We had a an amazing time here. Booked the whole site as a group of families and had the teenagers in a yurt of their own. Best thing was cooking over the fire and getting the pizza oven on the go. We were 24 people and we successfully cooked about 40 pizzas over 2 days. All to order with particular... More

We were staying in the railway carriage. From our arrival we were warmly greeted and made to feel at home. A lovely basket of fresh veggies and eggs were waiting in the carriage for us, and the little stove was already prepared ready to be lit. The carriage was wonderful and snug and we were cosy as anything. The views... More

We stayed in the 21ft Yurt with 4 children. It was like being in heaven (albeit muddy heaven) you really do have to be prepared for wet weather and going to the toilet at 2am with a sleepy 4 year old is a bit of an experience so I would recommend head torches! Thea and Laurie and their children were... More

Sometimes you read reviews on this site and think .. it can't possibly be that good ... Well in this case the reviews before me are right! What a gem of a place, it took 5 hours to get there but we arrived in glorious sunshine donned our wellies filled the wheel narrows with luggage and headed on down to... More

My second time visiting The Yurt Farm, but my fiancées first. It's fantastic to get back to basic, cooking outside, filling up the wood burning fire in the Yurt and sitting in a place with no light or noise (besides Sheep!) pollution. There's some little gems nearby too, we took a trip into Cardigan and Aberporth, which had a lovely... More

This was our second visit to the Yurt farm. With 2 kids we stayed in the train carriage this time. The train carriage gets a lot warmer the the yurts which was perfect for us! We went on the farm walk and the kids loved meeting all the animals and were sad to leave as they had met lots of... More

My husband and I have just returned from a magical time at The Yurt Farm, Tregaron, Wales. We feel rested and refreshed after 5 days without technology, listening to birdsong, lambs calling and crackling log fires. Feeding the hens, country walks and delicious produce from the organic farm running the yurts added to the whole experience. The hosts, Thea &... More

We have just completed a 4 day stay at the Yurt farm. Our kids loved the freedom of the open fields as soon as we arrived & simply loved their time there. At one with nature, finding freshly laid eggs, visiting the farm & making friends in the play area. The yurts were well appointed and the camp site is... More

Myself and a group of friends have just returned home from our first trip to The Yurt Farm and we shall be booking to go again! We were welcomed so warmly by Laurie and his family and the yurts themselves are just brilliant! So beautifully crafted and decorated. This was our first time to Yurt Farm and it was amazing. The Yurts are beautifully built and everything is provided for, both in the Yurts and in the kitchen cabin. You could literally turn up with just your personal belongings. the surrounding is really peaceful and the view is fantastic. Thea and Laurie have done a fantastic job and... More
