Ignore the negative reviews. We had a wonderful time on our vacation staying at the Riu Palace. The beach is beautiful. Every all inclusive I have ever stayed at it is always hard finding a chair at the beach or pool. Not this hotel. There was plenty of room for all. The employees were so friendly and the service was...

I would have given this place 5stars if the food was even of 4 star quality. There just never seemed to be consistency in the food you're served. The buffet was good and would highly recommend it above the altagracia to eat during the day. It all depends on what you order in which restaurant. The salad bar at the...

It has been a while since I stayed at the Riu Palace but after reading some of the reviews about the hotel/service I thought I would write a review to show people it's not a bad hotel! I was there for 2 weeks in August 2010 for my honeymoon and I don't regret it one bit! I saw some negative...

Hola, I stayed at this resort with a couple of friends April, 2011 for my 30th Birthday and could not have had a better time!!! The service was all around great. The staff were all extra friendly they even brought us mimosas every morning for breakfast and brought us a cake for my birthday and had the whole crew come...

I was so unimpressed with food at this resort. Have staying at all inclusives before, this was by far the worst for food. I don't expect the best when at all inclusive, but this was so not worth the price you paid to stay here. Also - the rooms smell extremely musty and damp. Everything we took on vacation needed...

Service off of the charts. Put a dish down, along comes the drink request, hello is warm, interest in satisfaction outstanding and assertive. 1. All folks fantastic to us, however the Hotel manager from what I believe to be Holland was a wise guy with an 'F' in Hotel management 101. Informed him of the unacceptable nature of the sport...

I work in the travel industry and travel all over the world, this hotel is truly first class the staff and service are amazing. The food is superb so much variety. I highly recommend this hotel mainly for adults only as there is not much going on for children. Will 100% return.

The facility is absolutely beautiful and well kept. The staff were wonderful. Food was just plain bad. I am by no means a foodie. I work in a hospital and eat cafeteria food daily with few complaints. Unfortunately, the food was bad enough that we wouldn't go back. All the dairy products and beef products just tasted funky. This is...

We just spent a week at the Riu Palace Punta Cana. We had the best time. We checked in and had a garden room on ground level. Even though you are not in the room very much, we did want a a view. We talked to the Front Desk and they upgraded our room for a "tip". Very well worth...

My husband and I enjoyed our vacation very much. We were looking for a nice hotel on a great beach. And that is exactly what we got. The beach was gorgeous. And there were plenty of activities available on the beach -- boogie boards, windsurfing, sailing, kayaks, and parasailing (extra charge). We walked both ways along the beach for a...
