We stayed at Seagate and the service was great. It's managed by the owners and they are very friendly and dependable people. The rooms at the lower level are a little small, but the ones in the upper levels are a very good size and have all the comforts you are used to at home. Views from those rooms are... More

We are waking from our night at Sea Gate, and everyone agrees, it was a terrific sleep. We stayed in a cottage just a few yards from the main property. My daughters had the two day beds in the living room, my son the double in one bedroom, and my husband and I the king in a second bedroom. Being... More

This is not a luxury hotel but it is a lovely hotel. It is unique and very quaint. It sits mountaintop next to the Fort Museum with beautiful gardens, ocean views and consists of series of structures with rooms/suites. Most have balconies or patios. The rooms have great air-conditioning, nice linens and are very clean. Keep in mind this is... More

This property feels like a dream. It is a family owned property that was established in the late 1960's, you can feel the history when you walk around and it is charming. The one bedroom room was tastefully decorated and cozy.It had great fans, books, art and even a card that was filled with guest comments and praises. The hosts... More

We are delighted you found us to be just your cup of tea! Our motto is "you're home" Walk to town is 8+ minutes and it is a bit harder on way back up, the hill slows you down but its too long to walk across the island,6 miles. Car rentals are more reasonable than using taxi service especially for... More

I recently traveled to Vieques and stayed here. Penny, the owner is the perfect host. She went out of her way to make sure we had a car and gave us a small tour of the town. Breakfast was awesome, and the bedrooms cozy and clean. Super friendly staff. Thanks Peggy and staff for making our stay truly fantastic.

We went to Vieques for the day to do the biobay tour. I found this place online and it was exactly what I read on the reviews and saw on the pictures. It smelled like animals but it was very clean and the perfect spot to crash after the tour. We woke up at 5:00 and walked to the ferry... More

My only critique of the Seagate was that I had to leave! It is such a beautiful, welcoming, and calm place to stay on Vieques. Located near the ferry, I found myself feeling like I was living in the mountains with a sea view right next to one of the historic forts. The compound is beautiful, scenic, and the rooms... More

Our family needed a place to stay for an overnight visit in Vieques. Our cousin stayed at the Seagate Hotel before and suggested we stay there as well. I'm happy our cousin made the recommendation as we enjoyed the property! Since we were a party of 5, we rented the cottage. The cottage is a 2 bedroom with a kitchen.... More

Stay was excellent. Staff was just too friendly and helpful. Kelly and Penny were great. Kelly booked one activity for us same evening I called them about our arrival. Room was small but really clean and cozy. Only thing I didn't like as I'm a light sleeper was roosters started crowing at about 1:30AM. Other than that a must stay... More

This is a wonderful, small hotel on Vieques that has great views of the jungle and the ocean. it is close to the ferry dock on the island so getting around is very easy. The exterior porch complete with a day bed, hammock, tables, books, etc. is a really nice touch. My son had a great time swinging in the... More
