Chillin is set in lush tropical gardens and boasts a pool. The property is just 3 minutes away from a gorgeous private white sand beach, and just 5 minutes away from Ocho Rios and all the area attractions. The property offers 1 to 4 bedroom (each bedroom has its own bathroom) fully equipped townhouses or apartments, each with its own housekeeper/cook who will cater to your needs for the duration of your stay. Each bedroom is air conditioned, and each townhouse / apartment has an internet connection, and cable television. It really gives you the opportunity to experience an authentic Jamaican holiday.
This is definitely a great place to chill. If you need a lot of activities or bells and whistles this probably isn’t the place for you although it’s near a lot of attractions that you could visit.
I don’t think the pictures do it enough justice I found the grounds pretty and the villas (sort of a townhouse feel) to be really spacious and well decorated.
The beach a few minutes walk from the property is private and gorgeous.
Our housekeepers were friendly and good cooks.
The only con is that you have to bring everything with you to cook and eat and buy everything I mean even the salt and pepper! If forget anything it means a grocery store run.
We visited during the pandemic so it was extra quiet and peaceful, spent many hours at the pool or just chillin on the back patio.

I enjoyed everything the hospitality was next to none it was over and above what I've expected. The peacefulness was great. I was comfortable to leave my door open because all my family was around me. And the staff were like family to me because they were so polite and kind. They worked so hard to help us. They gave us so much suggestions of things to do. I will be back.

This is by far a hidden gem away from all the crowds. The facility was great, the staff was outstanding, a short walk to the beach and the room were great. Like all villas in this category, you must remember to purchase your food so the staff can cook your meals. The staff is with you from 8-5pm and they can stay longer if required for an additional fee.
One more thing, unless you have friends here, make sure to get a car, because you're away from the big cities and walking to the store is not available.

Pros: Clean nice place. Clean pool. Kind workers. Cons: breakfast would be a bit late and though the beach was close you still had to walk about 5-8 mins to it. Also the property didn’t seem like a villa more like a homey place. Enjoyed the visit but not on my go to list.

Spent a short while in a 2 bedroom unit with some friends. The pictures on the web do not do justice to the units at all. They are wonderfully furnished and very comfortable. Sheree (our housekeeper) prepared tasty Jamaican dishes and took wonderful care of our every need. The grounds are immaculate and the courtyard area very inviting for meeting up with friends. I did not use the pool but instead, walked to the beach - which was just a very short walk down the road. The beach has lounge chairs for your use, so no need to bring any along!

Not my first visit to Chillin' and certainly won't be the last! Went down with a group of friends for a joint birthday re-union. We were well taken care of in every way. Beautiful, restful surroundings... perfect to sit back and catch up with friends. Accommodations were first-class... clean, attractive, modern and well-kept. Pretty grounds to lounge around in. The staff out-did themselves and were always pleasant, friendly and just a joy to have around us! Food... excellent!
Beach is just a short walk down a quiet neighbourhood. Nice, sandy and warm waters! Ideal really!

If you read only one thing: This place is GREAT! We spent 3 days here in April, for a big family reunion, and had two, 4-bedroom units. All 15 of us had a wonderful time here: the place is kept up meticulously clean and is well appointed: the bedrooms/baths; exterior; and the outside grounds. We had some fun times with all of us together, but also were able to retreat for some quiet time to one of the many areas -- pool, lawn, private patio, private balcony, etc. The staff was superb! Lead by Annette and Michelle, the house keepers/cooks were always available, friendly and helpful. They prepared meals for us that were varied, tasty, local, and literally home-cooked! You just can't get that in one of the mega-hotels. And the management staff, especially Stefan Shelton, was always attentive, responsive and thoroughly professional. Chillin' is not on the beach, but it is a pleasant, 5 minute walk on a country lane -- hey! think about this: if you stay at a big, beach-front hotel, that's how long it takes you to go from your room to the ocean! This is a gated complex with a 'gate-keeper', and we always felt safe. Some have suggested you need a car, but we never did -- taxis are readily available and inexpensive. We had looked at many options of where to stay in Ochi -- we couldn't have chosen a better place. GO!

Returned for a 1 night stay with family members (7 people total) and stayed in one of the 4-bedroom units this time. Lots of space, very clean, modern and very comfortable. The staff of 2 ladies took very good care of us - preparing a wonderful dinner and breakfast, just as we asked! They were even able to get through some of our laundry! I had forgotten juice on our shopping list, but the ladies went ahead and made limeade, otherwise, we would have had to go out to get something to drink with dinner! We did have time to enjoy the pool and take a short walk to the nearby beach.....nice touch for an evening of relaxation.

Spent 10 lovely, relaxing days with my husband, 19-year son and his friend in late August. The setting was so relaxing, and the hospitality and warmth of the Chillin staff unforgettable. We loved the central lawn/courtyard set-up and enjoyed many delightful cocktails and great social moments with other guests in the pool after lazy afternoons at the private beach. The villa is tastefuly appointed, spacious and meticulously maintained. Our cook was fabulous and took care of grocery shopping and "going to market" after developing a creative menu which offered every taste of Jamaican cuisine! Convenient central location - close to Dolphin Cove, Mystic Mountain, Enchanted Gardens, good golf courses and the famous Scotchie's Jerk centre. Margaritaville (just 5 mins away) was a great nighttime attraction for the boys. Easy day trips to Port Antonio and Montego Bay. We have already chosen Chillin as the venue for a 25-person family re-union in 2011 - we'll take 3 of the 6 villas, and can hardly wait to bring back the expanded family.

We were lucky enough to say in a 2 bedroom apartment no 11 Chillin’ Old Fort Bay, Ohio Rios for 2 weeks over Christmas. The whole stay was perfect, totally relaxing and like stepping off the planet to our own little sanctuary. The location is great, just at the end of the motorway 1 hour 15 minutes from Kingston....a godsend after getting off a direct flight from London. We were within 5-15 minutes of the many activities that Ocho Rios has to offer including a choice of supermarkets & restaurants for food shopping. The beautiful private beach which you have access to as a guest at Chillin’ is literally 2 minutes easy walk away and we had to ourselves most of the time. Each of the villas comes with a daily housekeeper to do the cooking, cleaning and as a general font of all knowledge. Dorritt who looked our villa no 11 was a fantastic cook and not phased by all of our dietary requirements (vegetarian, not too spicy etc). She really went the extra mile to make our stay special cooking special birthday breakfasts etc, but not in an obtrusive way. All of the staff we met were friendly, professional and kept the facilities in great condition. Even down to sweeping the grass daily to make sure all the facilities were clean and well presented. Our villa was well equipped with basics in the kitchen on arrival, comfy beds, beach towels, games, WiFi etc. It was tastefully decorated, had air conditioning and in excellent condition. The apartment provided flexibility and freedom compared to a hotel. The ability to just wander in from the beach/pool and not have to get changed for dinner, sit on the balcony with drink in hand, listening to the sound of the sea was a perfect relaxing way of recharging your battery.
