My friends and I had an awesome time at the Mirage. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was delicious every morning. i really enjoyed the tea and the fresh fruits. The view from my room was amazing! The staff was friendly and helpful. What more could you want. I've stayed at all-inclusive resorts in the past, but I had a much better stay here (my personal opinion) it was quiet, no crowds, just what I was looking for. I will definitely be returning. 🇯🇲 🌴 💖
This property is a hidden gem in the west end of Negril, located on the cliffs with access directly to the water. The rooms all face the sea, and have a lovely view of the water, sunsets and boats passing to go to nearby Rick's Cafe. The room was spacious, with a beautiful bathroom, and I had a king size bed. The balcony was large to sit out and enjoy the view! This is a small hotel, I really felt like part of a family staying here. Reece was welcoming from before I checked in - I called the property in advance to confirm details as suggested and felt comfortable from that moment on!! She was friendly and welcoming and provided answers to my many questions. Savanna was the room attendant and provided great service as well. Reece made breakfast each morning except one when Savanna did. The breakfast had a generous amount of fresh fruit, pastry and eggs and toast. The eggs were a nice touch considering I was expecting just a continental breakfast. And delicious coffee of course! Bobby the landscaper / gardener kindly got me some aloe vera after I got bit up by some bugs on the beach one night, it really helped!! They served breakfast on my timeline within reason - I could choose when within their window! The cliffs are breathtaking!! Such a beautiful setting. To get to the beach, I got a ride one morning from the owner, Mr. Daniel Grizzle to go down to the beach, at their sister property Charela. Mr. Grizzle was welcoming and lovely to chat with on the 15 min ride, he shared some of his philanthropic work with as they have a farm nearby and provide eggs to the breakfast programs for a local school, as well as some other charity work ! Other days I was able to get a route taxi to the roundabout and then get another route taxi to go to charela, for a total of about $500 Jamaican dollars, really inexpensive and you get to see more of local life as the route taxi picks up other people as well. You can also ask the hotel to get you a private driver. I would also recommend looking up Vivian Best Tours on Facebook and contacting Vivian for excursions and airport transfers. I didn't go nude, but one guest did while I was there. It's a private discrete property and if that's your thing i think you'll be completely comfortable!! You can walk to Rick's Cafe and I highly recommend doing so. There are also 2 supermarkets within a 5 min walk where you can get snacks and drinks. Loads of restaurants in the area, LTU, 3 dives, Catch a falling star, etc. I plan to return to this beautiful property in the near future! Thank you for taking such good care of me ! …
We stayed here with another couple and primarily picked it as it was clothing optional. Though during the day there was renos happening and we stayed clothed :D Evening in the the pool tho was nice. Reese and Savannah (hope the spelling is correct) where absolutely wonderful to us and our friends. We love this spot and absolutely will return. The spot is very central to many pubs and local groceries etc all in easy walking distance. The breakfast was just the perfect fit and when we brought our own cheese Reese was very accommodating and made us omelettes. Rooms where very clean and beds comfortable. Oh and not last Havana ! Was so cute and funny - all in all a wonderful place and friendly kind people. We fully recommend staying here. Stacy & Crystal
Very quiet, clean and spectacular ocean views. Clothing optional is fine but about 90% of guests do not partake. No bathroom on poolside kind of weird. Alot of steps and spectacular diving off cliffs. Not for ambulatory challenged. All staff very friendly and smiling.
I stayed for a week and enjoyed every minute there. I had a top floor, corner room (109). It was clean and spacious. The King size bed was very comfortable. The A/C and WiFi worked well. The large bathroom had a very nice walk in shower and the infinity pool was awesome. There are a variety of local eateries within walking distance along with a few shops to get groceries. Breakfast was served everyday including fresh breads, fruits, juice, coffee and eggs to order. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Their sister property, Charela Inn, which is on 7 Mike Beach, is open to visit and is worth the short taxi ride. I was able to use their garden pool, beach and enjoyed their nice restaurant and bar, which had live entertainment. The property is in a natural setting, very peaceful and secluded. Plenty of areas to get rid of your tan lines and even jump off the cliffs into crystal, clear water. The last time I visited Jamaica, I went to a large all-inclusive resort. I much prefer the solitude that Le Mirage offers. I’ll definitely make it my Go To retreat when I return.…
Ronie and I loved our stay here! Favorite place “on da cliffs mon”! Great staff, location , breakfast! Clean and spacious rooms. Quiet place with a beautiful view! Great place to dive off the cliffs, snorkel and fish ! Love that it’s a small boutique hotel . Take your suit off or leave it on .. it’s all good mon. ( not an “ icky “ clothing optional resort like “ other places” Clean , comfortable gem ! Reese makes ever Likkle ting alright😁
I absolutely love this hotel Reese was the reception lady and she made sure i was ok. This was my first trip solo. I loved it. Clothing optional so i swam nude. 1st time. Loved eveey minute. The view is spectacular.
This hotel offers way more than just lodging, it's an experience. I have stayed at so many hotels in Negril, on the beach off the beach but nothing compares to Mirage. I stayed here for a week, and originally when deciding to stay towards the West End I was looking for privacy and something near the water. Mirage offers that and so much more. I'll start with the location, situated right in the middle of Rockhouse and Tensing Pen. I would say about 10-15 minutes driving distance from downtown Negril (depending on how fast your driving). There are both supermarkets and places to get food both to the left and right of the hotel which is great because it's less than a 3 minute walk. Of course you can also go to some of the nicer restaurants which again are within walking distance. A+ The hotel itself was amazing, exceeding my expectations. I had the pleasure of staying in room 107 which is on the second level. Upon entering you welcomed by this amazing view of the ocean, a very spacious room, nice bathroom, and very spacious closet space. Inside the closet you have hangers, iron and ironing board, and a functional in room safe. In the room was wifi,a refrigerator, air conditioner, ceiling fan, coffee pot maker, smart tv, nice sized desk, two chairs, a king size bed, a huge PRIVATE balcony that has two wicker chairs and a table (and an awning for lots of shade) and plenty of good lighting. Great water pressure in the shower and sink, never had an issue with hot water. Overall the room was very clean, up to date, and very well managed. A+ The grounds of the hotel was great as well, the infinity pool was nice although I didn't get in, the views on the cliffs were at times breath taking, the property is well kept and clean. Each morning from 8am-10am complimentary breakfast is served which includes fresh fruits, juice/coffee/tea/milk, an array of breads, and eggs upon request. Served in a kitchen area that's really nice. The checkin/checkout process was extremely smooth and quick. Housekeeping daily unless you request not to have any. The staff was very friendly and call you by name. A+ I would most certainly recommend this hotel to anyone. Upon arriving to Jamaica and during my stay I used Willis Tours and Transportation for my transportation needs. My driver was very knowledgeable, professional, reasonable and was available when ever I needed transportation. The number is 876-833-6285. …
This property is located in the West End of Negril, along the cliffs, very close to many shops, bars and restaurants. I arrived from the Airport and was greeted at the front Desk by Reece (I hope I am spelling her name correctly!) and I was checked in within minutes. I had asked for an upper level room with a sea view and was assigned #618 on the second floor. The room and the view were fantastic. The room is spacious and was spotlessly clean on my arrival. The room is equipped with AC, a ceiling fan, refrigerator, coffee maker, safe, sitting chairs,TV, a large hanging closet, another closet with shelving and a dresser/desk. The private balcony gives the famous Negril view of the sea as well as of the pool area and the rest of the grounds. On the balcony were a bistro type table with two cushioned chairs. The awning in front of the balcony guarantees cool shade all day long. The bathroom was large, with a walk in shower and supplied with many towels and toiletries. Water pressure was strong and there was always plenty of hot water. The property is kept spotless and the pool water crystal clear. There is a large patio area with many places to lie out in either the sun or the shade. There is also a large open air pavillion with couches, tables and chairs. This area is where the daily breakfasts are served. While the location and the property were great, what makes Mirage even better are the staff. My every need and request, whether for an extra towel to take on a tour, to local phone calls to extra coffee for my room, was answered instantly and with a genuine smile. Everyone here really wants their guests to have a great stay. The groundskeeper, Bobby was hard at work all day tidying the grounds or working in the gardens. Savanna took care of housekeeping, when she wasn't assisting Reece in some other task. There was also an night security guard, who's name I never got, who kept a diligent watch over the gated property while we slept. Breakfast each day included an array of fruits (pineapple, mango, papaya, banana etc), pastries, toast, coffee, tea, OJ and fresh made to order eggs. Simply fantastic to start the day with. Tripadvisor suggests to mention what I liked the least about my stay, honestly I cannot think of anything I would want to change. All in all, while at Mirage, I felt entirely spoiled! Everyone did all they could to make me feel that way everyday. Big big thanks to all of you wonderful people at Mirage! I cannot wait to return.…
This is a beautiful, private property that has been my favorite place to stay in Negril so far. The staff are wonderful, rooms are clean and comfortable and the view from your bed...well, you can't beat it!! I would definitely recommend this for couples looking for a beautiful, private place to stay. My only recommendation would be to avoid the rooms on the side of the building where the pool filters are...they run non-stop and are a bit noisy.
