Travelled with my friend and our kids and we had a great weekend. From check in, the staff was pleasant, our room was a bit far from the dining room and pool but it was cozy and comfortable with a great view. The meals were tasty and the drinks was overflowing (lol). The resort was close to shopping/malls which was great and the pool and beach was just what we needed. All in all, our weekend was without a doubt, exactly what we needed.
We got the all inclusive package and were not interested in big resorts. This resort felt like home. The food was local and very very tasty, also alot of quantity. We really liked the breakfast buffet and people. Loved the fact we could exchange CAD to ECEs at the resort for a great rate. The drinks were also very nice, and as a canadian, i realy liked that they would make cesaers and red eyes. Everyone was so kind. It is just a few minutes from the buses which were also a hoot. They had very reasonable prices and we felt safe where we were and exploring the cities. Most nights we were tired from exploring the island, amd we got a great sleep here because there were no super loud or late night shows. Loved the ocean and ocean activities. The bingo was also fun during the day. Resort was quaint and modest and all we needed. The church St. Joseph, a Catholic church that can be accessed by bus or taxi, was a beautiful mass and we'll worth our time.…
Really enjoyed our stay, very friendly staff, great location and lots of food. The location is ideal for beach, tours and shopping. Had a lovely sea view, cozy room with refrigerator. With our all inclusive package all water sports was included which we enjoyed Will definitely visit again.
Perfect beach location, large pool, great entertainment day and night, rooms are dated but clean, all inclusive is ok for drinks, food is good quality but very limited. Bar and restaurant staff are great. Reception staff dismissive, rude. Manager arrogant. Not good value for money.
The Rex Resorts are fabulous. The clientele is roughly 40% English 40% Canadian and 20% locals. Everyone just wants to chat and socialise and for single travellers it is a must as you will not be on your own for long as everyone mixes and joins in like one huge family. We now have Canadian friends that have visited us for a fortnight and whom we email back and fro every week . The food was good, drinks flowed and the good times rolled .
