High class. Very fancy. Private villas. Wonderful part of the country. Very beautiful resort. Food was fantastic. Atmosphere was fantastic. I don't have anything bad to say about this resort. We will be returning and we will be returning on the helicopter.
The only negative is that we haven't stayed before! Positives: 1. the rooms are stunning, the housekeeping prompt and on point, private pool and sea view to die for. 2. the food is delicious, again on point and delivered professionally 3. the private cinema area is simply awesome - if you have a young family then you're in for a treat 4. the walks along the coast are beautiful with friendly couple of dogs and a castle 5. the live band at dinner were awesome and played authentic music during dinner under the stars 6. Private beach like a scene from a movie 7. covid protocols felt well managed and felt very clean throughout The only constructive criticism would be the need for some maintenance around the property, some wood dropped off fence in the villa one day - but with the other positives and covid, this must be forgiven thanks again for a great stay and big up the hotel staff.…
My husband and I had the pleasure of staying there for 4 days and it was the most relaxing vacation we ever had! From the moment you walk in the views are captivating! Our villa was AMAZING! It was private, with stunning views, private plunge pool and the perfect spot to order wine and unwind! We visited the beach one day but it was a bit noisy so we preferred the complete quiet of the villa pool. The Jamaican dishes were probably the best hotel food we ever had. If I had to think of one area of improvement it would be the spa and changing the menu for the speakeasy night. Special thanks to our driver Raymond and all the staff. They helped to make this trip memorable. We will be back!!!
Everyone who sees our pictures says our wedding looked like a fairytale and everyone who attended continues to heap praises. We stayed at the hotel and got married at the castle. The staff at Trident are unmatched in their level of service. I cannot express in words how fabulous they all were. And the property! It's truly paradise. The only area of improvement from our perspective would be the food. Breakfast every morning was delicious with fresh ingredients and fabulous coffee, but the lunch and dinner menus could use a boost.
What a great boutique hotel. Just 14 really good suites. Very attentive staff, as it is so small the chef can cook whatever you want (wonderfully well). Lobster cooked as you like. Fresh fish of course. Breakfasts in front of the ocean were stunning. Private screening room with huge and very current film library. Pool table. Gym is just great - better equipped than most mega hotels.
This is a beautifull property!!! We had a Junior Villa that was great, loved the design, great bathroom, plenty of space for a family of 4. We had a big splash pool on our patio and beautiful view over a Rocky ocean with big waves!! They have a small, man made beach with calm crystal clear water. We had the beach for ourselves during our whole stay. Akeem was there to teach our kids to kayak and paddle board! They also have a nice pool overlooking a Rocky ocean!! Staff was very friendly and helpful, house keeping was very efficient!! A lot of great positives!! Con's: It's a long tough drive from bigger airports, 3 hrs from Kingston and 4 hrs from MB. Menu is very limited but food is good. Highly recommended!!
This is definitely a very exclusive and luxury place. We loved it. The staff is simple amazing and make you feel very comfortable. The room in unbelievable. So big, has everything you need, beautiful private pool just by the ocean, so silent and calm. The food is very good also, the dinner with the Jazz Band was amazing. It has been one of the most exclusive stays we ever had in our lifes. We loved every single part of it. Special thanks for the notice by the front desk of the turtles being released at Frenchmans Cove, it was such a nice experience to watch. I would love to come back some time in my life. Thanks for everything Trident Hotel!!!
Whilst only being able to stay for a couple of nights, this was a great location with lovely grounds, great staff and excellent food. Rooms were clean and well appointed and a great overall atmosphere.
Port Antonio is my favorite travel destination of all time. Next to GeeJam, the Trident is one of the top hotels I have enjoyed. It’s open ocean-front location, and modern elegance create a ambiance of tropical luxury. Stay during the Boston Beach Jerk Fest for an authentic, off the beaten path, Jamaican experience.
We stayed there for 5 nights, this hotel exceeded our expectations. Since our arrival we were very impressed with the beauty of the hotel and landscape. Room are more than beautiful, they have a private garden with plunge pool. Hotel has a man-made beach small but nice. Infinity pool is just amazing as well as the gym, you have all what you need and more. We ate almost every day at hotel restaurant, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Food was great, fresh and tasty. What really makes the difference, though, is the people working there, starting from GM, an incredible nice person to reception, restaurant, Spa and beach staff. I couldn't mention them all but what I can say is they are so nice and friendly in a genuine way that you really feel at home. This is what makes your holiday really "special" We had a chance to visit the castle, linked to the property with a nice path behind the Spa (I forgot to mention it, just amazing) and the Helipad. It's a perfect spot for wedding, it really worth while a visit. The GM was so nice and attentive, we had a lunch together close to where he leaves and he showed us the beauty of the surrounding hills. Definitely recommended. We will come back soon.…
