This place is an over-priced sh*t show. The single closet in our room was only half-usable; the other half had plumbing pipes making it impossible to hang anything longer than a small shirt. There were no shelves in the closet. There was nowhere in the bathroom to store cosmetics; we had to pack and unpack them every morning and night. The music blasting by the pool was all Rap and nothing else. The adults-only COC is designed for clueless under 30's who want to think they're cool and have no clue what quality really is. Here's one example: A bottle of Veuve Clicquot champagne that retails for anywhere between fifty and seventy bucks tops was on the menu for four hundred dollars! Only a know-nothing idiot trying to impress themselves and others would order it. We had reserved the room for nine days but checked out in three days; that was as soon as we could find a suitable similarly priced alternative. Steer clear!…
Great location with magnificent ocean views . With a restaurant in house and a boutique I found everything here within walking distance including a great pizza place and shopping. The rooms are a bit small but they’re wonderfully decorated! I really appreciated the staff helping me find rides in allowing me to check in a bit early. Looking forward to returning Soon!
Aimed for a younger crowd. Know that going in. I wish I had, I would not have stayed here. Also a much smaller property than the pictures make it look. There is a beach area that you can walk on but there are huge rocks so it’s mainly for looking at. Pool area is beautiful, but there is usually always loud music playing for a club vibe. Room never felt clean. It was decent, but had some kind of candle wax spots everywhere from a previous guest and when they serviced the room it was lacking. The floors are tile and so they get dirty easy and they did not do well cleaning these. It’s Puerto Rico so you just always feel like things are wet from the humidity. The ladies at front desk were very friendly, some of their male counterparts were a bit snobbish. Don’t ask anything from the pool guy. Overall I was disappointed because I just felt uncomfortable and didn’t like the place, certainly never felt clean. It’s close to restaurants etc, but there are other choices in the area.…
Stayed three nights for a bachelorette weekend. The hotel went above and beyond to accommodate us. Daniely assisted us with our travel needs (transportation, recommendations and just checking on us to make sure we had everything we needed). Great customer service from beginning to end. The views, from the lobby, pool, and our room, were amazing.
This hotel is so expensive with NOTHING INCLUDED ! Inside the room the ceiling was falling through. We requested for a cover change multiple times they did not ever come to change them! This hotel is only nice for the pool and ocean view please do not room here !!
I don't think I've ever said this about a hotel before--but I will never stay here again. The pool bar staff were great and the food was pretty good, but that's about where the compliments begin and end. 1. Our room was damp/mildew-y the entire time we were there, whether or not the a/c was running. Our wet suits literally never dried--even after days. And we had to tiptoe around the room because the floor was so damp/wet that you could easily slip and hurt yourself. 2. The pool was designed so poorly, so there is only sun about 4 hours a day--the rest of the day it's just too cold to get in. 3. The food and drinks were SO expensive. A breakfast for one without alcohol ran $60. 4. Our room wasn't ready until after 4:00, but they refused to allow a late checkout. 5. We agreed to an ocean-view upgrade when we got there, thinking they were offering us a deal since the hotel wasn't full, only to realize it was the same price we turned down when we booked because it was too expensive. Our friends arrived the next day, and were offered the same ocean-view for $30 less per day than we were offered. 6. The maids just didn't show up one day to clean our room, but left a note that we were there when they arrived--which wasn't true. When we returned, we asked the front desk to bring some more water--nobody ever arrived. 7. There are no microwaves in the entire hotel, so if you can't finish your food, you just have to throw it away. 8. The ice machines on the floors are all broken, so you have to go the whole way down to the front desk for ice.…
The hotel views were magnificent. The first day was great service. After the first day the hotel service went downhill. On our second day there we had trouble getting gluten-free food (I have Celiac Disease, which I explained) and the kitchen refused us service. They told us they were preparing for lunch, but then proceeded to bring out the same omelettes we wanted (but they told us they weren’t cooking anymore) for other customers 30 minutes after they told us they weren’t serving them anymore. When we went to the front desk we heard “we’ll talk to the kitchen staff.” They did nothing. Our 3rd day the room wasn’t cleaned. I had to request towels 3x before we got them. In the hotel store (not the hotel staff), the staff was wonderful. We had a rusty table in our room, but the service was by far the most disappointing part of the trip.…
On the waterfront in San Juan’s fashionable Condado Beach neighborhood, Condado Ocean Club is a sleek and contemporary adults-only hotel that is ideal as a destination for a group of professional adults or a romantic getaway. The Ocean View King room is bright and modern and features a stunning full-length window that seems to carry the waves into the hotel room. The in-hotel restaurant Social is excellent and we had a delightful private breakfast-in-bed featuring Lemon Ricotta Pancakes and Steak & Eggs. We also dined several times at the Social restaurant, where we enjoyed a delicious dinner as well as the unlimited mimosas Sunday brunch on the restaurant patio perched above the sand. The restaurant staff and bartenders were extraordinarily friendly and attentive. Ocean Beach Club’s infinity pool looks out onto the Atlantic next to a modern deck and a full-service bar with several comfortable cabanas nearby. The pool area is perfect for relaxation and drinks with friends. The hotel is a short drive from San Juan airport and key nightlife and tourist destinations like Viejo San Juan and la Placita de Santurce. For your next “grown and sexy” vacation in San Juan, look to Condado Ocean Beach Club.…
We had a great experience from arrival to departure, all team members were friendly and helpful. Room was clean... AND THAT VIEW!!!! WOW! The restaurant on site had great options and everything we had was delicious. All and all a relaxing and FUN place to be
Firstly, the hotel is absolutely beautiful. It looks exactly like the pictures and I was blown away by how nice the entire hotel looked my friends and I went for my cousins birthday and truly enjoyed our stay. However, at check out I was told that I was being charge for taking some thing out of the minibar when I did not, the lady at the front desk was extremely rude and it sucked up about 20 minutes just to check to confirm that nothing was taken out from the minibar. When it was confirmed that nothing was touched or taken from the minibar I asked them to please remove the charge and was told that , they had other things to do that was more of a priority. Then she remove the charge that was incorrectly charged to my account. I told them that I was disappointed given that I was a customer who had just stayed five days at their hotel, and would think that this would be a priority given that I was incorrectly charged , they told me that I would have to wait an additional 45 minutes to an hour before they fix the charge. I went out to eat and came back to confirm that the charge had been fixed and I was given the final receipt by the rude lady at the front desk Who was urging me to sign. I ignored her and carefully read the closing bill that they claim they had corrected and reverse. The charge turns out the closing bill they gave me was for another room. I told her this, and instead of apologizing she got an attitude and balled up the paper and threw it in the trash and went to go get my correct room bill , once she gave me the room bill, I thoroughly read through it this time again to make sure that it was for the right room and the charge was in the reversed. Thankfully it was but it left a bad taste in my mouth about this resort as beautiful as it is , the roof customer service would be the only reason why I would not return. Be sure to thoroughly check your closing bills before you sign as discussed clearly happened to you that would be my only advice.…
