First time staying at the Zoetry Agua Hotel. Francisco check us in so quickly and our room was ready by noon, we were surprise and happy to start our vacation rapidly. Thank you to Jean our concierge for being professional, attentive to all our needs by ensuring and checking with us daily. The hotel staff are amazing, respectful and friendly. These are a few names to mention who made us forget about the seaweed on the beach by being so charming Luis, Alejandro aka super cause he moves so fast and Maria at Amaya Restaurant. Robinson and Rodger (Rogelio) at the Olena Restaurant. Rodger thank you for taking our pictures. My lovely Rosalina and Diana for making us laugh each time we saw them. These ladies are awesome. At the Piragua Restaurant Sergina, Adrian, Jose, Estarlin, Edgar, Poncharelo the morning crew with a smile making us feel at home for breakfast. Piquete, he so charismatic and the best MC. Karaoke 🎤 night I even sang with his encouragement, I'm not a singer but it was definitely a great experience for me. The food was delicious. We ate a different meal every day. The menu option in all the restaurants are extensive and if you wanted something different, they would make arrangements to provide us with our craving. The hotel is slightly dated however you won't even noticed unless you were looking for it. We will highly recommend the hotel and we will definitely come back. Thank you Julissa and Steven.…
We had an absolute amazing vacation. This was my first time taking a vacation since the pandemic and Zoetry exceeded all expectations. I was able to relax, unwind and simply reconnect. Anything that we needed was absolutely taken care off. The staff did an amazing job going over and beyond to ensure we had a stress free vacation. Ramon, my personal conceirge was absolutely amazing. Anything my family needed, he made it happen. He made sure our vacation experience was superior. I will definitely plan another vacation at Zoetry❤️
A lovely stay and 5 star service. Family friendly environment. Excellent butler service. Meals are great, different menu everyday so you get a taste of everything. A very generous all inclusive package.
Zoetry Resort was a new experience for my wife and I. It was very peaceful and zen like atmosphere all the time. It's place just to relax-read-recuperate. It was an adjustment compare to other resorts I've experienced. Not good or bad just completely different.
The property is very beautiful and the staff were all incredible. The only thing that was not visually appealing was the amount of sargassum (seaweed) constantly covering the beach. The staff worked very hard to keep the beach clear though which I very much appreciated.
This was by far the best resort I’ve ever stayed at. I want to go back immediately. It was so nice, incredible food, incredible staff, beautiful accommodations, and so much fun. The entertainment team was awesome. I loved Piry, Pekate, and Fernando. They were so much fun. I also loved my butler, Dio. He was super attentive. I want to go back now!
My family and I have vacationed at many high-end resorts in the Caribbean over the years, but this is the first time we’ve provided a review. Why? Because Zoetry Agua Punta Cana exceeded all of our expectations. We first came upon Zoetry in our search for a 5-star resort that could properly house my wife and I and our 5 children (which included a teenager, twin 8-year olds and twin 5-year olds). Even though the private villas suited our needs perfectly, we were still reticent, as Zoetry is known to be quiet and relaxed (which it is!!), and we were concerned that our kids, despite being well-behaved, would be more “energetic’ than their usual clientele. We decided to take the plunge anyway, and we couldn’t be happier that we did. Check-in was a breeze, and within minutes we were whisked away to our villa by our most excellent concierge, Ramon. Ramon was on point with our every request, responding literally within seconds every time. Like many of the other staff (more on that later), it is Ramon’s thoughtfulness that really stood out. He arranged for a lego set and beach toys to be brought to our room, and brought lollipops to the pool one afternoon for a treat for the kids. Quality food is always high on the list for us, and Zoetry did not let us down. Admittedly, as we were going to be staying for 10 days, I was a bit skeptical about the variety of food, as there are only 4 restaurants on the resort, and only 2 of them open for dinner on any given evening. In fact, “4” and “2” are really misnomers. I’d up the count to 8 or 9, as the menus at each restaurant change daily. Dominican, French, Italian, Spanish…every day something new. And if there isn’t something on the menu that leaps out at you (which can be the case with kids in tow), the chefs will whip up something else for you in a flash. But let’s get back to the staff, who are what make Zoetry truly remarkable. Super Alejandro became like a member of our family, ever-present at the restaurants to ensure that everything was perfect. He introduced me to his favourite Dominican rum, which quickly became mine, and surprised us with off-menu meals that were simply incredible. If he was working Indigo during the day and saw us at the pool, he would bring out nachos, guacamole and salsa for an afternoon snack. Natalie and Ghianelly, 2 of the restaurant hostesses, were so warm and kind to us and our kids. Natalie brought us mangoes from her home after finding out that the kids love mangoes, and Ghianelly bought them hair ties and clips, and some dinosaur figurines for our boy, and tracked us down on the beach on our second to last day to give them to us. We were paired with Eliezer to have lunch with one day for a sales presentation. We spent most of the time talking about family and the important things in life. This included the price of mangoes in Canada, which resulted in him finding us the next day for the sole purpose of giving us mangoes from his tree. A member of the cleaning staff came upon our little ones looking into some bushes and laughing at a large crab hiding amongst the foliage. The next day she came to the pool with a few of them in a bucket for them to look at. We speak no Spanish, she spoke virtually no English, but the language of giggling children is universal. As I said in the opening paragraph, we’ve been to many Caribbean resorts, with clean grounds, good food and upscale accommodations, but Zoetry provides more. That more is the staff. From little gifts, to freshly-picked mangoes, to warm smiles, to fist-bumps with sprinkles at every meal, the staff made our vacation perfect in every way. We hope to be back soon.…
Overall, this resort is both peaceful and fun. We had a great time, made friends with both staff and other guests, and enjoyed the activities and entertainment that was offered. Drinks were great. Food was more than adequate, but could benefit from bolder seasoning. The spa is overpriced, but the uncrowded feel of Zoetry Agua Punta Cana brought us all the tranquility we needed. We traveled with our 13 year old daughter. The property was beautiful. Be prepared for a bit of pressure during check-in as they attempt to get you to pay for an upgraded room. We did this, since Hyatt points could only get us a second floor garden view. Other guests upgraded as well, and the negotiated prices varied greatly. The staff were friendly and many of them were enthusiastic. A few of them were even entertaining! I don't know how busy the resort was at the time, but we never felt crowded. We wanted to tip them, but the front desk would not make change for Dominican Pesos... which is all the ATM dispenses. There were a lot of weeds at the beach and the resort staff were busy every day trying to keep them under control. This may be better during other months, but enjoying the ocean was almost impossible during our week. I found the condition of the beach in the undeveloped area next to the resort to be a huge disappointment. I like to explore nature, but I was disgusted by the endless bottles, cans, plastic, and garbage outside of the resort. This made me feel like the Dominican people had no respect for nature. The condition of neighboring land is unfortunate, as the Zoetry property is beautiful, lush, and clean!…
Me and the husband needed an easy and relaxing week to recharge and spend some quality time together. Zoetry Agua did not disappoint. Total tranquility. The room was perfect and we were upgraded which was amazing. Being able to jump into the pool at any time was amazing. The beach was perfect. Minor seaweed but the resort did a great job of clearing it out. The food was great especially all the seafood! The only thing we both wish we experienced was local food and drink options. Just wanted that flare! Spa. 100% on point! Got a body scrub, mask and massage! Felt amazing. Overall, the energy at the resort is what we wanted/needed. Thank you to Alejandro, Luis, Alan, Amada and everyone else that made our trip amazing!
I went away for a holiday with my daughter son in-law and two grandchildren and wanted something peaceful but elite. Oh my, this was the best Holiday we have ever had. The staff are the best I have ever seen. Wiris - Needs a pay rise as he is an amazing kind guy and so kind to my family. Lady- she was a breath of fresh air Alejandro - such a funny kind man - Lovely Jubly as he says - my grandchildren loved him I would recommed this hotel to anyone who wants to be treated with respect, kindness and warmth. They really are a family in their own right. 100 stars from me x
