Absolutely awful. Very unkempt and poorly managed. Needs landscaping as the rainforest is taking over. Lacks screens on Windows resulting in a large bug infiltration each day and night. Standing water in shower with breeding mosquitos. No soap in the bathroom. No access to drinking water. Ants crawling all over toilet!!! It was so disgusting we cancelled our stay, at... More

Dear Juls, El Momo Cottages was clearly not the place for you. Thankfully you found another place on the island that suited you better; obviously as you pay triple the amount as what you would pay for El Momo, you will have more amenities. We try our utmost to explain to our guests what they can expect. In our messages... More

My husband and I flew over to Saba for the day from St. Martin to hike Mt. Scenery. After the hike and going out for some lunch, and touring the area, we headed back to the airport. Unfortunately, the weather was not cooperating, and it was too windy to fly. With no extra clothes, little in the way of cash,... More

I just returned from a very relaxing break on Saba were I went diving and hiking. I stayed at El Momo Cottages. This was a great choice as I was on a budget. The hotel was very decent with good rooms and bathrooms. The best thing of it all were the views they were AMAZING. My private little balcony area... More

We had a wonderful stay at El Momo. The views are amazing and it is a very peaceful place to stay. If you don't mind a little exercise the town is a short walk away where you can find restaurants and supermarkets. Andries was a fantastic host. He was friendly, helpful and prepared a lovely dinner for the guests one... More

I discovered Saba and El Momo 5 years ago a bit randomly as I was looking for an ''excusrsion'' during a St-Maarten stay... and what do you know, I have returned to Saba every year ever since. The island and its inhabitants are a treat in and of themselves. Everybody is nice all the time and the landscapes are surprisingly... More

This is not a hotel; it is misrepresented, everything is in poor and in a dilapidated state and it is not suitable to be a legitimate tourist facility. None of the areas presented in the official website are real or accurate. The manager/owner of the "hotel" is a rude and disrespectful man that obviously is there for the easy money;... More

Dear guest, You made it very clear that El Momo Cottages was not what you were looking for. That is rather unfortunate. I'm convinced that both the pictures and the description of El Momo Cottage on our own and various other websites give a clear image of what it's like: a small budget minded accommodation surrounded by nature. Plenty visitors... More

This is my second time here and I have to admit that I really love it, this is the ZEN kind of place with breathtaking views, basic facilities and good service. El Momo is a budget aternative for nature lovers. The manager Andries was very nice and did everything to make our 14 days with them great.

Lovely, quiet cottages just outside (but within walking distance) from Windwardside in Saba. Really gives the feel of being in nature. Owner Andries gives a friendly, personal service. I stayed in the cottage in the sky. This is quite a climb (as is actually the whole place) but for me worth the view. Room, small kitchen and shower were fine.

We went to Saba last year for five days, we did not dive but we went hiking. We booked at el momo cottage because of the reviews of tripadvisor, we loved it, I loved it, I miss it soooo much, yes it was a little challenging to walk up the stairs to the cottage, but that was nothing compared to...
