A groop of 3 bedrooms apartments, most of them privately owned but administered and run as a resort by the Hotel nearby. This are huge 3 bedrooms apartments with a large loft style family and dining areas, large kitchen, laundry, terrace with excellent maintenance and fully equiped. Master bedroom with shower and large tub. You have access to the Hotel's beach, pools,etc, and there are excellent restaurants nearby. Distance to facilities are not considered short but they also provide you with a golf cart as part of your stay. You can also use Plantation facilities, including a large pool with two high waterslides, tennis, basketball, etc. Best for a large family vacation.

We were told about the Plantation Resort months ago and booked it immediately. We are sooo glad we did! We have a first floor suite with 3 bedrooms and an amazing patio, view and plunge pool. The accommodations are updated, clean, and spacious. We enjoyed the fitness center, beaches, trails, golf cart, bikes, and restaurants. We are booking it again for next year- can't get enough!

Plantation is one of my favorites! You rent an apartment but its part of the hotel. You get the best of both worlds: beautiful 3bedrooms apartments with a huge kitchen, but with the hotel service. You will have access to the watermill, beaches, Encanto beach club and a lot more.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Plantation Resort for a long weekend and what a wonderful weekend it was! The apartment we had was true to its pictures and hardly looked like anyone had ever used it. It was simply pristine! My family loved having a patio to sit out on every day for breakfast and the vistas of the golf course were absolutely beautiful. Another great thing about the apartment were that the three bedrooms were completely private. Once one went into one's bedroom you really could feel like you were in a totally separate hotel room. The service provided by the Plantation Resort and the Ritz hotel itself was also superb. We had an issue one night with our golf cart and the Ritz front desk came to our rescue even though we were not staying there and security at Plantation Resort took care of everything for us. They literally made our experience seamless. As everyone else has previously mentioned the facilities at this Ritz Reserve are out of this world. I have been to a lot of nice resorts, but this is definitely at the top. They spared nothing in their attention to detail and the result is that you really feel like you have been transported to some tropical paradise. I would highly recommend checking at the Spa if you can. The massage I had cured the cold I was catching, but more than that the experience of just being in the spa was incredible. The other thing that really put this resort over the top for me was the food. Most of the time when I have travelled to top resorts in the Caribbean the food is the Achilles heel. Not here! As one of my companions said, if he could pick his last meal on earth he would have it at Mi Casa. The food at Positivo was my favorite, personally, but overall we were just very impressed. The only two things that could use some improvement from my perspective were the transport service that the resort recommends and the wifi. I literally had to chase the guy down at the airport, because he wasn't even holding a sign with our name on it. The other issue was the wifi in the apartment really was not usable at all. I could not hold a signal for any length of time and if I had to work while there this would have been a very big issue for me. Other than that, my whole experience with booking and communicating with the resort was terrific and I cannot recommend this resort enough......…

Apartment is gorgeous and includes all you need for your stay. Golf car (included) for 4 is very useful to go to the Beach and pools around the Resort. Golf courses are challenging and beautiful. Best restaurants Zafra, Encanto Beach Club, Mi Casa and Barlovento.

My wife and two daughters recently spent five nights at this property, which is located adjacent to the Ritz Carlton Dorado Beach about 35 miles west of San Juan, Puerto Rico. The property is beautiful and immaculately maintained. Our room was beautiful and clean, with all amenities that we would ordinarily expect from a top hotel other than room service (which, frankly, is not really relevant for us). The staff on property were superb, friendly, always available, and, most importantly, always happy. We did not play golf but the courses looked beautiful. Access to the Ritz property via golf cart is easy, quick, and a fun thing for the kids. The trip to the beach at the Encanto (on the Ritz property) is about five minutes --- an easy drive all on paved roads. The Encanto has a beautiful pool that is great for kids ---- perhaps the best pool for kids that I've ever seen. The beach is right next to that pool and is very gentle. Those wanting even small waives will be disappointed but the beach is very attractive. The Ritz property is stunning and you have access to all of the Ritz other than its more upscale, private beach and private pool (that pool is much more aimed at adults). In short, this is a great place for a family vacation.…

We had a wonderful time at this wonderful resort. We loved the luxurious apartment, the grounds, the gym, the golf course and beautiful beach. We do not recommend the restaurants on the property. They were too expensive, pretentious and had a limited menu.

We stayed here with our two children ages 15 and 11 and we all had a wonderful vacation. If you want a pool or beach within steps of your room this is not the place to stay. We knew we would need to drive the golf cart to our activities but this was not a hindrance. The golf carts allow you to move freely around this large resort (if you stay at the Hotel you have to wait for shuttles). Plus our kids loved driving it! You can be at the Restaurants, Good Winds Water Sports, Encanto Pool & Beach, The Spa or any of the other activities in less than 10 min. The 3 bedrooms at Plantation are a bargain in comparison to the room prices at the Ritz. You can also ask the management to stock your fridge prior to arrival. This vacation was a huge success!

We stayed on this property with our children for a month. This place is paradise and you don't feel like you need to leave the beautiful bubble you are in. My children attended the summer camp while on our stay and loved it! There is so much to do on the property and we can't wait to go back. We love it there! 😃

I stayed with friends after getting a secret deal on hotwire. The property is gorgeous. A water park, state of the art gym, clubhouse and pool are all on the resort property. 5 minutes away in your complimentary golf cart are all the amenities available to Ritz Carlton including two fabulous beaches and two more pools plus restaurants. The grounds are lush and quiet and the staff is very warm and helpful. I usually don't like to repeat destinations but I'll definitely be back here. The surrounding town has some nice authentic Puerto Rican cuisine but there is also American fast food chains, a large supermarket open late and drug stores like walgreen's just a few minutes off of the property. Do rent a car as there is not sufficient public transport to get you to popular sites like the Camuy caves, old San Juan or the bio bays.…
