My husband and I went to Hermosa Cove to celebrate our anniversary (twice delayed due to covid). We wanted a quiet, restful, romantic getaway and Hermosa Cove delivered! The resort is gorgeous with meandering paths, lush flora, plenty of tropical birds and sits right on the ocean. It feels more like a private estate than a resort. There are only 9 villas on 11 acres so it was not uncommon to have the beach or one of the cascading pools all to ourselves. Our one bedroom villa was loaded with art throughout and well appointed. It felt like our own two story home, complete w/plunge pool and plenty of patio seating. The bathroom was spacious with two sinks, large shower and a separate ‘water closet’. The warm, attentive-without-being-intrusive staff was exceptional without exception. They anticipated needs and were extremely responsive. The restaurant was wonderful!!! Fresh, delicious food, friendly service a beautiful setting. I was worried having only one restaurant would become monotonous but I was wrong! Try the conch soup and the seafood soup— both were fantastic!! We hired a boat to take us along the coast on a private tour. The hotel water sports team has snorkeling and kayaking gear and will even take guests out and do all the hard work. The landscape staff was happy to educate on the amazing plants and trees (which are immaculately tended to). Be sure to try some fresh almonds from the huge tree on the property! Our visit was wonderful start to finish (including the ride to/from the airport thanks to RaShaun!). We are likely to join the many return guests and visit Hermosa Cove again!

My wife and I looked online for a long time before we found Hermosa Cove. I don’t know that I’m a good enough writer to properly describe this place but a detailed review is the least I could do after the amazing experience Hermosa Cove and its staff provided. We booked the Nautilus House because we wanted to be as close to the water as possible and WOW were we ON the water! The Nautilus house is a one of a kind work of art and it truly is something special. The thought that was put into the Nautilus house and the entire property is amazing. Our only regret was not being able to meet the owners, Mr. and Mrs. Korver, to tell them how much we enjoyed what they and their great staff have created! It's simply hard to describe without seeing it for yourself! The staff was humble and appreciative of us choosing Jamaica and Hermosa Cove. They took great care of us and it’s obvious that they love and respect their work and the owners of the resort. Our booking with Kamika was easy and she was polite and helpful down to the very last question I asked before booking. Our taxi driver, Rashon, has been used by Hermosa for a long time and it was obvious that he took great pride in his country and its history and he had nothing but good things to say about the owners and the staff at Hermosa. Upon our arrival Klent welcomed us to Hermosa and he assisted with several special request during our stay. After check in Elvis showed us around the resort and also helped us with our departure. Nicole and Renica were sweet and curtious. Everyone in Christopher’s restaurant was a pleasure to be around. Banny, Conroy, Rachal, Mama Kidd, Anieka and Venecia all took time to visit with us when we were at the restaurant. All of the food was delicious and ordering room service or drinks was easy. Ryan took us out for snorkeling and kayaking. We had a great time exploring the reef and cliff/cave area with him…all a short paddle from the resort. We also did some snorkeling on our own. The reef is less than 100ft from the shore and in shallow water with tons of colorful fish and coral! One afternoon we visited with Hopeton and immediately formed a friendship with him. He is a unique young man and knows all about the plants and animals around the resort. He showed us around the property and we thoroughly enjoyed the time he spent with us. We also had the pleasure of meeting, Mario, another young man who told us he learned, from the owner, how to do decorative concrete work, including the realistic looking concrete tree trunks that make up many of the posts and railings around the resort. It’s obvious that the owner, Mr. Korver, works closely with his staff and that he and Mrs. Korver provide a great work environment and rewarding job opportunities that help support the local people and economy. I’m not sure we could ever find another place as special as Hermosa Cove. We’ll definitely be back, hopefully soon with a group of friends or family. The place if laid back and awesome!

My fiance and I just returned from our third stay at Hermosa Cove in the last 4 years. We were fortunate enough to be able to stay at Nautilus House this time and I cannot overstate how amazing our visit was. The decor is eclectic but tasteful and the bedroom offered a panoramic view of the water from an extremely comfortable and romantic king size bed. The landscaping, buildings, gardens, beach and pool make you feel as though you are in a whimsical but luxurious fairy land. All of the staff pay incredible attention to detail and take great pride in being an integral part of the Hermosa Cove experience. Klent, Danielle, Elvis, Nikki, Renita, Chef, Aneika and Randy plus all of the other staff are now like family. The staff's friendliness, consideration and attention to detail are second to none. At Nautilus House we had our own private plunge pool, several outdoor seating areas and a breathtaking access point for the Caribbean. Gazing out at the sea from an open stained glass windows in the walk-in shower was mesmerizing. We were able to have privacy, but could also go to the bar or the restaurant to socialize with the staff and other guests. The food at the restaurant is delicious and my native Jamaican fiance loved the Jamaican breakfast, and whole steamed snapper at dinner. The menu is varied and there is something for everyone. We were also lucky enough to be there when they had a barbeque for all of the guests that was so delicious!! We booked our stay in the Treehouse Villa for next summer as we were checking out and I am already counting down the days until we can spend time in this simply magical place again.
