Stayed 2 nights before a cruise. Wanted to stay in Old San Juan. They are doing some remodeling with was fine and did not affect us. At check in he was very informative about the area with a map of things to do and eating. He was spot on everything. Breakfast and service on the rooftop was great. There is...

The hotel is redone and looks good, the service is great from the friendly staff. Having said that, the hotel doesnt have many ammenities so there is basically nothing to do at the actual hotel, sure there is a rooftop area but its very small, and can get easily crowded. So its fine for a night or two, longer than...

I came back for my second visit in three years and hope to visit again someday. What I like about this place: 1) location in the middle of Old San Juan historic district; 2) rooftop terrace for breakfast and watching sunrise and sunsets over the old city and the bay; 3) high end feel to my room without feeling overcharged;...

I didn't think much of it when they placed me in a room on the first floor, but its actually right next to the bar and it was very loud all night long, i guess they get a local crowd coming in, not totally sure, but there is music and people getting drunk, I got zero sleep every night I...

Well positioned in Old San Juan. I had a blast. For the price this hotel was nice. Loved the little rooftop infinity pool. I could have spent more and got a more fancy place with less flaws but I am happy I chose this place. Loved my room and the look and feel of this place. Staff was great. There...

Really happy with the location of the hotel, walking to the major sightseeing, a lot of small and hidden bars around every corner and restaurants too, great nightlife. The hotel is smaller than it looks and my room was also smaller than I thought i was gonna get, didnt spend that much time on the hotel because i thought the...

I was born and raised in Puerto Rico, but since 1984 I have lived in the United States. Over the years, I go back to the island to see family and friends, but I do not like staying with them. I like my independence while in the island and this hotel, La Terraza de San Juan, could become my house...

This is an update for a return visit. Hotel staff is exceptional (and very accommodating (holding luggage, late checkout, printing things, etc). Rooms are very clean and comfortable. KING SIZE beds are plush and luxurious. Always love the balcony suites. You can't beat the location - but finding parking can be a pain!

Exceeded my expectations - nice clean room with more amenities than expected, right in the middle of Old San Juan but not too loud at night, pleasant and helpful staff, bars on top and bottom floors, mini roof top pool.

Our room was quite charming. One must keep in mind you are in a tropical location and resort tourist area. We very much enjoyed all the staff and hospitality. Excellent breakfast...Gustavo recommended THE best local breakfast type sausage! They have a vintage espresso machine also! Would definitely recommend this as an option when visiting Old San Juan. I will be...
