The location of the Tryst is perfect. Easy for walking around Condado and quick Uber rides to old town or la placita. We loved having quick easy access to the beach and it was great that they had beach chairs provided (although we were not allowed to move the chairs closer to the water, they reserved those spots for chairs they were selling). The hotel is very rundown, dirty windows, and just a general lack of maintenance but we were aware and ok with that because of the price. Our main issues were that our bathroom had not been cleaned prior to our check in, with the previous guests hair all over the shower. Subsequent daily cleanings were also lacking. We also paid for and booked a queen, but the bed we were given was not a queen. We would have been fine with the out of date facilities but the clear lack of cleaning between guests was our biggest concern. …

Friendly staff and a great location in Condado. The hotel has an open beach waterfront and provides free chairs and towels so it was very convenient for us on our last night in San Juan. We had great mojitos (regular and parcha) at the bar. They feature a DJ at night who made our night, playing both romantic bachatas and the best reggaeton hits. The hotel had a queer friendly vibe both in the lobby and at the beach, and it was great to also see a very racially mixed group of guests, unlike other hotels in Condado. Definitely would love to come back!

My friend and I throughly enjoyed our stay! The beach access was very convenient and the staff were all very pleasant and kind! The hotel was clean, stylish, and comfortable. It’s perfectly located with walking ability to restaurants and an easy 7-10min Uber from Old San Juan. The bed was very soft and comfortable as well. We hope to come back one day as we see they have plans to add a pool to their lay out soon!

Our stay was excellent and exceeded all expectations. The room had everything we needed, the hotel is very clean, and the beach access and chairs were the most convenient part of our stay. The petite room also comes with a mini fridge which was very useful. The property offers incredible views and is very well kept. For a stay right on the beach with chairs and umbrellas provided, the value is incredible.

Lively location right on the beach and in the heart of all the action, at a great price. Outstanding customer service. Everything you need is on location for a relaxing and fun stay. Wicked Lilly is on the premises. The hotel has reserved chairs and umbrellas on the beach for its guests. If you are a light sleeper bring ear plugs = being in the middle of everything also means lots of noise.

where should i start? stayed there during a weekend in april of 2022. The lobby is poor/semi dirty. rooms? extremely small, i mean really really small. The worst part about this hotel is that the rooms only have one outlet and it's in the bathroom.

This hotel has so many great things!! The location is perfect !! Super close to all the restaurants and everything els but still somehow secluded. U It's right on the beach, it's so cute and the environment is great and it's affordable! You can't go wrong . They have a restaurant facing the beach , great vibe and drinks ! The staff was super friendly!! Overall so great!! Highly recommended it

Loved the easy beach access with chairs and an umbrella. Our room was on the small side but very clean. The staff was always very friendly and helpful. Being able to check out an hour late and holding our luggage until we left for our cruise - all without an extra charge - was wonderful! And getting a free drink was icing on the cake!
