This is one of the best hotels to stay in Portland. The cost is relatively cheap and it includes a good breakfast that you can choose from. The breakfast menu is a cycle menu where a particular dishes are serves on specific days. The staff are friendly. The location is central. Howerver, its not a large hotel and it does...

We originally booked 3 nights but glad we only stayed 2. Ok the positives, staff were friendly, bed comfy and the preordered breakfast was good. We had no problem with hot showers and the bedroom had plenty of storage space. Good central location. Areas for improvement, buffet breakfast was pretty bad, rooms smelled of mothballs and the whole place had...

The staff were polite, except for the manager, who did not make himself available or amenable for guest feedback. The room was clean and comfortable. Free wifi available though cuts out almost constantly. The worst problem was the water. The frequent lack was apparently due to the poor service of the local supplier. However, the hotel claims they have a...

My sister and I stayed in one of the cottages and my uncles stayed in one of the standard rooms for 3 nights. Upon checking in my sister and I were taken to our cottage which was actually across the road, separate from the property. Had we known this, we probably would have opted out of the cottage and stayed...

We did not have hot water here for each of. the 3 days of my stay. When we checked in our room wasn't ready so they gave us an "upgrade". That upgrade was from a queen room to a room with two full beds without a few of the average hotel amenities; an iron, useable wifi, and hot water. We...

The staff was very nice and the hotel was nice and clean. Also in a convenient area to everything. I did NOT like that all the rooms did not come with t.v's.We had to pay for an upgrade because the t.v's are in the premium rooms. Which I think all rooms no matter the size should have a t.v some...

On the first look the Hotel seems to be okay. Room is big and beds have white sheets. In Port Antonio are not as many hotels so we choose these. But we would not do it again. We got a room directly besides the kittchen and the breakfast room. In the evening there was very loud noises from the kittchen...

I just got back to my bungalow in New York, what a drab. I missed the exceptional service from the staff and the delicious food at Hotel Tim Bamboo. I cant wait for my next visit to Jamaica. The buffet on a Sunday is to die for. Everything on the table was good.I cant remember the name of the porridge...
