Hadn't been to PR in awhile and the Posada San Francisco was perfect for relaxing, feeling safe and just enjoying some warm weather and friendly people. Thank you! I'll definitely return. Lockers are available for valuables but the place is pretty safe!

WOW !!! Based on a visit here in 2011, I decided to again stay at the Posada San Francisco hostel last week. My first visit was an overall excellent experience. I am pleased to say that nothing has changed. This place is safe, clean and one of the best values for the money in all of Puerto Rico. If you...

Super easy to book, fun, laid back atmosphere, perfect location and awesome views! The staff was friendly. Front gate locks at night, and each floor can only be accessed by guests staying there. I arrived by myself the first day and I'm glad I packed light because you do have a good amount of stairs to climb! Authentic Puerto Rican...

I was drawn by the promise of old world architecture and style, but the "old world" builders of this place would turn in their graves! This is really a hostel group living arrangement with very simple rooms and common baths. It is located on the 5th and 6th floors of a nondescript apartment building. Every surface: walls, floors, doors, windows.......

Thank You for a review! Looking at your compiled reviews of Hotels. You have placed perfect score is at resorts; So if you do compare us to a resort you will be very dissapointed. We always advertise as a small scale hostel. Our prices which are not only the lowest on Old San Juan being and expensive city are also...

We stayed in a small private room which had everything we needed - an AC, big bed and a closet. The bathrooms are all shared but worked out very well! It's located on the 5th and 6th floor which gives you the most amazing view from the shared balconies! You are within walking distance to everything in Old San Juan;...

My brother and I stayed here and we would definitely stay here again! The rooms were decently sized, and the facilities weren't spotless, but for less that $20 a person per night we got way more than we expected. We also did bar hopping with a group that worked out of the hostel. It was so incredibly fun! We met...

You will be asking for a refund if you take the Carmelita Bio Bay Tour and I am in the process of getting mine. I paid $85 + tax to be dumped on a speck of land that can be covered on foot in under 2 minutes. You're given kids snorkeling gear [I'm over 30] and told to swim around...

If you like luxury, please do not waste your time here. This is a bare bones place to stay. That in mind I LOVED this place. I met the owners of the hostel when they were passing out breakfast. It is family owned, run and cared for. This hostel is PRIME location for everything! Let me list off things that...
