It is ideal for couple, businessmen and women to get some rest and distractions.
My wife and I visited La Pagerie for nine days. The location of the hotel is really good. Quiet area, large park-like pool area. The rooms are spacious and clean. Restaurant Le Pitaya offers a high-quality and tasty dinner. The restaurant's menu was the same throughout the week, but this didn't matter because there were numerous other restaurants in the Creole village right next door. The service in the hotel is absolutely top class even though we didn't speak French other than "Bonjour". The staff always welcomed us kindly and gave us advice on getting to know the island. Special thanks to the bartenders at Tropical Café and Palm Bar. Ti Punch, Planter's Punch and aromatic rums became familiar. There are two sandy beaches about a five-minute walk away. The car rental is across the street. You can take a water bus to the capital Fort-de-France, a round trip cost only €7. If we ever visit Martinique again, we know where to stay.…
Another Great stay at this hotel . Great front desk staff , very friendly all spoke English. Room clean and the ac was fantastic. Breakfast was good with plenty choice of both continental and cooked . Scrambled eggs where fantastic. Best hotel in Martinique in my opinion.
When we checked in in the evening, the air conditioning in our first room 505, didn't work. The technician tried his best but said we have to change rooms. We had to wait 1hour in the hot room until they changed us to a new room. The next day we wanted to enjoy the afternoon at the pool. however, the garden and renovations were in full swing. A whole tree was dismembered with a chainsaw. After politely asking if they could stop working, no response from management. The gardeners only stopped after the tree had been sawn up. Relaxing by the pool looks different in a 4* hotel. We wanted to order a small lunch at 2:45 p.m. at first it said the the kitchen is already closed but athe menue it said it closes at 3pm. After we were able to order something, instead of caesar salad with chicken, I got caesar salad with shrimps. The chainsaw was still running in the background. A stay and hospitality in a 4* hotel definitely looks different. Let's see how the next 48h will be.…
Excellent location for SCUBA diving, ferry to Fort de France behind hotel, multiple restaurants in the Creole village, two car rental agencies next door, good size pool, large rooms, Sea Doo rentals within walking distance
As usual, a very nice stay. The place is very convenient, the service is top, rooms are spacious and confortable. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the restaurant upscale. That's not my first time there and i will probably come back again.
My wife and I spent a week at La Pagerie at the end of May, 2022, which was the beginning of the low season. We enjoyed our stay there very much. Transportation by taxi from the airport was arranged by the hotel at our request. On our arrival, everything relating to our reservation was in order. We registered and got the keys to our room very quickly. The staff members at the front desk were very friendly and efficient. My wife speaks excellent French, I, only a little and badly, but we could have checked in entirely in English if we had chosen to do so. Other staff members are less fluent in English but all are helpful. Our room was on the third floor and faced the street. A business complex of shops and restaurants was across the road. Noise was not a problem. The sliding glass door to the balcony blocked most sound and the operation of the very good air conditioner masked the rest. The room was spotless, nicely decorated and in excellent repair. There was ample hot water and excellent water pressure. The bed was very comfortable. A minor issue was that the bathroom lacked a ventilating fan and steam from the shower took time to clear. We went to the hotel restaurant every morning for the breakfast buffet and once for dinner. Breakfasts were a highlight of our stay. The selection of food items was extensive and of high quality. It was a joy to be seated by the beautiful garden, feeling the warm, fresh air and watching the birds and occasional small lizard. The dinner we had at the restaurant was very good too. The chef accommodated my wife, who is a vegetarian, by preparing something special but having regular vegetarian options would have been appreciated. The pool was beautifully lit at night and it and pool area were very well maintained. The garden was large and had a remarkable variety of plants. It was lovely to spend time in it. Shops, restaurants, beaches and the ferry to Fort-de-France are within easy walking distance. A car is essential if you want to explore the island. There are several car rental agencies within steps of the hotel. The hotel has a small parking lot with spaces for about a dozen vehicles but, considering that the hotel has 95 rooms, the chances of finding a spot there are slim. Finding parking on nearby streets also can be very difficult.…
This hotel has a 'tropical garden' as its interior courtyard. The restaurant is excellent. The room is clean and attractive. The hotel is located in a busy little tourist village with a lot of tourist shops.
Hotel La Pagerie is centrally located in Tres Islet, best part of Martinique to stay as closer to most beautyful beaches. Within a walking distance you get to local Pont du Bou Marina, from where several exciting excursions depart and where it's easy to find a boat; moreover, just in front of the hotel there's the very nice Creol Village, full of typical shops, bars and restaurant offering the best of local heritage in terms of foof, beverages and handicrafts. Rooms are very spacious and comfortable, central pool and bar very nice and staff efficient and friendly. A special mention to Alessia, who has been unreplaceable in making our vacation perfect, providing promptly to all our necessities.
We stayed here for three days at the end of our trip. A most pleasant experience. Kevin at reception (hopefully I have his name correct!) greeted us and was extremely friendly and helpful, with a lovely manner, indicative of the way that we felt we were treated by all the staff we encountered at the hotel. Perhaps it was because of when we visited but we found the place very quiet and therefore exactly what we wanted. It was easy to relax. Our room was very clean and spacious; the bed was beyond comfortable; the AC was perfect, and the shower excellent. There was also a large wardrobe and an iron and ironing board. The WIFI was strong. The hotel seemed to very much respect the COVID regulations: at breakfast we were greeted by a member of staff who escorted us around the buffet and filled up our plates for us. Each arriving guest was treated the same way, ensuring that surfaces were touched a minimum amount of times and only by staff wearing masks. Both women who were working there that morning were calm and friendly. We'd like to say a special thanks to Marion who was at the pool bar when we ate lunch there (order the fish burger - it is amazing!): she was extremely pleasant and helpful. The location of this place is great: you are close to the Creole Village. Yes it's touristy but if convenient bars, shops and restaurants are what you're after then it's perfect. You are also a stone's throw from the beach so it makes it easy to plan your days and excursions without having to worry about finding spots to eat. Overall, a great experience and a hotel I would consider returning to in a heartbeat. Big, big thank you again to all the staff: they made the trip for us. A smile, a pleasant hello - both make such a difference and they did, in this case, to us. In a time of limited contact and worldwide hardship, friendliness seems to count for even more than it did before :) Please pass on our thank yous.…
We stayed at the hotel for 6 nights and greatly enjoyed our time in Trois Islets. Spoilt for choice for food , drink and shopping. Best meal was having a pierrade bringing back happy memories of 30 years ago in the French Alps. Lots to do beaches, cheap ferry ride to Fort de France, a much better capital than we expected. You need a car to get the best out of this beautiful island Botanical Gardens. Mt Pelee and the atmospheric old capital of St Pierre.
