We are actually still here…this hotel makes you feel that you are royal or even someone famous (even if you are as many celebrities visit this hotel). You are greeted with a cool towel, and after taking care of our business we were absolutely amazed at the beauty of this place. Everyone who works here is absolutely so nice and helpful. They are willing to do whatever they need to to make you happy! And the chef is absolutely amazing!!! This is not necessarily a place for family, but a place for couples or those who are just looking to relax and get away. VERY quiet! Outside of swimming, jumping off cliffs, snorkeling, massages, and a pool table, there aren’t many activities. But for those of us who live a busy life, sometimes you don’t need much. Just to bask in the beauty of God‘s creation. The mangoes, the drinks, did I say the food? The service, it was all amazing! Oh, and the room was so beautiful, the view, the balcony, the hammock that put me to sleep aaahhh… Everything you see online is what you get. Unlike many places here. Don’t hesitate to book!…
I am not easily impressed, but this hotel had us in awww. As soon as we drove up in the taxi they greeted us with a refreshing ginger type beverage - it was good (virgin)…Checking in was quick and easy. It is so clean, fresh and airy, and open in the lobby. The art work on the walls is well appointed. It’s the minimalist feeling like I like. It’s just enough decor with unique designs, but not to much. My husband and I were here for his birthday and our anniversary. We walked in our room and they had decorated it with balloons, and left us a bottle of champagne with a note! We loved it! We came from 4 days in MoBay from S Hotel, we regret that we didn’t just come here and stay for the entire 7 days. The staff were all professional, helpful and courteous! I would have loved to stay in a villa with an outside tub. Next time we will. I didn’t know that our deluxe suite did not have a tub, but everything else quickly settled my short lived disappointment. I didn’t pay attention to what I was getting in the room and some how thought our room would have a tub. The food at the restaurant is pricey but good. If you don’t want to leave the hotel it’s worth it, but if you are open to exploring, there’s tons of restaurants down the street where one can pay half the price for good food. The hotel is so beautiful that one does not want to leave! A food delivery service would be excellent! Like Door Dash or Uber Eats or something. I wanted to go on more excursions but didn’t want to leave the hotel. I wanted to enjoy all our time on the premises… If I come back to Jamaica this will be my spot. We love contemporary new decor and this hotel fits our taste. If I have to say anything negative, it would be that we didn’t find out about the mosquito lamp thingy that was in the drawer until after I was bit 2xs. I did kill a couple of mosquitoes, and I was a little agitated that they were sharing our bathroom. I wish I had known the mosquito killing lamp gadget was in the drawer on day one. Our bath room walls could have use some paint, it looked like the steam from all the showers is beginning to wear the paint off the walls and the ceiling in the bathroom. There’s a few spots of touch paint being used in the room sleeping area that was obvious, so it could be time to paint the entire room. It is very small things that could be updated (refrigerator it’s old, but works), but none of these things changed our opinion that this is an AMAZING Beautiful hotel! I wished the all inclusive packages would have been more reasonable here, I thought it was pricey to pay $400 a day for 2 people to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner with only one restaurant to choose from. I have paid $1000 for 4 days with several choices of restaurants, there’s only one restaurant here, and while the food is good - choices are slim. There’s 1 menu with the same choices every day for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I wish there had been more variety and choices in food options and dinning options. But, there’s a lot of places near to eat all kinds if food. The Cliff Hotel arranged our pick up from Mo Bay, and our pick up to take us to the airport. They also arranged a Covid Test right on the premises, and it was a easy quick process with results ready in 5 minutes, so we can get on our flight back to the US tomorrow. I would give the hotel 6 stars if I could. You will not be disappointed. If you can afford it - splurge for a villa.…
Our family stayed here for a week, and it was truly the best boutique hotel experience we’ve ever had. The staff and food were top-notch, mellow yet thoughtful with every detail. The beds were very plush and comfortable, and we loved the outdoor spaces and location. Can’t wait to stay again.
We love The Cliff Hotel and this was our second visit! It did not disappoint. We had actually booked to stay on the beach and after one night, we called The Cliff to see if there was availability. Thankfully, there was! We were so happy to be back in our serene, relaxing spot. We had the most wonderful welcome back from the Manager Vernon and his staff, all of whom are wonderful. The food is really delicious and we honestly can’t wait to go back! The views are amazing and the rooms are really nice, crisp and clean and very well appointed. They also all have nice views! Thank you to the whole fabulous team!
I did a ton of research before settling on The Cliff when we just went to Jamaica. A TripAdvisor Travelers Choice winner for 2021, I knew it would be reliable and enjoyable. I wasn't ready for how wonderful the staff was. We've had fantastic service before, but this staff went beyond that - we learned about their lives and they about ours, we learned about the rich history of Jamaica, and it's beautiful present. Everyone knew our names by the first morning we were there! All of this was set against an absolutely breathtaking backdrop, with fantastic food. Zest was very, very good, and the service was fantastic. The saltwater pool was my absolute favorite part of the "beach" area, and the three different bars were all great. Our room was gorgeous, immaculate, and comfortable. The beds were comfy, the air conditioning was great, the showers were just right. We had Villa Four (a four-bedroom villa), and it was spacious and airy - everything was even better than the photos and videos online. (I'd definitely recommend checking those out!) Thank you, Cliff Hotel, for a wonderful stay. We'll be back!…
Amazing experience. Clean, beautiful, peaceful, friendly staff. Will definitely go there again if in Jamaica. There are many choices of hotels in that area especially by the 7 mile beach but this hotel was much cleaner and well kept than the other hotels and completely worth the money.
Had an amazing stay at the a The Cliff. Beautiful property , excellent staff, and stellar service. The Spa is a must treatment in the open air space with the sound of the waves is just next level. I’ll certainly be back.
The Cliff Hotel is paradise. Rooms are airy and spacious. Towels and robes are plush and feel brand new. The grounds are stunning. The hotel was full to capacity but it felt like we had our own private haven. We spent morning on the cliff, and afternoons by the pool. We were there for a wedding on site and it was beautiful and joyful - the best wedding I’ve ever been to. (The Cliff has a wedding planner). Most of all though - the staff are your guardian angels. Everyone was so kind and thoughtful- big shout out to Rochelle in dining and Giovanni at the front desk - from the General Manager, room service, dining, recreation (yoga/Thai Chi), life guards, pool bar team, house keeping. EVERYONE provided exceptional customer service and made us feel so welcome. We can’t wait to return. Oh and the food is fantastic. I ate the Jamaican breakfast every day. ONE LOVE!…
Amazing from beginning to end! The views, the resort, the food, the staff…all top notch. We had the entire resort to ourselves for our wedding guests and it was PERFECT! Yanique, our wedding planner, had everything under control and served up a weekend we won’t soon forget. Everyone on staff was so friendly and accommodating. The masseuses!! I can honestly say our stay was one of the top experiences, we have ever had at a hotel. Like others, have mentioned it is not only a breathtaking property, but it is the people who work there that make the experience exceptional. They are genuine and respond to every request, "no problem," going out of their way to insure that you are having the best possible time. Giovanni greeted us upon arrival gave us a tour of our villa and made great recommendations throughout our stay. The guys at the cliff bar, O' mighty, LT, Adrian, you not only know how to make fantastic drinks with names concocted like "Happy Lady," but you provided the best atmosphere for some great laughs. I hold you totally responsible for our lack of venturing out, because we were having so much fun. Book a massage when you arrive, because before you leave the treatment room, you will book another, I promise. Carolyn gave me one of the best massages I have ever had, and my only regret was I booked it toward the end of our trip, so I ran out of time to have another treatment. The food was outstanding, especially the watermelon salad, and the Jerk chicken pasta, and the fact that room service is not extra is a nice touch. Ramona and Demon work incredibly hard at Zest. But just to give an example of the level of service, I ordered 2 cappuccinos to be delivered to the villa every morning at 8 am, and like clockwork at 8 o'clock every morning of our stay, they were placed on a table just outside our door. On the last morning we had an early departure and to be honest we knew it was all we could do to grab breakfast before leaving and I forgot to mention we would need an earlier delivery. Well, at exactly 1 hour earlier, I looked outside and without any instruction, the time for our coffee delivery was adjusted and appeared like magic on our veranda, now that is service. Vernon, it was a pleasure meeting you and should be so proud of your team they are quite impressive, and we will definitely be back for another stay at The Cliffs.…
