I concur with the other reviewers about the location being fantastic, warm welcome and great facilities. We used the cabin, a stream babbling away nearby, excellent vegetarian breakfast on the veranda. Can't fault it. I chose it after a search on the net for vegi b and bs to have a night away with my girlfriend to have some space...

We needed a one night stop over whilst attending a friend's wedding and decided to be adventurous and book the log cabin. We were made to feel very welcome and were shown down a grassy path to the cabin by the stream in the woods. The interior was very nicely decorated and fitted with nice pine furniture. We had everything...

Lovely place, people and location. Really enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone looking for a nice peaceful break away from it all. Our stay was 'topped off' by a soak in the hot tub under a clear Welsh sky, Milky Way in full view!

We needed somewhere to stay whilst visiting my pony at the Bitless Bridle Equestrian Centre and we had such a fab time here. The whole family made us feel very welcome and at home; we were even greeted by the ducks and chickens. We stayed in the log cabin and it was so relaxing! We had breakfast on the veranda...

Just needed somewhere to sleep after a day househunting. Eve and Melvyn were more than accommodating. We stayed in the log cabin which is bed and breakfast only. Very relaxing with the sound of the stream running past the cabin. Breakfast was a treat, with the sun streaming down we ate on the verandah area. Eve and Melvyn couldn’t have...

We stayed in the log cabin for the weekend and everything was just perfect. Our hosts were warm and friendly and made us most welcome. The cabin was splendid and very comfortable. The log was set amongst trees and it made for a very peaceful and romantic get away. The food is superb and the cooked breakfast is highly recommended!...

This was the best guest house I have stayed in. The facilities were more than what I expected and Eve & Melvin went out of their way to accommodate me. There was an extensive range of freshly prepared meals on the menu. The facilities in the guest house were brilliant; there was even a living room & conservatory downstairs to...

We can only echo what other reviewers have said about Rhyd-y-Groes. Eve and Melvyn run an excellent B&B in a lovely part of Wales. The immediate area is very quiet and there are lots of walks around glorious country side to enjoy. We stayed in the log cabin and enjoyed the “remoteness” you feel when being there. The main house...
