We stayed November 19 to 26 and the resort did a good job dealing with Covid. The check in is slow as you get to the resort a couple of hours before you can get into your room, but they give you your bracelet right away so you can go eat. The room was big a cleaned well with a sticker on the door showing it had been sanitized for Covid. If you want a coffee maker in your room, ask the person bring your bags to the room for it and they will bring you one. You have to call to get your mini fridge restocked, and they will only give you 4 beers at a time, which is okay. The issue is you have to be in your room to get the restock items, in our case it only took about 20 minutes. The weather was amazing throughout the entire stay, right around 30 each day with sun and a breeze that felt great. The food was good, we did eat at 4 al carts and all were good, we liked the knife the best for the service and food. The beach on the luxury side is nice sand but you really cannot swim on this side, you need to go to the grand side to swim. The beach is only okay, there are rocks when you enter the water but then it is all sand. There was never an issue getting a beach chair, or a chair around the pool. The hotel does the Covid test right on site which can take a couple of hours do to all the people needing to get it done. They say to go to the test site a 9:30am to everybody, if you go later they are open all day and it may go quicker.

Superb service from the moment we arrived to the day we left. Getting to the resort, we hired private transfers from TCJ Tours, really great service, we got to the resort in good time and a very relaxing ride. The resort is beautiful and well maintained. Few areas could use renovating but nothing to dampen a vacatiopn. Food was all great tasting and a variety to suite every diet. Pools and beach all enjoyable, lots of shade and loungers. Entertainment team do an excellent job , big thank you to the guys that made everyday fun. We have not complaints and look forward to coming back.

We have just returned from two weeks at this lovely hotel. We'd never been to Jamaica before but had stayed Luxury Bahia hotels in other countries seven times previously so had an idea of what to expect. We were both celebrating our birthdays while on holiday and so I emailed the hotel in advance asking for a quiet room and also if there were any upgrades. We were not offered any upgrades, even though the hotel was only about a third full, our quiet room was in block 26 and overlooked a derelict car park and a partly built house who on one night of our stay had a VERY loud party until 3am! We also had constant noise day and night from the main road which had very noisy lorries traveling on it all the time. That said the room was big and very clean and well maintained. I hadn't realised when I booked the hotel that the two sides of the hotel were actually joined together, the Luxury adult side guests can use the facilities on the Grand side but the Grand side guests can't use the Luxury facilities. That said the buffet for the Luxury side is actually situated on the Grand side - you walk past Grand rooms to get to it and you see families passing constantly. I also hadn't realised how big the hotel was and how much walking was involved to get anywhere. I had an accident on my second day which resulted in me having difficulty waking for the rest of my stay, this really hit home how difficult it would be for anyone with walking issues to stay here. The staff are the greatest feature of this hotel, they are friendly and courteous and nothing is too much trouble, they really do look after you amazingly. After my accident I was asked by so many members of staff what had happened, how I was and how sorry they were! I hope this hotel knows what brilliant staff they have. Covid protocols were in place at the hotel, the rooms were deep cleaned and sealed before arrival and thoroughly cleaned every day. The restaurant and bar tables and chairs were disinfected between guests and your hands were sanitised each time before you entered the food areas. There were signs asking guests to wear masks in public areas which most people adhered to, unfortunately some people didn't bother but this isn't the hotels fault. There was quite a large pool on the Luxury side which was split into three areas one of which had the swim up bar. There were loads of sunbeds and never a problem getting one at any time of the day although there seemed to be a lot of sunbeds for such a relatively small area, I wouldn't like to see what it would be like if the hotel was anywhere near capacity as you'd be VERY close to others. The Grand side also had lots of sunbeds which were much more spaced out and we could have used but when I come to an adults only hotel it's because I want to be adults only, The only down side of the whole holiday for me was the noise! From about 10am to 6pm every day there is very loud music being played around the pool, this was bad enough as I like to go on holiday to chill out and enjoy peace, this certainly didn't happen here. What made it worse was the entertainment teams need to shout at the same very loud volume constantly. They actively encouraged people to get drunk and be loud! We tried going to the beach on a few occasions but the noise could still be heard there. The lobby bar in the evening was as bad. I know a lot of people go on holiday to have fun and get drunk and that's fine if it's what you want but there should be options for people who just want peace and quiet and unfortunately this hotel doesn't offer that. It's a shame as every other part of the holiday and the hotel is wonderful but I won't return.

This hotel is fantastic but I will not be returning due to one aspect! The rooms are big and well cleaned, all the amenities are catered for and the minibar is well stocked daily. The cleaning is excellent as are the covid precautions throughout the complex. The food is varied with a different theme each night. As a vegetarian, I could see that meat eaters are very well catered for with plenty of options and variety. I however had salads nearly every meal except breakfast as there was not a "meal" for me. No vegetarian curries, chillies, lasagne etc plenty of carrots and potatoes but no proteins. Breakfast was fabulous with lots of fresh fruit available. The sunbeds are plentiful and comfortable. There were numerous beds around the luxury pool. I wouldn't like to be poolside if all the beds were occupied as it would be very crowded. The beds around the Grand side pools were in pairs and had big gaps separating them all. Very covid friendly. The beach is tiny and split into several lagoons all beautiful. The weather in January was good. It was in the very high 20s most days. Cloudy with a few rain showers some heavy. It is the winter season and should be expected. Drinks are plentiful and all come in cans or bottles. The hotel ran out of beers and several mixers and juices on several occasions. The staff are excellent. All ask you how you are and are genuinely concerned about your holiday. They all go out of their way to help you with any queries or assistance. Our shower head sprung a leak and soaked the bathroom but within 20 minutes a new head was fitted and the shower was serviceable again. First rate customer satisfaction My only complaint about the holiday was the entertainment. I come on holiday to relax. Unfortunately the entertainment stopped this from happening. The DJ blasted his music out at full volume for the daylight hours. He and she also shouted constantly into the microphone. There were regular drinking games and an atmosphere of club 18-30 culture all revolving around drink. I tried to block out the noise with my own music through the noise cancelling headphones but the DJ won. I also went all the way to the beach but could still hear the noise down there. There was no escape! I have been to 8 luxury Bahia resorts over the years but never have had this "entertainment" blasted at me. If you want to party all day long this is a perfect venue for you. If you want to relax by to pool or beach think again! I will not be returning which is a big shame because I loved the hotel.
