If you like diving, Scout's Place (and Saba Divers) is the a real nice an relaxed place to be. The several dive-spots are beautiful! Lot's of fish, coral and colors. Dive masters are good company and skilled. The hotel is about 400m above sea level, taxi to the shore is included and well organised. Dining at the restaurant is perfect....

We stayed at Scout's Place for two nights the end of June after staying a week on St. Maarten/St. Martin. The hospitality at Scout's Place was amazing. Wolfgang, the owner, did everything to make sure we had an enjoyable experience. He is the chef as well, and the food is quite tasty. The room was very clean, and the temperate...

We are proud of our staff. The kitchen ladies from all over the Caribbean, do a fantastic job by creating Caribbean dishes and other nice things, the bartenders and waiters are personalities and good at their job, the office management has the overview and comes up with a great service and foresight and the dive staff is just phanomenal. Three nights in Saba to dive and hike: Scout's Place turned out to be the perfect base. It's in the middle of Windwardside, steps to two grocery stores, several restaurants, craft shops, the nature reserve office and the beginning of the Mt. Scenery steps; there was even a RBC Royal Bank ATM across the street. The trails are well marked,...

My wife & I recently stayed at Scout's Place. After one night on St. Maarten, Saba was a breath of fresh air. The locals are friendlier, the food is delicious, and if you like to hike (instead of basking on a beach) it is the perfect getaway. I'm glad we chose Scout's Place in Windward Side. The owners, Wolfgang and...

My fiance and I were staying on Saint Martin and had decided to take a day trip to Saba. After a short flight on a small WinAir plane, we landed on the beautiful island of Saba. After passing through the small airport, we were greeted by a very tall man who asked us if we needed a taxi. The man's...

I stayed at Scout's Place after my client recommended this property. It's a little reverse as I am a travel agent but I sent her here and she loved it. I was in Saba for two days. Scout's Place on Saba has great local ambiance, good food, and they take special personal attention to every detail! While travelling to Saba with 20 high-school students, we were stranded by bad weather for a day/night, and the Scout's Place staff really looked out for us! Reasonable prices as well, I highly recommend Scout's Place!
