The magic of Jamaica has definitely not escaped this place. We left southern California for a wonderful birthday celebration and were once again, very happy to call the Spa Retreat home for nearly a week. Everyone did an amazing job, especially housekeeping staff, Cliff the house driver and Nevarda (Las Vegas) who was always ready with our hot coffee in the morning. Also have to mention "Prime Time" the Deion Sanders look alike grounds keeper who always had a pleasant smile and greeting. Sometimes it's the simple things that matter most. Jamaica in general has done a remarkable job pivoting and adapting to the pandemic. The Spa Retreat was no exception. We were super comfortable and almost felt for a week like COVID never happened. We did use the spa for a wonderful massage but would have probably preferred a bit more privacy. Love the open air ambiance and proximity to the ocean, just that the tables were set-up directly in view of the pathway and other rooms. We're not super modest but some simple sheer curtains would do the trick. Just so you're not changing and being rubbed in plain view of other guests. The ocean water pool is one of the best on the island. A bit small perhaps but occupancy was pretty light during our stay so it never felt crowded at all. Over-all another amazing visit and we hope to return again soon!

I am almost hesitant to spread the word on how great The Spa Retreat is for fear of it being overrun or too difficult to book in the future, but the owners and staff deserve to be recognized for what they have created at this amazing place. Small, private, beautifully designed, lushly landscaped, this property is the best place to get away from it all and luxuriate in tropical beauty. The cottages are very private and comfortable and the snorkeling right off the seawall is breathtaking. Super nice dining and drinking amenities mean you never need to leave if you don't want to venture outside The Spa's walls. My second visit and I will definitely be returning.

Went on a weekend girl's trip to Negril, and the Spa Retreat Boutique hotel could not have been a more wonderful experience. The salt-water pool overlooking the ocean, with the best Negril sunset each evening, catamarans passing by every hour, birds flying overhead, made for an unforgettable experience. I have traveled around Jamaica quite a lot, and stayed in many hotels across the island. But this experience was one of my best ones yet. The room was beautiful and comfortable; the only thing that got me out of the bed, was knowing the beauty that awaited me outside (and the food served at the Blue Mahoe restaurant). The property is the perfect mix of luxurious and rustic; with a warm island charm. But outside of the indescribable beauty and crystal clear Caribbean waters, the food and friendly staff made our trip unforgettable. At the on-site restaurant, The Blue Mahoe, every meal was a carefully curated delicacy; flavored with spices that made me (a self proclaimed "foodie") dream of every meal. To this day I long for some of Blue Mahoe's Jerk Chicken Alfredo Pasta, or its curried goat. The staff was courteous, friendly, and always willing to go above and beyond to make us comfortable. The one thing that I regret about my trip was that it wasn't longer. 10/10 experience!! I absolutely fell in love with this place. Can't wait to go back.

Booked A stay here for my daughter wedding the week of May 1st. Because of a covid spike in the country of Jamaica there now were curfews and many new restrictions that caused my Daughter to cancel the wedding. The hotel was contacted immediately and we were told they would not refund our money $1,655.00 for nothing. We originally sent a deposit of $855.50 then made a payment of $855.50 When we booked the trip through just fly and bought the insurance but they are saying because it was canceled within 60 days of our stay they will not refund.

I booked my birthday massage here, and ended up spending my entire birthday at this Hotel, Spa. I received such excellent service from every member of the staff, (including the gardener, that brought me a glass of water) I was so impressed with the service, and professional staff I booked another massage and full day of relaxing. I recommend this Hotel to everyone, even if you just want a day out of the ordinary, the staff, and manager, Shane will take care of you. I was treated with kindness and respect. The staff followed social distancing, and Covid regulations.
