Our boutique hotel is unique in its own way. The spacious suits allow the guest to relax and inspire. Each suite is over 70 square meters and is decorated with various artifacts from all over the world. Our room rates are fixed for the whole year. We do not have increased high season prices. There are a few places and experiences I hold dear to my heart, Saba, Selera Dunia, Hemmie and Jenny, as my Christmas 2022 is at the top. Hemmie was welcoming from our first communication, and we even met on St. Maarten as we took the ferry to Saba together, he offered to drop me off to collect my rental. Travelling as a solo mum with a toddler that was most appreciated. Selera Dunia is located on the Windward side, close to everything, the bakery, restaurants, supermarket, the church, museum, hiking trails etc. We had a charming spacious room decorated with an Indonesian theme (just as seen in the pictures). The room was comfortable, with a lovely view of the mountains and ocean. I felt safe at all times with my daughter, and she enjoyed feeding the fishes and rabbits with Hemmie and Jenny. Sharing Christmas morning breakfast with this lovely couple was a treat, and will forever be one of my fondest travel memories.

Hennie and Jenny were awesome, from checking in to making breakfast and helping in any way they can. It has a great view over the valley and of mount scenery. Supermarket close by, bars and restaurants close by. Would definitely stay there again with my next visit.

Hemmy and Jenny were the best hosts anyone could ask for. Everything from accommodations to breakfast was better than expected. The room was always tidy and yet we always had privacy. The view of Mount Scenery was magnificent and worth every penny. When we return, we will stay at Salera Dunia. (Unless we move to Saba first!)

I still cannot get over the perfection of our stay at Selera Dunia. The pictures and reviews had me beyond excited to be in Saba and at Selera Dunia and my expectations were wildly exceeded. From the room and THAT VIEW to your hosts Hemmie and Yenny we had the most enjoyable stay! Note1: To get THAT VIEW you will be up the side of a mountain which we walked. If you are not given to walking that much, there are taxis or rent a car. Note2: If you are a solo traveler, Saba in general is very safe. Your hosts at Selera Dunia are very congenial and any chat with Hemmie is wonderful. We sat out on the community deck, looking out on Mount Scenery, and talked life with him for about an hour. Very enjoyable.

Hemmie and Jenny are the perfect hosts for the perfect location. From a home-cooked Indonesian meal, to hand-crafted clothing and gifts, customized breakfasts, friendly car lifts to and from the town this is our new "permanent vacation home". Hemmie and Jenny are compassionate, enthusiastic, knowledgable and care about the humanity of their guests. Thank you for your friendship and hospitality. Ajay and Joan

What a wonderful stay in a beautiful place with the friendliest host. Saba is such a breathtakingly lovely place....with views through Windwardside and all the way to the airport. Loved hearing Percy's conch blowing . Big spacious room and bed, breezes all day long through the room, and a delicious breakfast served in our room. Thank you Jenny, loved our stay. Luke and Debby

My daughter and i stayed there for 4 nights, Best place by far to stay in Saba, in windward, and close to all amenities, Hemmie knows everybody and folks has huge respect for him Place is in top of hill, so all rooms has huge balcony with -perfect view to mount scenery, Windward and Airport(you can see landing and take off) We stayed in Indonesian room which is decorated nicely, it is a big room, well-furnished and has everything you need Shared area also well designed and beautiful Hemmie is going beyond for his guests, I don’t want to go in detail to what he did for us to not to create expectation for you but he is very friendly and pass his honest opinion and make sure you enjoying your stay Hamid

Selena Dunia is tucked away yet close to the windward action. My husband and I loved it here. We were delighted to be welcomed by Hemmie who is an excellent host. He was cheerful, informative and pleasantly assisted in every capacity. It is a treat to not have to venture out in search of breakfast and instead be served at your desired time. The room is especially spacious (space to do yoga for two) and unique. It is terrific to be able to walk away, doors unlocked and sleep unharassed by insects with the large French doors open. We felt like we were in paradise and smiled like giddy children to wake up and watch the clouds go by, hiding and then revealing the beauty of Mount Scenery and views of the village below. All in all, I know where I would be staying if I return to Saba. Thanks, Hemmie! You are wonderful.
