This place has no control over noise from its own guests. After two nights of complaints over late night music and noise Country Country did nothing about it. Guards did nothing to stop the noise from these guests

2017: We had a great weekend at this place! When you remember the names of staff and take the time to mention them, you should get an idea of what type of place this is! Sherene and Latoya were great at the front desk. Lee is ever helpful with bags and anything else you need. Anything! The F&B Manager Audley is always attentive and Dwayne is world-class at the bar! As a (Jamaican) locally-based traveller I grade local places hard. Country Country passes with flying colours! 2020: Still loving it! Still cosy, warm and friendly with great service!

Country Country cottages give you the real authentic feeling of being in a rural Jamaican district. The buildings and decor remind you of 'old time Jamaica'. My room was clean, bed was comfortable. (Suggestions: Tea supplies must be stored on the shelf beside the fridge and not in the bathroom. Scrub the shower tiles). Traditional Jamaican cuisine is served, the ackee and saltfish breakfast are a must-have. The beautiful beach with its warm calm, shallow water complete the beautiful scenery.

We were a little nervous traveling during COVID but honestly we felt more at ease in Negril than at home. Jamaica is taking Covid very serious and everyone at Country Country is following the protocols to keep us all safe. When we were there in October. There was no housekeeping but you put your dirty towels in the laundry basket on your front porch and they will replenish. Honestly no big deal for us. Breakfast is always delish. If you haven’t tried the Jamaican Breakfast definitely order it. We love the Ackee and salt fish!! Occupancy was definitely low and we were there during one of the hurricane residuals so we had lots of rain but no worries the beach was still very nice and hello you can swim in the rain ✌️ We love Terri Ann and Christina at breakfast and at the Bar. Terri Ann makes a delicious Dirty Banana 🍌 yum!! No trip would be complete without mentioning the wonderful Monique in the office. She always takes such great care of us. We love the beauty of Jamaica and the amazing people. Soon come back Jamaica 🇯🇲.

It's a lovely fauna filled hotel, staff is super friendly and location is great, and very Covid conscious!! We booked Country Country for a quiet, relaxing getaway for an essential worker. The hotel was empty except for us and two other people. Unfortunately they put us both in the same cottage and they were there to party (probably to make it easier for the cleaning staff?) Then the next morning at 7:30AM someone was cutting the lawn below our room with a loud weed wacker, which took all morning. So not so quiet or relaxing. Since we paid for a premium room, we asked to change rooms (closer to the beach and away from the noisy road) and was told they were all under construction, which we did not witness. Next day the week wacker was out again at 7:30am. Breakfast was very good, pool was refreshing and beach well maintained so make sure you inquire about the noise before you unpack your suitcase if you are there for P&Q.
