    ...we got checked into our rooms with a Concierge lady we got bracelets which get you in your room and food dining they said don't lose it cost I believe 150 USD. After the bag guy showed us our room which was on the 3rd-floor witch didn't like they were clean but could use updating pool right outside also pools all around the hotel complex there are 6 restraints on premisses lots of bars and swim-up bars there are 2 sides adult only and family side we stayed on the family side our beds were large and comfortable our rooms were cool showers weren't bad but the water was cold 2 times that wasn't cool... Room service was like 30 to 45 min but they did a good job our maids did a good job but you need to stay on top of the hotel with restocking water we had too all staff was friendly at dining entertainment was great plenty of music and activities for the couples lifeguard Chris was some he watched over us and took care us plenty free water activities...

Instead, I was forced to stay in a moldy room for one night and only moved to a second room the next day after I decided to camp out at the front desk for hours waiting for a manager to be available to speak to me (I was told only a manager could swap my room)... Most rooms have patio doors that don't lock, including the first-floor swim-up suites... Neither of my first two rooms had working patio locks... Rooms are not accurately described, and there are very few actual Ocean view rooms at the resort... The premium rooms are not all created equally; I recommend avoiding buildings 8 & 9 altogether... Staff told me that the limited sunlight is why the rooms get moldy and items don't dry out...

    what a rip off company , dodgy karisma hotels you have to pay room deposit when you get there which nobody tells you about and then when you leave they pretend that your deposit will be refunded by the time you get home and they never refund you because they pocket the room deposits ... good luck to those who try to get room refund back ...

Restaurants are mediocre at best,avoid the buffet at all costs,assuming you can reserve one of the 3 available a la carte restaurants ,the Italian being the best option... Not a 5 star hotel,much better option by far is the royalton down the road,a proper job...

In addition although all inclusive, they ran out of vodka every day by 4ish... That and wine are the only two alcohols I drink and the wine choices were terrible... Besides that, they have sales people on site that continually bother you...

    Firstly I called 2 weeks before my arrival to make sure I had a room on the first floor as well as 2 days prior to my arrival, low and behold no first floor swim ups available... The check in lady said there was one available at a price by this time I had been there 15min when she went to ask her supervisor she came back said oh no that gentleman that just got there upgraded to it... I was angry and hungry and the only thing to eat was the restaurant next to the pool of course the food was terrible... The pool closes at 5pm yes 5PM which is crazy for a resort... I would say save your money and stay somewhere else... I decided to spend the extra money and stay here vs RIU and honestly it was the same thing... Definitely better to stay at Sandals...

    I will start by saying the hotel is beautiful at a first glance, however the hotel definitely needs so do some upgrades of buildings 1-4 as they are small old and not up to standard for the money being charged...     Well definitely not 4/5 * I must say I am very disappointed with the standard of room and food... The food in these was at best average having to book days in advance to get in... ( Even though the resort wasn't busy)We got asked if we would like to look at becoming a premium member which was only going to take 45 in reality it was over 2 hrs and ended up with them trying to pressure us into a timeshare... This then put are backs up and wanted to leave ( your not going to sign anything without them) let alone £17500!!...

    Me and my partner went for my birthday, it was such a lovely hotel from the start, swim up rooms was lovely, swim up bars great, beach was gorgeous, staff helpful and fun, food and drink i thought personally was really nice! Different variety each day, all tasted lovely, the drinks and cocktails all tasted lovely, not cheap and nasty which is sometimes what you get when you go to all inclusive, sun loungers all the time you can get, mini bar daily stocked up, beach/pool towels can get anytime and how ever many you would like, totally different to a all inclusive in Europe!...

James at the beach helped us with chairs and towels... We ate breakfast at the Palms each day... Kaydene and Neresha took good care of us there... What a pleasant, good natured and caring woman... Brandi served us both evenings at the Italian and set up a special table with flowers for us on my wife's birthday... Vesper served us both evenings at the Asian Restaurant... Veser is also a fine, hardworking, caring woman... All said, it is the employees that make this resort special... The management should be proud of the individuals specifically mentioned since they each made an effort to make our trip both special and rememberable...

Shanika (sp) at the West End made the best iced coffee and was super sweet each morning, half way through our trip I didn’t even need to give her my order, she would just start making it... Jojo and Ms.K in the kids club/Azulitos were fantastic... They did so many activities with the kids in our group and the girls looked forward to going every day... The on-site water excursions activities were super affordable and easy- they pick you up right from the beach!... Antoinette and Treica (sp) at the Hibiscus swim up bar were true angels and made our kid free afternoons perfect... No one was pushy or trying to sell us timeshares/memberships, which was great... I realized my first day when every chair had a towel on it by 6:30 am… yet the resort was dead and no one was up... Seems like you need to tip someone to put out towels/hold your spot...

I have been to many resorts, and on paper, this one is like so many others - however, once you are here, you realize how much better the service and staff are compared to others... We didn't run into a single staff member that wasn't helpful... Highly recommend visiting Negril and staying a Azul...

    ...We arrived late which is understandable the buffet was almost close so we didn’t thought too much of it when we saw there was not alot a options to choose from, anyway I notice one thing the buffet is too small for an all inclusive hotel means even if they should have lots of option there’s not enough space to display them, the decision to place hot rice in a crackle plate is not a good idea the AC is on plus the rice gets cold easily in my opinion I think the chef needs more option to work with, all the staff are active and willing to work and do their job to the best of their ability but they need the assistance and support from the owner of the hotel the buffet should be upgraded with more space so more food can be displayed and they need the warmer to keep certain things warm like rice and some other food type like ground provisions... The hotel is nice but managers and hotel owners must be prepared to serve any form of guest and not just tourist but also locals... Shout out to the waiters and waitress in the main buffet and the lady who did my happy birthday balloons and stuff in the room also shout out to Tara Lee in the ackee restaurant...

The executive chef was always around checking on our dining experience... Brett at the beach ensured everyday we had chairs and cabanas... JR at the beach was so engaging with all guests and of course Bones for entertainment and checking on us to ensure we were having a good time... The beach is beautiful but no direct beach views, we did move our rooms around for various reasons and we were not delayed or felt over reaching... We never felt crowded even though I am sure as it was Thanksgiving vacation week it was a full house...

The staff at the bar, Cedric & Damien and the butlers, Huie & Stefan were absolutely amazing and a huge part of our holiday... The breakfast buffet was good, and the omelette station was my favourite!... Some reviews have said that they run out of orange juice, they do as it is a popular breakfast drink but then they refill it 5 minutes later so this was not a problem at all...

    ...Our accommodations was very spacious and comfortable, loved the extra large bathroom/Vanity/shower area, and our his and her closet space was ideal, and a nice surprise I put it on a private butler was the icing on the cake, and we enjoyed every moment of our private server for drinks and food during the day while at the beach in our designated Chase space right by the Corredor leading to our room... Make sure you make reservations to soon as you get there because they get very busy especially at the popular times... The staff was very friendly and most can’t do enough for you... Make sure you tip a couple dollars each time you have a meal or sit by the bar, they truly appreciate it and need it...

Marion made my birthday breakfast very special, decorating table with beautiful flowers... Overall, all mahagony staff was awesome... Captain Noel is the best there, he made my son's vacation most memorable, always keeping him busy and customizing excursions... Captain Noel and his crew are the best!... My husband and I were also at the beach most of the time and our beach crew took the best care of us, many thanks to Crystal, Daryl and Dave!... Crystal surprised me on my birthday by decorating my beach pod so beautifully, with a bottle of champagne, things like that make anyone's vacation more special... Beach activity guy JR will keep your day fun if you into beach sports activities, he's fun and very nice...

The staff can't do enough for you and are always trying their best to make your stay the best it can be... I need to give a special mention to Damian and Cedrick at the Poinsettia pool bar...     ...Because we are timeshare owners we used interval international and received premium services trough the resorts premier membership club Prestige Travelers. We received a complimentary premium car (remember to tip the driver) to take us to the resort... We had private check in which took minutes... The employees are phenomenal and they are the best part of the resort experience... I just want to say the staff did their best to assist, however, when the operations manager Lorna got involved, she resolved our issue and provided us a room that was just right and even better than what we had... Please note, we arrived on Sunday, and Lorna's first day of work was that Monday, however, her professionalism and take-charge attitude led me to believe she had been their longer... The restaurant staff was on point with the service though they were sometimes very busy... There was a few weddings going on at the same time and it gave me the opportunity to see how well this resort prepared for that including constructing these beautiful and amazing structures that were just for the wedding party... Overall, despite any hiccups during our stay, the management and staff did their best to accommodate us and made our experience 5-star... Thank you Azul Beach Resort Negril for an amazing memory...

    ...The hotel views and position on the beach are great but the rooms were not cleaned daily, the food in the buffet was dry and everything was over cooked and very small portions in the other restaurants... Kawayne the lifeguard was a top guy by sorting out our sun loungers for the ten days and had all the answers to any of our questions... The minibar wasn’t restocked very often, the soap and shampoo etc wasn’t either... The burgers and Jerk chicken were very good as well as the ice cream...

    ...So the rooms are big enough and very clean!! Lovely sea view and the resort itself is beautiful... We had breakfast every day at the palms restaurant and it was great... Our host KAYDENE was so friendly and remembered our names every day... Bbq on the beach Thursday and Sunday at lunch is really nice we loved these days and likewise dinner bbq on a Wednesday evening was lovely... The shows in the evening were good 👍🏼 We hung around the adults pool bar mostly and antoinette and Cedric really looked after us making us fabulous cocktails...

    The property is beautiful and is located on the 7 mile beach... They said they gave us a room upgrade but they didn’t really… it has a modern feel but ours did not have a tub… Also the minibar was not stocked and was never stocked while we were there... There is a sunset dinner that you can arrange to pay for at $110 per couple...

    Recently returned from an amazing 9 nights stay at Azul beach resort. Would highly recommend this hotel, the resort is beautiful and the staff are amazing... The staff go above and beyond to ensure that your stay is the best... They exceeded all expectations and catered to all of our needs, nothing was ever too much bother... Huie and Stevon - our butlers who ensured our mini fridge was always stocked up and made sure we had everything we needed... JR and all the entertainment staff were amazing throughout, they always made sure we had a good time... We booked a swim up room, which was really nice however our bathroom was very small, we seemed to be one of the only ones in the block (that we’d spoken to) without a double sink... However the bedroom was spacious and the bed was comfy... The maid was great, replaced our towels daily and kept our room clean and tidy for the whole trip... The resort has 6 restaurants as well as 2 gourmet corners and a coffee shop with the best Jamaican patties!... The highlight for us was Poinsettia swim up bar, the cocktails are all freshly made with premium/branded alcohol and fresh ingredients... The dirty banana cocktail and bloody Mary’s are a must!!!... Overall I would highly recommend staying at this resort as we are already planning our next trip back!...

Nothing really too special with our room itself, besides the swim out area and we were on the adults only section so that was nice... The resort stretches a long way down the beach and all of it is stunning... Food was good, entertainment was always fantastic and we really enjoyed the Jamaican night on the beach... We did a sunset dinner on the beach, which is an added expense but definitely recommend it...

    We first heard about the Azul hotel through Instagram and loved what we saw so went ahead and booked it... We stayed for 2 weeks at Azul on block 1, adults only side with a swim up room, which was luxury and could swim right over to the pool bar... We was also a stones through away from the 7 mile beach and could see the sunset every night from our room... On arrival we was greeted with a rum punch and very friendly staff members on reception who checked us in and a lovely friendly bell boy, Dean who showed us to our room and round the resort... Next day we met with Alex the TUI rep in the lobby who made us feel very welcome and talked us through the hotel, excursions which we could do and just Jamaica in general... Our room was cleaned everyday, mini bar all stocked up, we was very well looked after, I’ve never visited anywhere before where every single staff member has a smile on their face daily... There is such a wide variety of food choices/snacks and premium drinks available to you all throughout the day... Cedrick and Damion especially, went above and beyond every single day, for not only us but every person around that pool and along the beach... They entertained us all with magic tricks and surprising us daily with special cocktails...

Response each time, “Maintenance is working on it!” Friend told me the owner would arrive the following day, informed front desk that owner would not be too happy to find out customers have no hot water and front desk responded, “No owner will arrive here tomorrow!” Owner arrived... Went back to front desk for last time and told them to move us to a room with hot water... We travel a lot and we have experienced many places that provide way better service and amenities as promised... There are many more options in Negril that provide better options that will not ruin or make your vacation a bad experience... You work hard and you deserve to go to an all inclusive where they respect their customers enough to take care of them as advertised...

    ...Friendly, kind & attentive staff take care of you the entire time!... Our beach butler Talicia is wonderful!... She took care of us and made us feel so pampered!... Waylon, our concierge was wonderful as well... Bartenders, hostesses & wait staff got to know us personally all week... We had drinks handed to us without us asking for another... We had our own personal dj who played requests daily which made our pool bar experience incredible!... Bars everywhere and the views are incredible!... Not dirty at all, no bugs at all & Def never lost power... The staff makes this resort 5 star!... The beach makes this resort 5 star!... If you want better tv's and rooms then you shouldn't be at a beach resort!...

    ...I traveled to this resort to celebrate my mom's birthday. Because we are timeshare owners we used interval international and received premium services trough the resorts premier membership club Prestige Travelers... We received a complimentary premium car (remember to tip the driver) to take us to the resort... We had private check in which took minutes... The resort is big and stretches along the beach, as there is plenty of space to walk off those healthy and hearty meals... Plus side of eating that he Mahogany restaurant, you get a view of the wedding reception through the picturesque glass window of the Mahogany restaurant... Thank you Azul Beach Resort Negril for an amazing memory...

    ...The entire resort was in covid mode, and we were unable to enjoy many of the restaurants and facilities within the hotel that were shut down... The main entrance and lobby is met with a pool and pool deck that is literally falling apart, and for the most part, we were just shocked at how run down the entire place is... The room was a double bed, with a 'pull out' couch... The absolute worst part of my trip was forgetting my shampoo and conditioner, and attempting to use the hotel's brand... The beach on the other hand was fantastic, water was beautiful... Bring some floaties, as the resort loans them out but they are often in use... One thing we did gain from this trip was we used Easy Breezy Tours for our direct transfer back to the airport....amazing, efficient, reasonably priced...

Let me start by telling you I have travelled all around the world visiting numerous hotels and resorts, from bad to worse to good to amazing ones. I always try my best to be honest and take everything into consideration, from price, country, location and ect. This is not a 5 star resort. It s leaning towards 4 stars but honestly it can be an amazing 3 stars resort. Let us start with PROS: Resort looks amazing, perfect size for people who like to enjoy beach because even the furthest room is less then 5 minutes from the beach. Grounds are kept tidy and clean. Lots of flora and fauna around the grounds. Everything si clean. Rooms are sizable and cleaned daily without any complaints, even can easily say that was the best part of the entire stay. Shout out to Pauline, our cleaning lady who was amazing. Secondly beach is beautiful Such a nice stretch of sand beach with almost powdery trxture of sand which felt amazing under our feets. Water is calm and warm Sometimes even had trouble to get refreshed with water being so warm, but not a problem, in fact a plus for me. Now to the CONS and there are far more unfortunately. Firstly I would like to mention that we were a group of 4 and we travelled a long way to be greated poorley by reception staff. There was no Welcome, there was no We are happy you chose our resort. From the moment we stepped into the resort we never had any positive feedback from reception staff. Worst part of the resort, immediately needs to be done something about that. We got so many positive things to say about people working around hotel, people working at restaurants, bars, housekeeping and maintenance. Reception should learn a thing or two from them and how to put a smile on peoples faces daily. But the staff problem doesn't stop there. There is a huge lack of communication between departments. We came to celebrate a birthday and after ordering and paying for a cake the cake hasn t even been delivered properly. I have to say that there was one person who handled the situation and resolved everything properly, her name is Carene and she works as a Customer service officer. I mean they should just promote her and give her a raise becasue she was just amazing with us. Another problem was the little things we noticed around resort, things we expect from a 5 star resort. Like breakfast. The choice was poor, repetetive and there was no alternative for people who don t eat gluten. Same for lunch and dinner A lot of fish, but a lot of people do not eat fish or any kind of sea food and the choice was poor. And the opening times It was impossible to predict anything We didn t get any information at our arrival, they just told us we should download an app an we will fund everything there. Well that was a big fat lie. Even though the idea of an app sounds good, it was faulty There was never a information that was 100% correct and you couldn t make a reservation for restaurants but you had to go to Concierge directly. Indormation given on the app was hit and a miss. We walked so many times to a bar or restaurant which was closed. Also several times we couldn't order a simple cocktails because the barmen didn t have blender since apperently there is only one the all share. There are alse many small things I could mention but it could go on and on. To sum up, a lot of work to be done but still a good resort.

Hotel's Favorite
My husband & I were married at Azul on 2/7/23. We had about 30 people join us and we had the most amazing time. Yes, there were minor maintenance issues like a leaking shower and air conditioner. I also know that we are in Jamaica and not the US. The staff, the beach, the food and drinks were fabulous. Most of the staff went above and beyond to please us and greet us daily. We did not have a butler assigned to us it honestly didn’t matter. Our group always found a place to put towels and the drinks were strong. We enjoyed the crystal clear water and sunshine everyday. We purchased some snorkeling gear from the small shop next to the resort because we snorkeled several times a day. We did also take advantage of the use of kayaks several times. Security was present along the beach and if you didn’t want to talk to the local dealers they would send them on their way. We fully enjoyed eating at Garfield’s for lunches and favored the Italian restaurant at night. We all were able to find food that we enjoyed regardless of the time of day. The staff truly make the resort though. Simone & Dwight helped with our wedding, Bones & Ford kept us laughing and Safari and Antoinette made sure we were well hydrated. It was an amazing trip & we can’t wait to come back!

I had a fantastic experience at Azul Beach Resort Negril. The manager, Lorna Satahoo-Clarke, attention to detail, customer-centric approach, and dedication to ensuring a seamless stay for guess truly stood out. Her leadership reflects in the well-trained and courteous staff, immaculate room, and overall positive atmosphere. I highly recommend this hotel and kudos to Ms. Satahoo-Clarke and the management team for creating such a welcoming environment.

The report is beautiful the staff are friendly which is unusual for Jamaica. The food is horrible, the worst I’ve had in Jamaica and I’ve been over 10 times. For the price you pay it should have all the bells and whistles but it does not. Even the jerk chicken was awful, so disappointed. Also our swim up sliding door never locked and they pretended to fix it after I called 3 times. No hot water around dinner time. I could never get condensed milk for my coffee, everyday it was out. There was no curtsy room available as we had to check out earlier than we were getting picked up. One pool was out of service the whole week and the entertainment was just okay. Over all not worth the money, RIU and Royalton much better.Side note the fireman’s lobster house saved me, the sea good was amazing, just on the beach at the end of Azuls beach.

I have read a number of reviews for November which rated Azul as terrible, it is NOT. If you are expecting a 5 Star resort then you will be disappointed, it is probably 3 Star. We did not pay 5 Star prices and were not particularly disappointed. We had a lovely holiday there despite the several shortcomings of the hotel. The rooms are large, the beds are big and comfortable, the balconies are large and well furnished. As to shortages, no ice cream for most of our two weeks stay, certain bars did not have tonic but it was always available even though one reviewer said it wasn’t. White wine was always available although there was no red wine in one restaurant for one meal. Generally branded drinks were available although some bars ran out of Gordon’s Gin but still had other branded gins. Beach towels were not available one day so we used our room towels. Sometimes creamer or teabags were not topped up. Staff were very friendly and helpful- could not have been better. We always found sun beds and a cabana without tipping. All in all hotel could have been better but we still had a lovely holiday.

Pastika made sure we had the best time, telling us the best cocktails, letting us sit in the vip area without minimum spend. And making sure we were accommodated the entire time. When you come ask for Pastika and he will look after you. All staff were lovely as well. Pool is great and cocktails taste great

After staying at this resort in 2016 we decided to book this hotel again for my 50th birthday. However 3 days into the holiday we were ready for home. Where do I start…. Restaurants were poor food was terrible if they had any as ran out of quite a few things. Didn’t have quite a few drinks like bottled water, white wine, Diet Coke, lime, tonic water. mango. Cans of red stripe,. Sprite. Thats just a few! And if you were lucky enough to get a drink you actually liked it was served in a paper cup! (This is evening after dinner!) Room was damp (block 8) swim up room. Wardrobes never closed . Clothes had to be sent to be laundered as smelt from the damp. Room never got cleaned for 4 days also mini bar was rarely stocked up. No clean beach towels some days. Beach beds were dirty and ripped! This hotel needs to be down graded to a 3 star it’s certainly no where near a 5! Avoid this hotel it’s shocking!

Where do I begin, my now wife and I chose Azul Beach Resort - Negril to get married 2 years ago and after a long 2 year wait we finally got to see our dreams turn into reality. The wedding team at Azul was beyond words incredible through the whole process, our planner Carla was responsive, knowledgeable and did everything in her power to make sure every detail we requested was brought to life, on top of just being an amazing friendly person. Our big day would not have been the perfect depiction of our imagination with out her. When we arrived for our 10 days stay we were passed over to our on site coordinator Simone, like Carla she was on top of everything and went above and beyond to make sure everything was absolutely perfect. I cannot speak highly enough of the support we received from the wedding team. The resort itself was in immaculate condition with the most beautiful views, stunning beach and an overall fun and elegant vibe. We travelled with a large group and everyone loved their time at Azul, the food was delicious no matter where you went although at times the lunch spots were pretty busy it was made up for with how delicious it was. I truly believe one of the major things that set Azul apart from another other resort was the amazing staff around the resort, from the bartenders like Demain and Damien, to all of the waiters and waitresses, to the reception staff like Shaquille, every single person we dealt with was so incredibly friendly and truly made sure we had the best experience possible. A huge special shout-out to Shari as well, as part of our package we were lucky enough to have a private butler. Let me tell you Shari is an absolute rockstar, at all times of the day Shari was running around and making sure we had everything we needed, on top of being so friendly, she really is a one of a kind special person and made our stay so incredibly memorable. Lastly I want to give a huge shout out to the best bellman in the business Dean. No matter what he was doing he would always make sure to say hello, everyone loved his energy and enthusiasm even while working his butt off in the heat. Azul will always be a special place to us, and we cannot recommend this beautiful place enough.

It pains me to agree with all the terrible posts I'm a very open minded person and don't normally fall into the writing reviews not everywhere is perfect but when you pay over the odds for a 5* gormet hotel I expect something for it the only plus side are the lovley staff ...... Daily no Orange juice Bacon Hash browns told to get up earlier once it's gone it's gone No Tonic water on the island but people were paying staff to bring bottles in daily Cranberry juice Procecco Bottled water only privilege guests White wine Coke Sprite Any decent spirits we had 1 Jack Daniels the day we arrived and told no were not getting any more . Half the menus were not available on a daily . What did come was half the meal missing or cold. Beach BBQ chef was putting RAW chicken on top of cooked chicken One lunch time we asked for white wine only to be brought a glass to share because it's all they had .... The hotel is generally in disrepair all furniture in our room was broken in some king if way ... None of the doors closed they just hung off the hinges when we reported it 5 times to be fixed we just gave up it was same when we left .. Mini bar was filled 3x in 2 weeks we had to beg water for bedtime from other guests as we never received it when reported to reception . It's such a shame as 5yeara ago this resort was amazing it's only reason we went back but I won't be returning .... Anyone from UK going with TUI suck it up buttercup because there not interested they've had your money apparently it's ok to starve for 2 weeks and not have anything to drink when going to a 5* gormet hotel it's just sad 😢
