This is my second time here, as we loved this place so much the first time. This place is tranquil and elegant with spacious, clean and wonderfully decorated rooms - often featuring local artists. The pool is sublime and nothing beats sunsets on the roof deck. With a newly renovated kitchen and a new solar system this place is amazing.
I've vacationed at the Casa de Amistad for the past several years and each visit is better than the one before. The property is both beautiful and comfortable. John and Mike are great hosts, providing everything from a shared kitchen to towels, chairs, coolers and ice packs for the beach; a welcome space on patio, porch or roof for a drink; and recommendations for dining and adventures. I'm happily making plans for my next visit.
We LOVED our stay at Casa de Amistad. The house and rooms are quaint and beautiful; it's in a perfect location in downtown Isabelle II, and John & Mike are exceptionally warm and gracious hosts. They went out of their way to make sure we had all our needs met and provided great recommendations on everything from snorkeling spots to best dinning. Highly recommend!
This is the place to stay in Vieques! John and Mike have a beautiful hotel with a courtyard and pool that is walking distance to the ferry terminal and tons of bars, restaurants and activities. They took time to explain the island to us and give us ideas for where to adventure. Conveniently there is a common kitchen and a fridge stocked with bottled water and beer, and snorkel equipment. We used Casa as a base to explore the rest of the island, going snorkeling (we saw turtles, rays and a manatee!) and horseback riding through the rainforest and on the beach. John and Mike were easy to get in touch with when we had questions, and always super helpful and kind. We are definitely coming back!
We had a great experience here. The hosts made us feel very welcomed and spent time giving us suggestions of activities and food. There are little coolers, beach towels, and beach chairs you can use for the day which was really convenient. There is a shared kitchen, roof deck and porch. The rooms were pretty minimalistic but had everything you need. It’s in the heart of the town and the owners create a community type of atmosphere for all guests. I would definitely stay here again.
