The location: Magnificent The Staff : More than friendly , makes you feel at home even though your far away The Food : Goes hand in Hand with the staff, as they prepare everything fresh AND according to your wishes
I had booked a weekend at a nother resort and was left stranded after the place turned out to be uninhabitable. I happend upon Kaiser and they had four rooms clean and read for us to view and book. It really was a great experience. Continental breakfast had no egg and only hot or cold beverage but it was tasty. Staff is very polite and the place was very clean.
My wife and I, just returned from one full month at Kaisers. We have stayed at many places up and down the cliffs including a few high priced Westend villas.when you take Kaisers room price, view, and peacefulness, into consideration for us,we will return year after year,we already booked for next year.Anyone that is familiar with the west end knows, the problems that come with that territory, water pressure problems and power failures are the norm.If you can look past that, Kaiser offers a quite setting, great customer service, security, and privacy. Its their first year open, and they are trying very hard to make Kaisers successful.Trudy Anne the manager does a great job, taking care of her guests, she does her very best every day.Otis , the General manager never stops working, always trying to make the place great,as well as everyone else, just nice people.Security, is top notch, the security guy, is the most vigilant guard I’ve seen in Negril bar none.Dancer the groundskeeper, works sunup to sundown keeping the place spotless, housekeeping, sorry I forgot her name, is a very hard worker that kept our unit spotless. We had the kitchenette unit and it was more than adequate. No staff member ever asked for one thing, and no one ever tried to “sell” us anything nor was it ever even mentioned, this is a first in all my travels to Negril. We can’t wait to get back next year, as I know they still will be making improvements as they grow. And the ocean,,we already miss floating in the sea everyday that is the single reason we chose Kaisers, and it was a home run!The following pictures was the view from my room, thank you for a good time Kaisers 😋…
I stayed at Kaisers at the end of February 2020. I went with an open mind, having basic expectations based on previous reviews. I was shocked at the level of great customer service I received. Before i arrived, management reached out asking of there were any special requests etc for my trip. Once I arrived, check in was very fast and I was provided with information pertaining to activities on and off property. My room was a fair size, and had working air conditioning. The included breakfast was a continental breakfast, but I added eggs for $2 which i thought was fair. The only issue I had was the cable was not working throughout my 3 night stay. There was an auto accident that knocked down a pole that affected the cable. I feel the cost of the room is extremely fair with what is provided. I would return again😀…
Came here for dinner on Feb 11th to check the place out as friends are staying next month. The bar and restaurant were completely empty, we almost thought they were closed. My wife and I ordered dinner, and the server / bartender seemed nervous about it. After what was easily over an hour, out food came. I’m pretty sure my wife’s meal was cooked there but my jerk chicken was cold. It for sure came from another vendor down the street as I don’t think they had a cook on site. Drinks were good, the hotel and grounds are beautiful. Good location on the cliffs. Not sure if I would recommend for a meal though. We were staying at samsara, and could hear the music until 2am some nights.. not sure why if it wasn’t even busy?
Don't let the lack of reviews scare you aware. Kaisers recently reopened and renovated. It is so beautiful, the food is great and the service as well. Access the water to swim or even go hang out in their cave and watch the water. I highly recommend it to anyone. Even if you just come out to support their bar and restaurant you can stay and swim and use their facilities. There is live music on sundays and a dj night with specials on fridays. Top notch.
Rooms are nice, location is good, staff is great, but they blast music really loud all day long. Sometimes nobody or two people were at the bar and the music was incredibly loud. I couldn’t hear the TV in my room. Trudy Ann said she will address the issue, but I got tired of asking them to turn it down.
I have been going to Jamaica for over 30 years, staying in very nice hotels. Kaisers was a grand nightclub all those years ago so when I saw it was reopening after several decades of being a broken down palace I gave the place a shot reserving a christmas stay a year in advance paid in full. Got there this just past December 23 2019. They , brand new hires couldnt find my reservation at first , showed us a tiny room on the main road with no view, I had picked out ocean front room. After much ado got a room on the ocean. Well there was no chef that night he left at 5 pm so we had to go and get dinner elsewhere. No bar, no ice etc. Fast forward to that first night and only ( I prepaid 5 nights stay) it started pouring around 5 am. The rain was coming in through the new roof on the bed drenching the mattress and hence me, waking me up sopped. The marble floor had flooded in through the balcony door making the floor a mini lake flooding all our belongings. My husband almost killed himself going down the steep wet marble steps to escape the rain up stairs in our room!!!Books clothes towels all soaked. No cook no breakfast no coffee we left and I rebooked on my phone that morning another lovely cliff hotel on hotels.com luckily finding a room! we left furious. Contacted hotel for explanation at least and refund. No luck. Said they would, now silence. The worst stay ever and I stay all over the world.…
booked room one year in advance. at check-in the room we booked was unavailable. then they wanted to put us in a room next to road. then they tried to give us room with twin bed with only 2 feet on each side to move no refrigarator 1 station on t.v. tape marks on screen. after 1 hour of this they gave us the room we booked. could not use shower for the first night because grout was just done. chef went home at 5pm. had to eat at nearby food stand. It pour that night the rain came thur roof onto bed. got out of bed 1/2 inch of water all over floor suitcases soaked. went to go downstairs to use bathroom almost slipped and fell down concrete steps.
