a really special property that offers a variety of experiences depending on which cottage you stay, but all equally laid-back, serene and surrounded by nature. it’s the perfect couples getaway and the staff are friendly, accommodating and the icing on the cake. natanya and shaway (sp?) in the office made sure everything went smoothly for us and razor at the bar and michelle who took good care of us at breakfast made our dining and social experiences special as well. would go back in a heartbeat!

Hotel is gorgeous- on the cliffs. Rooms are cozy with stunning vistas. Staff are very personable. Well stocked bar. Yoga facilities. Restaurant was excellent. Food delicious and very reasonably priced. Staff was so personable- especially our breakfast server, Carlene. -so professional! Every day she greeted us and remembered our order from one day to the next! We Love it here!!

A beautiful, tranquil place to relax and rest on the cliffs of Negril. The property is meticulously kept, with great views at every turn. The staff are welcoming and helpful. I highly recommend the snorkeling directly in front of the property. One of the lifeguards, Paul, gave us an amazing tour of the reef and we saw moray eel, lion fish, grouper and many other colorful creatures in the beautiful Caribbean water. There are three resident Rhodesian ridgeback dogs, which are very friendly and calm. The restaurants across the street from the hotel serve authentic, delicious Jamaican dishes. You’ll love it here!

Staff, very friendly and professional always attentive and caring. I have stayed in three different rooms all unique and beautiful. Restaurant is excellent, I have already booked for March 2024 and will probably book for 2025 at our next visit.

I don’t know where to start. The reception you receive is superlative. The rooms are so unique that you notice aspects of it days after you have been here. The property is gorgeous. The food is so good the locals come here to celebrate birthdays and major events in their lives. Breakfast is excellent but the best part of breakfast is Calene. The first thing she did was give us all nicknames. I was ‘trouble’. Linda was ‘bright eyes’. Rose was beautiful’ and Michael was ‘Jack’. Don’t try to figure it out. She remembered everything we ordered and made excellent suggestions. Paul, the lifeguard, took us on a scuba tour that was very enjoyable. Without him we would not have seen the Rockfish, the trumpet fish or the flounders that blended into the sand so well they were invisible to us until he made them move. I hope you get the point. The place is fabulous and the people make it extraordinary.…

We stayed at the Rock Cottage 1 and loved it! The food was good, restaurant had good service. All the staff were fantastic! The location was good for walking to other restaurants down the road, tho you have to be really careful with the traffic. Only place we’ve ever gone back to and everyone you talk to there has been going for years.

A friend recommend Tensing Pen to me and I will definitely return in the future. The location was beautiful - you have your pick of stunning locations to sit in a lounge chair, in either the sun or shade, and read a book or take in the view. The food was delicious - really flavourful with good vegetarian and seafood options. The rooms are quaint and the bed was comfortable. I had a great view from my patio and sat out there in the evenings. The staff were all friendly and knowledgeable. Jumping off the wooden bridge into the water is a must! The whole experience was so much better than one of the large all inclusive resorts.

I love Tensing Pen. I go at least twice a year. The peace and quiet. The gorgeous views. The water. The food. And of course the staff. Everyone is so welcoming. And of course the gentle giants Tensing, Obie and Zuri. I hate leaving but at least I know I will be back. And thank you AM!!!!!!
