Travellers Beach Resort is a great little spot towards the upper west end. Service is always great. With Romeo at the bar, you are never disappointed. I always enjoy the staff and appreciate getting to meet the regulars: Rocklin, Katie, Ricky, and it was awesome getting to chat with Sir Wellington at his morning swim. We missed SueAnne but expected (congrats by the way!) you cannot go wrong with a resort that will treat you like family and provide whatever you ask. Top notch resort that is always looking to upgrade the little touches that make the guests feel more welcome and like family. This is a great little spot that we continue to revisit year after year. Thanks

Hotel's Favorite
As soon as Jamaica opened back up for tourist I was there. My family is from Kingston so I am no stranger to the island, I although am usually a patron of larger/ all inclusive hotels. Travellers changed my mind. Its walking distance from the city center making it easy to access restaurants, stores and nightlife. The rooms are super spacious, cozy and clean. The staff was professional, warm and always available. In the event that we weren't in the mood to eat off the property they had an extensive menu of traditional Jamaican dishes as well as more universal choices. Its right on the beach , the water was warm and views generous. My biggest concern was traveling during Covid... they quelled my fears. The entire staff wears masks at all times. They are constantly disinfecting common areas and going above and beyond to ensure the safety of their guests and employees. I was so impressed with the steps they were taking I began writing my review while still there. I highly recommend Travellers Beach Resort.. and when you visit be sure to have the fruit smoothie its delicious!

This hotel has amazing beach access but the pictures are not accurate whatsoever. The lobby is in the process of being renovated which is an eyesore and there is no decoration or personality in this hotel. We had at least two roaches in the room that we stayed in. Wouldn’t stay here again.

Great place to stay for the value. The rooms are average but if you’re on vacation shouldn’t be locked up in your room! Extremely friendly staff, great food, good prices. LOVE the gym and extra activities available (bean bag toss, frisbee, games room). Location on beach avoids the over packed areas, yet everything is still walkable.

We arrived at travellers ( two adults and two children age 8 and 2 ) and from the second we got there the the staff were just incredible! The absolute beauty that greeted us on the reception to our maid even the management I was blown away by how helpful and kind they were. All so attentive and so so welcoming. The rooms are so beautiful you feel like you are in a cottage and the beach is just stunning!!!! Shout out to the lifeguard his energy is wicked we’ve never had anyone make us smile like that singing and dancing all day every day just made it so special for everyone on the beach. We have stayed at the five star royalton in negril and also the Bahia in runaway bay and I would choose travellers over them both there is a lovely warm family feel so to spend our Christmas there and then to get engaged there was SO special we will be back and forever hold travellers in our hearts.
