First time that I return to a hotel room late in the evening and I find that the room was never made. We contacted the front desk to report it and their answer was a simple " we sorry for the inconvenience " and offered to send fresh towels. When my husband told them that there were still service people arranging other rooms they did not offer to come and clean our room. Definitely giving preference to future guests than the ones already at the hotel. I never expected such a poor customer service from a Sheraton hotel that charges so much for the stay. I don't think I will return to that hotel
An average hotel, large for conventions and casinos. Very rigid checkout procedures, asked for late checkout, and the lady (unfortunately I did not get her name) grudgingly gave us 12:00 . We had a late plane. To top it off, they had removed the seating from the lobby of this very busy hotel. Remodeling. Seems it would have been a brilliant idea to have temporary seating during the remodel. We used the hotel because Windstar Cruise Lines would pick you up there, but as it turned out, didn’t use their service after all to get to and from the ship. All in all, I would not recommend the hotel. Really sorry we stayed there.
This hotel is in a perfect location, right across from the T mobile district. Not too far of a cab ride to downtown old San Juan either. We love the pool area, which also has a great view, service is excellent, and Javier in the downstairs Barb makes the best old fashions.
Pleasantly surprised from the instant we walked in. Everyone was friendly, in town for my sister's wedding and from my initial planning with Joel Burgos who never said no to any of our request, helping us coordinate the welcome bags and welcome gathering with appetizers it was nice to work with the amazing banquet/event staff. First day at the pool it was love at first sight with Fransheska at The Bay Pool Bar & Grill. 6 days at the pool and she never waivered in her service to me, my family and our group of friends. She helped me find my drink for the week, gave us helpful suggestions. She was never gone for long, consistently checked on us and had the friendliest demeanor consistently. Everyone loved her- she is a GEM. Jesus was also sweet, kind and super helpful. Fresh (bartender) made sure my Margaritas were just the way a picky person would want them dash of soda water and strawberry. We upgraded to the sun deck Suite --- I was again pleasantly surprised the room was awesome and perfect for all our needs especially with kids. We strolled out to the pool area with no problem. Clean, smelled good and was more than comfortable and CLEAN. I would advise a microwave in that room however. The towel guy was the right person to greet people he made me smile and laugh 2/28-3/5. I love the no stress environment with a ton of rules. It was so laid back I would recommend this place to everyone. Having the t-mobile place across the way was a bonus. Only downfall was my son got sick after eating the chicken fingers at the pool (undercooked) he ended up missing the wedding and throwing up most of the night - we had the wings almost everyday and they were good so much of been a fluke?!?! Highly recommended!!!!!!!! …
I nearly rated this two stars . I was on a three night stay before a cruise . I am a lifetime Titanium elite and they put me in a room on the top floor by the elevator machinery and i doubt if it was an upgrade. In fact the contrary. The dull rumble of the machinery was incessant. I could not sleep and had to call for ear plugs during the night - they weren’t surprised . ( I discovered I am not the first to complain) . I asked to be moved. They said they were full and difficult to move me. I said I would check out in the morning if they couldn’t move me. I suppose it was my fault as I am an experienced traveller and I fell for the standard questions which determine who to allocate the bad rooms to. “ Is this your first time” = do you know the hotel ? “ Are you on business or pleasure” = will you be coming back? The next morning clearly the night manager had got the wheels in motion and got me moved. So why so many stars? The staff ( other than check in ) are amazing. Nicest, kindest most helpful we have met in a long time. Pool area was noisy but here again the staff were absolute stars. So full marks to the staff.…
Very clean, very friendly staff. The food at The Bay Pool Bar & Grill was great. We got something different every day. Fransheska at The Bay Pool Bar & Grill was FANTASTIC. She served us all weekend and was the best. She proactively checked on us often, and she was so friendly.
My wife and I booked a cruise that was going out of San Juan. We decided to arrive a day early and leave a day after the cruise. We stayed at the Sheraton before and after. The hotel was very nice. The service was excellent and the staff was professional and polite. We spent the majority of our time enjoying the warmth and sunshine under the palm trees by the pool. We chose bay view balcony rooms and enjoyed sitting out on the balcony early in the morning and each evening. The location was convenient to walk to the convention center, the T-Mobile district, and to Condado beach.
Stayed here for 9 nights while on a job here in Puerto Rico. The hotel was wonderful to stay in. The room was spacious and bed comfortable. I loved taking a swim in their infinity pool, looking over the harbor area. The TMobile center next door was so convenient. Lots of great restaurants. The concierge helped us out in adventures during the weekend and for interesting spots to eat. We had breakfast every morning in their main floor restaurant. The variety was great. I’m not really into the casino scene and never felt like I was in a casino. We were a mere $5 Uber ride from the old part of San Juan. Thanks for a great stay.
Outstanding customer experience and service provided by Isis Matos and Joselyn Ruiz in the Cafe. The cafe food is good and service provided by the hotel is outstanding. Nice hotel with good restaurants. The management of the hotel is very supportive and attentive.
The food and service at the pool: wow; words fail! Bianca was so genuinely friendly and prompt. She really made us feel like she enjoys serving people. The fish tacos were the tastiest I’ve ever had anywhere, and the salsa that came with the chips is hands down the best I’ve ever had. The chefs at the pool are amazing! One was telling us some of the secret ingredients in the salsa, but I don’t remember them all. I took some back to my room it was so good! What a great experience. Bravo everyone!
