Jerk After Dark was so deluxe. Beach side service was incredible. Chef Alfred has the creme brule game down and was charming AF. Our scotch bonnet butter poached lobsters were sumptious. Highly reccomend and so well worth the upcharge. Ya mon !

Hi Future Travellers If you are looking for an All Inclusive Holiday with sunshine, genuine staff, beautiful surroundings, top class food & entertainment etc, look no further than the Holiday Inn Resort Montego Bay Jamaica. We have just come back after spending 2 weeks there and did not even have to leave the premises. Our special thanks go to? Miss Winsome Hooper - Deputy General Manager - the best person who you will ever meet. Her staff are in awe of her and she is Amazing in everyway!! Very Caring. Miss Marcia Black - Employee Relations Manager - She knows who to employ. Tashona & Marie - Spa - the best spa ladies that you will ever meet. And total fun to be with. Would be there whenever needed. Tony - the amazing gardner who takes care of the surroundings - he was our little gem! Carl Nelson - Head Engineer - keeps everything ticking like clockwork Not forgetting all the restaurant & bar staff and entertainment staff who do an amazing job without any trouble. Please ignore all the bad comments as they are not warranted. Go and enjoy a piece of heaven as we did? We are looking forward to our next visit there! Regards Larry & Lisa

We had a tiki-lit dinner at the “Jerk After Dark” restaurant, and Raquel our server, and Romaine, our chef were FANTASTIC!! They took the time to chat, make us feel comfortable, and made the experience absolutely perfect. Make sure you book early to get beach front!

I visit this resort on my birthday with my wife and my daughter for the second time the first time was my daughter birthday in January . First I much say the girl at the front desk that check us in on the 22 March 2023 should get a promotion , she have one of the best hospitality experience I have ever seen. Working in the hospitality industry I know when someone go above and beyond to make the customer feel welcome and this is what I have experience thanks to you my birthday at the holiday was great.

Fabulous staff. Always felt cared for and catered to all week! Would love to recognize a staff member- Karen Tomlinson. She was our waitress at Seabreeze, the seafood restaurant. She provided EXCELLENT service!! And we shared the same birthday while we were there. It was my 50th and her 33rd. She made me feel extra special.

We knew from the beginning to be skeptical of this resort. From the first impression this resort is nicely kept on the grounds but the buildings were in bad shape. The food was mediocre in the buffet but we enjoyed the Italian and Jamaican restaurants. Lack of premium drinks and no fridges in the room with water was a disappointment, isn’t Appletons a staple on any resort in Jamaica? Can’t get bottled water anywhere on the resort. The jerk hut was the highlight of the trip delicious every time we ate there. The boardwalk is rotting away and I’m surprised no one felt through it and was injured. Do not take building 1 if you like quiet when it’s time for bed. The entertainment was right outside the building bring ear plugs. There is a window in the room that is open to the outside and you can’t do anything about it. This is a budget resort and it shows. 4 star designation is a stretch 3 at most we will not be returning to this resort although it’s close proximity to the Airport was nice.

This was our first trip to Jamaica, and it won’t be our last. We had an amazing week! The resort is very nice. The staff is courteous and friendly. The food was excellent all week long. Ate something different at every meals. Lloyd, the waiter at the buffet is simply great. My granddaughter really liked him. The girls at the snack-bar were amazing as well. Ann Marie also made sure that our room was perfect everyday. We will come back here for sure.

I was travelling with my two teen children and their friends and another family with young adults, total group of 9. March 1st to March 8th, 2023. This was my 4th time in Jamaica (2nd time in Mo Bay) and it will be my last as this trip really turned me off. I'll make my comments in order in which they unfolded. Check in was fine. Was disappointed that rooms did not have fridges. All other 15 to 20 all-inclusive's I've been to had fridges stocked with drinks and some mini bottles of alcohol. When I called to enquire, they told me I'd go on a waiting list for one. When I asked how far down the list I was, they changed the subject indicating there was no list and a fridge never came,.Same answer the few times I called to enquire. Also, there is no room service. Went to unpack and the dresser handle came off in my hand. Very small dated bathroom. Stayed in Room 1330 and had a great view. The ocean, in the small area between the beach and the island is the only area you can walk out into the water, the rest of the water has tall, slimy grass which is gross to step on, you sink into it, yuk! The clean area is great for small kids, but not much fun for those who like to go into water up to their necks and play in the waves. No waves in the area. There is no service on the beach and only 1, I repeat 1 server for drinks at the poor bar. Always took 10-25 mins to get a drink. The staff was the rudest people I've even seen on vacation, Noone ever smiled or even spoke. You'd ask for a drink and they'd walk away to make it. I felt like I had to apologize every time I ordered something. My daughter has a severe egg allergy. Every meal time we would have to ask for a chef from the back to come out and tell us what didn't have egg. Even then, most of the time they couldn't tell us. For example, they would say that they buy their bread off site so they have no idea. That was the answer 90% of the time we would ask. Noone gave a sh*t. My daughter lost 5 pounds and she's already tiny. I paid 2K for just myself for this vacation thinking I was paying for an all-inclusive. NOOOO, it's not. If you want to go to the Japonese restaurant, you have to pay. If you want the good food at the seafood restaurant, you have to pay. This was a shock and a never seen before at any all-inclusive I've ever stayed at. The buffet sucked. All 9 of us agreed about that. We went off site a couple of times to eat to get decent food. There was always something missing. I was looking forward to my favorite drink, the dirty banana. They got bananas on the last day!! Grr. My son was very sick early one morning so I called the front desk to see if they could send up 4 small water bottles as he was very dehydrated. They said since were 3 in the room they can only send 3 (all-inclusive, my a**), and they never came. To wrap up, when it was time to go home, we verified in the lobby when the bus for the AirTransat customers would be leaving. 1:45 pm. We were all in the lobby for 1:30. We saw the bus pull in. The other family we were with boarded to bus and we were just waiting for my daughter to grab her bag, so it's 1:30 at this time, and we see the bus leave without us. The other family with us, who had boarded, was telling the bus driver to wait, and he didn't. So, I told the bell man at the front and he told me don't worry, buses come every 15 minutes, but no other bus ever came. We had to pay to get back to the airport. We were only able to leave the hotel at 2:45 when our flight was at 4:30, a very stressful end to a vacation.

Dear MANAGEMENT and STAFF , We spent a relaxing, comfortable, fun-filled 10 days over Xmas and New Year's at the Holiday Inn Mo' Bay, Jamaica. And we'd like to thank some of the people who helped make that possible! Especially: Sweet Melissa in housekeeping (building 7); Mr. Orville, Chef Dewar, and Issay (spelling?) in the VIP lounge; Dean (r u still reading The Little Prince?) at the Seabreeze restaurant; O'Neal, beach caretaker and personality extraordinaire; Stephen, lifeguard and old-schoolmusic lover; amazing bartenders at the adult pool Romay, and her colleague the ever smiling oops-I-forgot-his-name ; the Fabulous CHefs who created meal after delicious meal morning, noon and night everywhere in the resort! Oseah at morning breakfast; and Lloyd and Michael, dinner waiters who served us on our first night at the buffet restaurant. Along with many others, from check-in to checkout, whose smiles and hospitality were much appreciated and still fondly recalled. Thank you. Love and hugs from Anne Marie, Martin and Kirk xxxooo Dear TOURISTS, GUESTS and TRAVELERS, Please tip the staff. It's not expected but it sure is appreciated. And you'd appreciate it too if you were in their hard-working shoes. Thank you.

Great location close to the airport. The sand was soft and snorkeling was good…perfect for small kids as it’s very shallow the the “island” creates a waveless experience. The reservation restaurants were good and the buffet was typical all-inclusive. Not the friendliest of staff however no issues and if you try to make conversation first it is well received!
