Green hotel nearby the Convention Center Pedro Rossello, cruise ports, casinos and Old San Juan. Very clean hotel, recently renovated. 10 minutes away from the beach(walking), and plenty of restaurants and night live.

This was a perfect spot for a one-night stay prior to our cruise. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable, but we didn’t have hot water for our shower, there was no blow dryer, and we could not control the temperature on our AC unit (it was either on or it was off). When we got to the breakfast room at 8am, they were already out of coffee, but they were starting a new pot. The free shuttle to the cruise terminal was a huge perk!

I made a last minute reservation at Dreams Hotel Miramar. Because of the low price for a room I was not expecting luxurious accommodations. The good points first... the room was clean and updated, the parking was free, hallways were quiet and the bed was very comfortable. My only complaints were that the towels needed to be replaced as they were thread bare and I was unable to take a hot, or warm, shower. I ended up leaving earlier than I had planned because hot water is an absolute must. When I complained to the front desk I was told that I should try to shower at another time because the hotel runs out of hot water. Needless to say even when I tried at a later time the water was still cold. Unfortunately, because of the lack of hot water I won't be staying there again.

This is a decent hotel to stay at before your cruise. As many attest to, it has all of the basic stuff. The beds weren’t extremely uncomfortable but I found myself shifting positions a lot. AC works fine. Noise was fine until the morning it felt like I had every car that went down the street in my room with me and the noise of doors opening and closing made it feel like someone kept walking into our room.

But!!! It’s very clean and well maintained. You can walk down the block to an AMAZING food truck at a 24/7 continence store too.

We stayed at this hotel the day before (March 7, 2020) went on a cruise leaving and was scheduled to return March 15, 2020 and stay overnight at the samehotel. While there, the service was spotty and the reported owner/manager also cleaned the rooms and was thus difficult to contact to deal with any issues. Because of the coronavirus our cruise ship was denied entry into Pureto Rico and redirected to Florida. We made reservations and paid to stay at Dreams hotel on March 15, 2020. Upon returning to the states, we contacted Celina, the reported owner, to inform of the situation. The owner refused to refund our money and instead offered a credit for a future stay at the hotel and indicated that we should have given her advance notice of not returning there. We were not informed of the refusal until March 15 around 8am. While the rooms were cleaned and well kept, she kept our money for a room we did not use. Be very careful when making reservations there, because the owner will not work with you if any changes come up.

Response from elenapagan, Manager at Dreams Hotel Miramar
Responded Mar 26, 2020
Good morning Mr. Williams. You stayed with us on March 7, 2020, and you was very happy with us, we offer you a very clean hotel at reasonable rates, we take care of all your needs and do our best to make you and your wife happy. At check out because you liked the hotel you decided to make a reservation for another night for March 15, that date we kept a room for you. You did not arrive, called or send any message that let us know that you will not be arriving that night. When you call on March 23, one week after the date of check in, we let you know that we can give you a voucher that you can use until one year, you did not want that, you want your money back, and option that was not available. We do our best to find the solution of this matter, but was in your hands to accept the voucher or not. Sorry for all the inconvenience.

Our stay was unpleasant. The room floor was slippery and sandy like it wasn't properly clean. The bathroom was uncleaned. There was pee stain around the toilet. The hotel advised that we reuse the towels to safe energy. When we requested for new towels we didn't get it even though we had spend more than 5 days in the hotel. Cleaning wasn't done regularly even when requested..During our entire stay it was done the last day before our departure...They took 200.00 as security deposit and told me it will be refunded the day we check out. It's been more than 3 weeks , my money hasn't been refunded.

My Family and I had terrible service and got misleading information. We made a reservation online and were told we can have 7 people for our 2 rooms, but upon arrival was told we were only allowed 1 adult and 2 Kids to a room. As we were unable to bring in the last child, they left us helpless, and searching for a place to sleep tonight. That is not how you run a business if you ask me.

We stayed here one night after our cruise and it was a mistake.

First the good…The lady at the front desk was very nice and even gave us face cloths she had from a hidden stash when we asked. She told us where the food places were nearby and was all around friendly.

The shower had no hot water whatsoever and the shower curtain was soiled.

When it came time to go to bed, we pulled down the covers and that’s when things were really disgusting.

There were several stains on both the top and bottom sheet. We immediately called the number given to us when we checked in and was first of all questioned as to why it took us so long to let her know because she had checked us in hours earlier. We replied that we were just going to bed then and discovered it.

Her and a man came up and looked at it and immediately moved us into another room, which was much better. She was very apologetic and accommodating so at least we had that.

There was NO hot water. It was not just our room but everyone waiting for shuttle was complaining how there was no hot water. They lure you with free shuttle to port and don't care if there's hot water because you were only there one night. It was not even lukewarm, so we were not able to shower before getting on the ship. If you want a bed to sleep in and take a warm shower before getting on the ship - this is NOT the place for you. Learn from my mistake.

The owner Alina is the worst person I have ever encountered. She is very unprofessional, not customer friendly. She is rude and she will cheat you out of your money. A first time traveler please don't book with Dream Hotel Miamira. She felt myself and 4 friends stranded. There is a party of 30 people looking for a hotel in the fall my travel group they are now booking somewhere else. Every chance I get I will write a terrible review.

We stayed at Dreams Miramar to connect with a cruise. This hotel reminded me of a few Motel 6's I have stayed at in the past. They did leave the light on for you. It is
not fancy. If you want a clean comfortable room close to the cruise ports then this
is your hotel. They offer a courtesy shuttle to the cruise terminal and our driver was
very friendly. A short 8 minute walk there are good places to eat.
