We've stayed in this little, cozy hotel several times and have never been disappointed! Simply put, it's paradise! It sits in the middle of a lush, tropical garden and has a swimming pool for guests to enjoy. The rooms are all very spacious, clean, and have huge beds. The bathrooms have hot/cold water with very good water pressure and the rooms have air conditioning. Fabio (owner) has a big heart and makes sure his guests have everything they need. The location of this hotel is superb, it's right on the main and literally across the street from the entrance of Frenchmans Cove Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in Jamaica. There's also an Italian restaurant on the hotel property, and the pizza here is the best!...although I also love the Rasta Pasta. Prices for staying in this hotel are very reasonable, considering what you get. The property's garden is very well kept and clean, the pool always looks fresh and inviting. San San Beach is a 5-minute walk away, and you are very close to Port Antonio, about 10 or 15 minutes by car. Going the other way, you are close to Boston Bay's famous jerk and just a few minutes past Boston is Long Bay. All these spots are easily reached from this perfectly located hotel. Breakfast is also available for hotel guests, with good coffee! Give this place a try, it's nice to get spoiled here.

We spent 3 nights in this hotel. Our stay was ok. The location is super, being only a few meters from Frenchman's Cove beach. But the best thing was the staff. Denise and Davian were really kind, helping us in an incredible way every time they could! Thank you!!!

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The rooms were named after fruits and had a great concept. It was very affordable and the pool was a good size and was clean. The breakfast offering which was complimentary was okay! Overall it was a good experience and I enjoyed my stay. Not the best villa offering in Portland, however it is by far one of the most affordable. It is also close to Blue lagoon and other popular beaches.

Rather disappointing. What a shame this establishment has been allowed to get run down. What breaks does not get fixed, what runs out does not get replenished and what is advertised on their site is not applicable. There is no wifi in rooms, no free beach access available as contract not renewed with San San beach and turquoise pool is greenish and murky due to inadequate chemicals. On the plus side the staff in particular the chef was extremely friendly. Fabio, owner could be heard a lot of the time in a heated argument with his partner which was not particularly pleasant hearing lots of swearing. Another plus is that the villa is almost directly opposite Frenchmans Cove and for US$10 each you can use the beach and have a nice inexpensive meal and cocktail. The location is a long way from Port Antonio but close to Blue Lagoon and is located on the high side of main road which is good and is not noisy from passing traffic. Please give the place a lick of paint, replace the 6 rusting/ broken banana chairs, replace broken air conditioning units, soap dispensers and I would then consider a higher rating.

A decent looking place with a bohemian vibe in a peaceful and beautiful location. The staff was friendly, courteous, and eager to help where they could. But issues with this place abound. Ganja smoke was evident from the moment we arrived at the front area of the hotel and was also evident around the grounds as staff and guests alike partook often. The smell was evident the moment we got out of the car in the small but adequate parking area. The grounds and pool area are well maintained, daily, and look nice. The pool deck furniture is rusted and heavily worn and their webbing sags so deeply that it does not look like they will even support a person's weight. We didn't test this. The included breakfast was decent. The eating/restaurant area echoes quite a bit and can be very loud when several people are there and talking at once. Though we heard/read good things about the restaurant, we did not try the restaurant for dinner(different chef). Nor did we notice anyone else in there for dinner, but this may have just been timing. The sliding glass door entry to the room was impeded by worn door tracks and an unwillingness to slide. The lock was so worn that the key works right-side-up or upside-down, despite not being that kind of lock. I'm pretty sure even a paper clip would work for a key should a hard rattle not unlock the door. The back window that affords a spectacular jungle canopy view was obscured by algae growing on the exterior of the glass. The room floor was painted, pealing, and dirty. There was mold on the bathroom walls and ceiling despite the smell of bleach. Also, the initial smell of bleach-killed algae in the shower was not pleasant, though it did seem to abate after a day or so. Even the bedroom artwork/paintings had mildew/mold on them. Though water pressure was usually good, there was no water one evening and hot water was rarely available when we needed it at around 7am. Though one day it was scalding. The toilet, with its broken and glued together tank lid, seemed to take a long time to lazily flush and never properly cleared the bowl of even just one square of paper without a second or third full flush. The bidet, despite being unused by us, sprung a leak during the first night leaving a large puddle of suspicious water to step in first thing in the morning. Thankfully it was fresh inlet water and not drain water. Lighting in the room was ludicrously poor and other guests reported the same. The room needs more lights and/or much higher output bulbs. The very small TV attached to the wall did turn on but did not receive any signal from the cable box, just a blank solid blue no input screen. While the bed was comfortable and the air conditioning in our room did work, there were reports of it not working well or at all in other rooms. WiFi was too slow to be used for remote working, with speed tests reporting less than 1Mbps up or down. I'm pretty sure it's rebroadcast MiFi cellular service. WiFi worked for the first couple of days and then stopped completely for the remaining days we were there. Based on the price I wasn't expecting the Ritz, sadly though, this place like much of Port Antonio and San San is old, dilapidated, and in need of renovation.
