Definitely had a great stay here at the Posada Colonial, staff were very polite and helpful. Beds and pillows were very comfortable, the breakfast was coffee, milk, cereal, cookies and bread. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Place was clean but the bed was not comfortable. Hot water, nice coffee and free parking and continental breakfast. However, we asked for late checkout and were not able to provide it to us. Decent place for the price, but not ideal if you want to rest. It is right in the middle of downtown, so there is a lot...

I recently stayed at Hotel Colonial for three nights and was extremely pleased with my stay! I was in Puerto Rico for business from Massachusetts, USA but the hotel was very comfortable and would be fitting for families vacationing, a couples getaway, tourism, business, etc. The bed was cozy, the AC was adjustable by remote in room, the water pressure...

Hotel El Colonial is located in the middle of the town of Mayaguez. It used to be a convent and they are really proud of their past keeping the history alive with pictures and informatio. It is a beautiful place to stay and relax. Calm atmosphere, excellent service, clean, and refreshing. The rooms are big and comfy.

A no frills hotel located near Mayaguez's central square. The rooms are small- having been a former convent it's too be expected, but comfortable. If you're simply looking for a home base while you explore the island this is perfect. Good price, accessible parking, 24 hr desk service. They serve a small continental breakfast but the Ricomini bakery is only...

Great experience. Very friendly staff. Room was clean and offered all basic needs. Price is excellent compared with other hotels in the area. Parking was available inside the hotel. The city main streets are away from hotel and traffic noise was not an issue. Location is perfect if you want to explore the city. Recommend to visit Ricomini Bakery. The...

We showed up around 4 AM with no reservation. Got a room for $75. I was exhausted, needed to shower & sleep. One of the strangest rooms I have ever stayed in. The room was very small with NO WINDOWS! The ceiling was quite low with a concrete beam going through it at less than 6'. I'm over 6'tall so...

Excellent, great service & Clean! It was a small room but with exact needs. Near many interesting places and beach. We definitely had a good experience. We booked thru Expedia and they did not have availability I was so angry but the personnel at Colonial did make it happened!!! Hospitality at first!

Stayed in this hotel because it's near the town "plaza" and the reviews here in Tripadvisor....Wow, what a pleasant surprise! The service was great, from the front clerk to the ladies that clean and prepare your room to the owner Nancy. This hotel used to be a convent and has since been renovated. The owners have done a great job...
