It may be the only proper hostel in Kingston, but this place is a gem in its own right. Daily and nightly activities bring everyone together, cheap cooked meals for breakfast lunch and dinner, massive backyard with a bar to socialise, friendly welcoming staff who love to chat and laugh. The atmosphere hits the sweet spot; super friendly and social...

Deciding to begin our trip to Jamaica at this hostel was the best possible decision we could have made! Even though we did our research ahead of time, it paled in comparison to the information we got from the staff and other travelers. Other than the extremely friendly and helpful staff and great vibe among the guests, the hostel is...

This place is just amazing. I stayed for a total of one week and had some of the best time of my life. The staff are what makes this place what it is. My husband and I spent a few days at the the Reggae Hostel in KIngston and are so glad we did. The location is great - in a quiet residential neighborhood and within walking distance of downtown. The rooms and bathrooms are clean and they have a big outdoor area with a bar and murals. They provide a delicious Jamaican...

We spent only one night at the Reggae Hostel and the best thing has been the typical Jamaican breakfast with ackee and saltfish (not included. It was 400J$). The room was quite hot without A/C and there was not much water for the shower but the bed was comfortable (king size). It was the only room with private bathroom.

Reggae hostel starts with positive vibes from when you meet the staff. They are all so chilled & friendly and ready to help when they can. The grounds are designed to encourage people to interact so you will undoubtedly get talking to other people. We were a large group of volunteers and met lots of people during our stay. Even...

The people who work here are great. The atmosphere is wonderful. It is a very clean hostel that has a great vibe to it. It is also really close to halfway tree, which is the transportation hub in Kingston. The only downside was that the private room I needed the A/C turned on by the front desk. It also couldn't...
