We spent $5,000 for a week. The service was horrendous. There was no communication about what was and was not included in our all-inclusive plan (we were often billed for things like coffee after the fact because we were not informed it was not included). It was like pulling teeth to get drinks (that were included in our package), room service is an extra charge. The receptionist was incredibly rude and would not communicate when we were able to get our COVID tests (required for our trip home). We asked several days in a row and would be told different things by different staff members (the doctor only works Saturdays, the doctor never works Saturdays, we may not be able to get you a test because we have 16 other people that need it, we will let you know when we hear from the doctor, etc.). This lapse in communication only worsened throughout our stay. We had an early morning excursion and were told by reception to go to breakfast when the restaurant first opened and we would have time to eat before our tour, they informed us we did NOT need to pre-order breakfast. Upon arriving at the restaurant that morning, we were scolded for not pre-ordering breakfast. When we spoke with reception about our concerns, they told us they would get back to us and they never did. We asked to speak with management on multiple occasions, and reception ignored our requests and would basically just start talking about other things. Reception lied to us about what was open after COVID, and we later found out from local Taxi drivers that tours they were telling us were closed were in fact open. So we missed out on a lot that we wished we could have done. The food was garbage. Completely flavorless. Dinner takes a minimum of 1.5 hours so be prepared. Overall, St. Lucia is a beautiful country, but this is NOT the resort to choose!

We are very sorry that your stay with us was less than what you expected. We have investigated this in great detail and while I would like to address all your statements I think that your accusation of staff being liars and our food being garbage makes it clear that any feedback from us would be pointless. To that end, I would ask anyone reading this who would like some feedback, to contact the resort and request this from management. I wish you only beautiful memories from your future travels. Please be safe and thank you for your visit.

This was a 2 day staycation and was truly magical. I feel completely rejuvenated! It is hard to put into words the magic and serenity of Stonefield Villa Resort as it is an experience of nature, peace, tranquility, spiritualty and beauty. It emanates Mother Nature's true depiction of Heaven on Earth! This was just the feeling of being on the property. Aside from that, the other great experiences were the staff. They were amazing, extremely accommodating and oh so professional and friendly. The rooms were spacious and were equipped with everything I could possibly need. My favorite part of this trip was dining at the Mango Tree Restaurant. OMG what an magnificent view! Dining with the Piton right in front of me was simply incredible. All meals at the restaurant were delicious. In fact on the night of arrival I ordered the steak and the next morning woke up craving it as it was so tasty. This is a MUST DO on your bucket list! If you love nature and scenic beauty then this is the place to be!

There are so many resorts in St. Lucia it’s hard to choose! Because this part of the island is so touristy, I don’t think you can go wrong with any resort - however, our stay here was perfection and I’m so happy we booked it! The views are beautiful, the property itself is well kept and has so much to offer and the staff were incredible! I was very sun burnt after a day at the beach followed by snorkeling - I asked reception if they sold any aloe and someone literally went into their garden and brought me an entire aloe leaf. Very accommodating and authentic! The food was delicious and everything they served was local! We went during mango season so you can only imagine! The menu changed every other day which helped with variety - I was worried about eating the same thing everyday (which would kill me) but they have several dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner...you will be satisfied! We had our own private pool which was a game changer. It was my favorite part! The views surrounding the pool made you feel like one of the luckiest people alive - surreal and therapeutic. The ONLY thing I will mention with our villa is the shower was outside. This was a bit of a surprise and I don’t like surprises. I don’t remember reading that anywhere (I could have missed it) and I don’t know if this is how it is for all the villas or not. BUT, I ended up being really happy about it - I’ve never experienced an outdoor shower in a tropical place! It honestly made the experience better! Definitely recommend this respite :)
