I came to the Rockhouse with my boyfriend for the end of the year and New Year's, and we had a spectacular time. We spent the days eating fantastic Jamaican food at both of the restaurants (Pushcart and Rockhouse restaurants) and swimming in the ridiculously beautiful water. I've never felt so relaxed in my entire life, and after 2020, we really needed that. The massages we got at the spa were fantastic and relatively pretty affordable. My favorite night was one where we got a private table out on the rocks overlooking the ocean.
We spent four nights here and are counting the days until we can go back. Such a uniquely beautiful spot. If you are looking for a boutique hotel experience and seclusion, then this is your place! Room was great, food was great, staff were great, spa was great. We loved it, would recommend it and will definitely go back.
We just returned from a family trip to Rockhouse. It was spectacular in every way! The setting is breathtaking and the hotel itself is the perfect blend of private, understated luxury. We enjoyed morning yoga, fabulous massages in the massage huts adjacent to the sea and daily swimming in the warm, crystal clear Jamaican water—heaven. Individual villas were spacious, private and incredibly comfortable. The food and service at both Pushcart and the Rockhouse restaurant were fabulous with a casual, fun vibe allowing for ultimate relaxation. The Rock house is the perfect spot to unwind and recharge surrounded by the lapping waves and the warm Jamaican sun. Can’t wait to return!
We keep coming back to Rockhouse as it offers so many types of experiences in a magical tropical setting. You can find a secluded nook and feel like you’re the only people at the hotel (but still have full internet access LOL). Or head to the pool bar or Pushcart for a more bubbly social scene. The staff are always friendly and know how to gauge the vibe you’re going for. While the rooms are cozy and styled to fit the Caribbean location, nothing beats pulling up a sun lounge at the many shorefront decks and watching the 180o sea panorama change color over the course of the day. Every night you’ll be have a beautiful sunset to end the day. Not to be missed.
Great if you want to act like you are on spring break and 20 yrs old. Food is not worth what you pay. Protocol for COVID was quite good and it is clear they care about safety. There are better places to stay for better prices. Choose wisely and do your homework. Again, unless you are 20 and want to be on spring break, then this is your place!
