The Tropical Guest House is conveniently located in Isabel Segunda, on the north side of the island. We are walking distance to the ferry, the historical fort/museum, restaurants, and everything "town" has to offer. All of the best beaches are only a few minutes drive away. All rooms in the guesthouse have private baths, A/C and TV. Relax in the TGH lounge or embrace nature in our lush garden. Free Wi-Fi and free parking. One night stays are welcomed.

Staying here was amazing! Joe and Maria are seasoned veterans who care about their guests. Everything about the Tropical Guest House was in order and we had no problems. I would absolutely stay there again when I go back to Vieques island. I would recommend if you stay here (or really anywhere on Vieques) that you rent some form of transportation.

Joe and Maria were absolute genuinely kind and thoughtful hosts. Joe always greeted us in the morning with the BEST espresso coffee we had ever enjoyed in our lives. Joe also was conscientious of our shy boys and always engaged them in conversation. There were many laughs to be had. They had noticed that our boys had sunburns and immediately ran and got their own aloe and gave it to us for them to use. Maria may sure to let us know where all the best sites to see on this beautiful island. She even got out of map and circled each place for us and made sure that we knew how to get there. The backyard was a piece of paradise. There were so many different glorious fruit trees. We didn’t want to leave. We look forward to coming back. <3

I didn’t get to go as I got stuck in Europe due to the COVID-19 outbreak but I still wanted to leave a very positive review to Maria and Joe as they were very understanding of the circumstances that prevented me and my friend from going and didn’t charge us at all. I hate to see an outbreak like this affect small and honest businesses like this so the least I could was a review! Hopefully I still get to visite their guest house one day! Good luck everyone and stay safe!

Awesome place to stay! The owners are great people, friendly, and very accommodating! AC is cold, private entry and lock on doors, very convenient bar downstairs too.. I will def stay here again! This was my first experience staying in a guesthouse type space, so I wasn’t sure what to expect, especially after the hurricane. It exceeded my expectations by far and I am leaving this review a year later bc I would go back just for this place and the quiet beaches!

We had such a good time staying at this place. The penger would make us coffee in the morning and chat about life. The couple that runs the place are both super nice and would help you with everything. Rooms were cleaned every day and standard was good. The bar downstairs is a nice place to have a bear or a cocktail.

The hosts are phenomenal people! They were so kind and helpful, we felt like we were staying with friends. It’s a great location close to several tasty restaurants and other convenient shops. They helped us get taxis, choose beaches and restaurants, and more! The room was sparkling clean with strong AC and the downstairs has a cute bar that would be good for events. Definitely recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tropical Guest House! Maria & Joe work very hard to make their hotel a comfortable and laid back place to stay while visiting Vieques. Although this place isn't the fanciest - my boyfriend and I were incredibly satisfied with our room since it was cozy and sparkling clean. Maria went out of her way to help us secure a golf cart on the island and even a taxi ride back in Ceiba, and Joe makes a great cafe con leche in the morning. If you are visiting Puerto Rico - a stop in Vieques to experience the gorgeous secret beaches and magnificent bioluminescent beauty of Mosquito Bay is an absolute must!!

We had such a wonderful and amazing time. The owners: Maria & Joe are the most amazing, attentive, cool, pleasant, helpful and super friendly people. Joe and Maria helped us experience Vieques as a local. They are such gracious, kind and super cool hosts that we would stay at this place anytime. They made our stay extremely pleasant and positive.

All I can say is WOW! It’s impossible not to feel at home here at the Tropical Guest House, the service here is impeccable. Joe and Maria make it the best experience from booking fun experiences, help with navigating the island and fun nights at the bar! Definitely a must stay when in vieques !!
