Very nice stay at the hotel. Staff was friendly and kind. The hotel could use an update and more elevators in operation, in addition to several more restaurants on the premises or nearby. The pools are very nice. The beach is small and overcrowded. The backyard area and lagoon views are gorgeous! Full stop. Definitely visually stunning. The locks on our room doors needed to be reprogrammed twice which was inconvenient but not a spoiler. Jose and Jean at the front desk did a very nice job of handling a billing related issue for me. As I said previously, the staff are very accommodating and kind.

Even though PR is just starting to get back on its feet after Maria and then the pandemic, this hotel is doing an excellent job of taking care of their guests. The General Manager of this property is one of the GREATEST GM’s of any Hilton property I have ever visited as a diamond member for 8 years! She called my cell number at 11:00 pm at night because she knew the tire in my rented Escalade popped and I was stranded in San Juan until very late. She was so concerned that she offered to send someone from the hotel to pick me up. I was amazed and stunned that a GM could be so hands on with her guests. Her attitude shows in every member of her staff that goes out of their way to make you feel very special. I also liked the extra protection they took during these times. There was hand sanitizer everywhere, they took your temperature every time you entered, sprayed hand sanitizer on your hands every time you entered, and everyone including the guests wore masks and practiced social distancing. The room was even sanitized and sealed with a sticker letting us know. Staying there I had no worries about getting Covid. I felt like I was at home. When in San Juan, you MUST visit this hotel! I can’t wait until zafarse the pandemic when this hotel is 100 percent operational so I can go back and have an even better time! Thank you Ms. Toko! Keep up the great job!

Other reviewers are being gentle. I will try to condense my experience here: Lobby music too loud at check-in so little information was provided by front desk/Avoid dilapidated Lagoon Tower/1 of 2 Ocean Twr elevators Out of Order/Lobby leaks/Lagoon Twr. Elevators don't always work/Bellman & room keys wouldn't work/Room had NO internet/Deadbolt broken/Key wouldn’t open Fitness Ctr./NONE of the three onsite breakfast venues was open/Mgmt. is inexperienced/When cafe did open late the food came in Styrofoam & plastic bag/Received 1 small bottle of OJ & 1 paper cup coffee w/no refills/Pool restroom had NO toilet paper in either stall/When I raise concerns the Front Desk agent chooses to call someone’s cell phone and rudely converse in Spanish obviously trying to disguise his conversation/Driveway entrance at Lagoon Tower is blocked off because building is literally dropping debris on cars/Very limited "renovations" are merely lipstick on a pig/Lagoon Tower should be condemned./Obviously there is NOT any so called "Work In Progress"/ Hotel is falling apart/Although Hilton continues to charge Resorts Fees there are no activities/GM is nonexistent coward w/layers of employees and other management to avoid any interaction with guests/Far more problems than the disgraceful condition of the hotel physical conditions. Hilton should be completely embarrassed by allowing this "hotel" to be part of the family of brands.

I'll never stay at another Hilton with 4 stars or less since the advertising was misleading. This hotel should have been 3 stars, not 4 stars in my opinion. This hotel needs a major renovation for the amount of money customers pay here. The chair in the room was torn, all the finishes were truly outdated and the place smelled very old. The towels even had red stains on them. This by far was the worst 4 star hotel I've stayed in.

Our $500+/night room had a mattress on a low plywood platform for a bed, the tiniest bathroom I’ve ever experienced (you couldn’t stand at the sink because the toilet was in the way) and a very small tv from the 80’s with half the channels snowy. The staff was not helpful. I have been a very loyal Hilton customer for many years and this was probably the worst experience ever. I would suggest you avoid this hotel if at all possible. I would suggest
