I just returned from a week at Legends and it was very nice. I've vacationed in Jamaica for 13 years now and this was my first stay at Legends. I stayed all inclusive and room only at many different resorts. I must say that I have been missing out by not staying at legends. I took my 18 year old...

We stayed four nights with the all-inclusive package. I've never been at an all-inclusive place with such awful food. Lunch was literally canned corn beef on Wonder bread and cafeteria fries. Never ever a vegetarian option. One day they served the salad from lunch (a cabbage/pea thing) for dinner by covering it with a layer of wilted lettuce and hoping...

I enjoyed my stay at Legends: without presumption of being a resort, Legends offered everything I needed at a great price. I loved to be able to spend time at Samsara, the "sister hotel" and go there for my diving lessons and cliff jumps, while being able to be back to the beach life in the evening. Great stay!

I want to start by saying that my friend and I went to Legends using a Living Social, all-inclusive 4-night deal. That included three meals a day and all you could drink between the hours of 10am-10pm. Also to be said - this is not a "resort" in the true sense of the word, or at least, in the way...

Love Legends. My friend and I go every year and it's paradise. We like it so much, we plan to go back every year for our annual retreat! No frills -- It's clean, staff is nice, food is great. Opt for a beach side room Don't even think about going there without getting all inclusive Watch out for harassment from...

Please do not be put off by the negative comments made like I was. Stayed as a couple in July on a Bed n Breakfast basis and on the whole had an enjoyable time. The hotel is very basic indeed so if it's 5 star luxury you are after, then this is definitely not the place! But the genuine warmth/friendliness...

Where to begin. Legends was the first getaway package I've ever purchased off groupon, so naturally I was hesitant that it would turn into a 'too good to be true' scenario. In the back of my mind I was always waiting for the catch, but it never came! Legends exceeded all of our expectations! This was my boyfriend and I's...

I was weary about this hotel as i did read some mixed reviews but I have to say I would go back. We went bed and breakfast. The breakfast wasn't great but the chef made good omelettes and always had cereal etc. some of the canteen and bar staff were very pleasant while others could be a bit offish. Reception...

Ok Folks, first of all the hotel is barely a place you would want to lay your head. The staff in the front office is rude and hardly helpful. We had to go pick up our own iron and board. The board was broken and we had to put it on the dresser. Gheeeeeeeto! The water pressure was terrible breakfast,...

Virginia Beach

hey all! planning our honeymoon for december 14/15-20 in Negril, Jamaica! we've been looking at every reosrt that suits our needs but all resorts seem to have the same thing. we really like Couples Swept Away, however, it is on long bay like we would prefer, is it that much nicer than Legends? a lot of reviews say the staff is rude(CSA)- I dont want that ruining it for us! How is everyone is legengs-honestly? I really enjoy the idea of being able to stay at one, play at 2. does all inclusive really mean all inclusve? all drinks food/room service, non motorized water sports? Also, tipping, is it included as well? or is it expected from employees at Legends and Samsara? Couples resorts have a no tipping policy which I like the idea of not having to always have cash and employees wont be standing around waiting to be tipped. (if you do tip, whats a decent one?) We also want good food, and not have to wait 45 min to be acknowledged by a server then another 45 min to get food. (many resorts have reviews of this) I understand the rooms in ANY resort in the Caribbean islands are going to have a bit of "weather-ly love," we're not expecting marble floors and brand new furnishings by any means lol but we want something thats cool when we sleep, good view of the ocean and doesnt stink! Basically we want a decent room, good food, good drinks, and friendly staff that will actually go the extra mile to make our honeymoon fantastic! and sheesh the price difference between Legends and Couples!
